Donghyuck went back into his room, taking his damp clothes off, and leaving them on the balcony. As much fun it was, he would never jump from his balcony again, it was just something he and Mark could only do.
He didn't feel like sleeping so he went back down the stairs into the dungeon. The place never felt emptier. Renjun was probably fast asleep so he didn't want to wake him up.
The cell was colder than he last was in it. Mark was no longer there so it made sense.
7:21 sharp Mark said.
He didn't know morning or evening but what mattered was that he had to be in his office at that time to seem like it wasn't his fault.
The more he thought about it the more he started to regret helping the older. Yes, he will be getting his memories back but he hated the fact that he helped the leader of one of the biggest mafias.
He went into his office and started getting on with the work that he missed over the past few days.
It didn't feel like it but it was morning when he finished.
"Didn't sleep I see. I heard you went swimming at 1:00 am... that means... he's gone isn't he?" Renjun asked already knowing Mark left.
"Yeah, I sealed up the exit he went through. The cell is going to explode at 7:21. Do you know if it is morning or evening?" Donghyuck asked, knowing that Renjun once worked with NCT but didn't know when.
"They will in the morning. I know because Jeno and Jaemin wanted to meet before the attack!" Renjun squealed a little happy he was finally going to meet his boyfriends after months.
"That's awesome! Just know it is currently 5:00." Donghyuck reminded the other noticing how he didn't care about the time. Renjun nodded his head saying he was going to leave while quickly going into the cell Mark was in to take the phone he left behind.
"Right! I'll see you later Hyuck!" Renjun smiled walking out of the room. Ready to see Jeno and Jaemin.
Just as he left, Donghyuckfelt himself become numb from the silence in the room. His eyes closed as he remembered not getting enough sleep and resting his head on the desk.
"I went to my old house after going with Baekhyun to do something he needed help with-"
"LIES! YOU WENT TO SHINXO'S HEADQUARTERS! YOU THINK I AM THAT DUMB!"
"You could have left, stayed with your own kind but you decided to stay with us. Why?"
"You can leave now. You only remind me of my parents anyway. The ones that YOUR parents killed."
"I'm not the one to choose you to be my partner. If I was I would never choose someone as pathetic as you. So leave!"
"Why don't you tell everyone who your real parents are? I'm sure they will love to hear about your heritage. I already know they are, I killed them."
"Or maybe you will run back to them and hope everything is alright. Go! Become the leader of ShinXo!"
"I don't even fucking like you!"
"Of course it was you killed them. The one person in NCT whose identity is still not revealed as an assassin. The one person who hates my guts."
"Fine, I'll leave and if I see you again I will fucking kill you!"
His eyes opened instantly looking at the time on his watch but he was too late. It just struck 7:21 and Renjun just arrived from the stairs to his bedroom.
The two made eye contact before the explosion was heard shaking the whole building. After they braced themselves from the impact they quickly sprinted to the empty cell seeing as Mark wasn't there and a helicopter was above their heads.
Jeno and Jaemin were there waving at the two below before quickly flying away not to get caught.
Donghyuck abruptly yelled out loud catching Renjun's attention.
"Hyuck? What's wrong?" Renjun worriedly questioned noticing the sweat that trickled down his forehead and the fire in his eyes
"I'm going to kill Mark whether it's the last thing I do." He spat out, the words strong of poison.
"What the fuck happened here!" Onew yelled at the two boys when he noticed the blown-up wall.
"The bloody bastard escaped!" Donghyuck shouted back knowing it was his fault for helping him but had to act like he didn't know. He felt a hand on his shoulder from Renjun telling him to chill a bit as he fought his uncle.
"No use in getting them, he is already out of sight," Taemin informed pointing in the direction they left, the sky was cloudy so it was impossible to see which way they left in.
"Aish! And we finally had their leader!" Onew stressed squeezing his fist tightly for Taemin to urgently take him out of the room so Key and Minho could take care of the situation.
"Donghyuck, Renjun, you might want to leave as well while we sort this out." Minho urged as he left to get back up.
"Look at what I have done," Donghyuck stressed looking to Renjun who rolled his eyes at how Donghyuck was acting to the situation.
"Mark got your memories back and you dare to hate on him for escaping!" Renjun yelled at the younger. Sniffles were heard from Donghyuck as he crawled into a ball.
"I hate him. I hate him so much!" Donghyuck sobbed shoving his face into his pillow to quieten down his cries of anguish.
"Hyuck, come on. I know you hate him and all but you have to learn to move on from him." Renjun nudged the younger.
"You are Haechan! Future ShinXo leader! One of the best assassins we have!" Renjun cheered nudging the younger.
"Assassin! That's it, I will go into that field and kill him for the hell he has given me!"
Renjun face palmed at what Donghyuck just said questioning every bit of his sanity for the boy.
"Hey, Haechan! Get this in your head! You agreed to help Mark Lee escape in the sense that you would get your memories back! You lose 1 thing and you want to cause unnecessary drama! Join the field for your skills not for your stupid grudges!"
Renjun knew calling Donghyuck, Haechan would give him a confidence boost because that's his code name and he has confidence in the name.
"Yes! I Lee Haechan well not be pummeled by some mother fucking bitch like Mark Lee!" Donghyuck yelled out loud.

Renjun smiled seeing as his best friend came back to life from the small yet powerful words he told the choco ball. It was good to see that he was happier even if it was the slightest.

"It has been a year since you took in this position. Lay said you aren't doing as great as you used to after the incident." Key complained to the younger.
"I'm sure you will agree as I was told by Renjun you wanted to move as well, is that true?" Minho added on asking the younger about his needs.
"Am I finally joining the field?" Donghyuck asked with much determination for the job looking Minho into his eyes wanting to be promoted.
"We tried convincing Onew and he said yes so I don't see why not?" Taemin smiled widely at the teddy bear, delighted to see him smile back.
"I am sorry for the mess created the past year and will take full responsibility for the mess, but I think I can clear this all up with the next job I will get." Donghyuck bowed at a 90-degree angle only for him to be pulled back up by Key.
"Stop. Do you really think it is your fault? We must find a way to finish this war, and I think you would be a great asset to the team." Key ruffled the younger's head.
"Plus this job sucks and I knew you were having a hard time with it," Taemin winked at the younger making the four boys laugh. But this laughter went away quickly as Minho got a ring from his pocket.
"Oh shit!" Minho cursed his hand covering his hand in shock.
"What happened?" Key asked worriedly noticing how Minho's eyes were wide and in fright.
"NCT just joined forces with SJ!"
Donghyuck looked confused at the mention of 'SJ' as he had never heard of them luckily Taemin noticed this.
"SJ stands for Super Junior also known as SuJu. They are one of the oldest mafias around and very resourceful. I have no idea how they can join forces but we have some big problem on our hands!" Taemin explained looking at the other two.
"We must start your training starting from today. Follow us." Key pointed to the exit, making sure Donghyuck followed the two.
