Gyuutarou scratched his face again seeing the others had come. "Some of your underlings have come for you, too bad there won't be a happy ending for any of you. You all will die, so don't go all googoo eyes on me."

Tanjiro stared down at the new demon in front of him.

This is a new demon. Is this the real body? Is that why the other one didn't die when decapitated? He thought.

My hands... they're shaking. Maybe it's fatigue, or maybe fear. No, even so, we—

"We will win!" Uzui came in with a smile of pure pride and confidence filled his face.

"No you can't! The poison will diminish your last ray of hope!" Daki shouted back.

Tanjiro and Y/n blinked in shock and looked back at him. Wait... poison?!

"WE'LL WIN EASILY YOU BASTARDS! THERE MAY BE POISONING IN MY BODY, BUT I'M RUNNING HIGH! DON'T YOU EVER LOOK DOWN ON HUMANS!" His voice raised to feel compelling towards the two demons.

"THESE THREE BOYS AND GIRL ARE MY SUCCESSORS. THEY WON'T RUN! THEY HAVE GUTS!"

Inosuke cackled loudly in pride, raising his sword high.

"I'VE ALREADY FIGURED OUT HOW I'LL CUT YOU DOWN! JUST DECAPITATE YOU BOTH AT THE SAME TIME SIMULTANEOUSLY!"

Tanjiro watched as he yelled and shouted. He could see him. He could see those flaming eyes of bravery and courage. He could see him.

He missed him.

"THAT HAS TO BE IT! I HAVE NO REASON TO SPLIT YOU GUYS APART AND TAKE THE WEAK LITTLE SISTER ALIVE! YOU ALL WILL BE SO FUCKING EASY!!"

Inosuke laughed loudly. "GUWAAHAHAHAHAHA! I SEE! HOW SIMPLE! WE'LL WIN!"

Gyuutarou smiled down wickedly at all of them.

"Won't be that easy if you'll be a dead man already. We've eaten a number of you Pillars. I've eaten fifteen, and she's eaten seven."

Daki came in. "That's right. None of you will be alive by sunrise. The long night will be our ally! GET READY TO MEET DEATH!!"

Daki lashed out a band of her magenta sashes towards the three of you. They were about to react when a bright line of cool colors, blue, purple, lavender, and white floating specks that sparkled like the night sky filled the air.

"Y/n!" Tanjiro gasped as a huge hole appeared in the air.

"LEAVE MAGGOT GIRL WITH ME AND STAR-FACE! YOU ALL GET MANTIS BOY!"

"Okay! Be careful!" Tanjiro motioned.

Up with Daki being attacked, she floated in the air for a moment and looked down at Y/n who glared daggers at her figure.

She landed onto the ground. Your kimono flowing in the air along with your (h/l) (h/c) hair, your glowing sword in your dominant hand and clenched tightly.

"You... I have something to say to you." You warned. "I want you to apologize for pulling that girl's ear."

"Even if you provided food and shelter for them, what you did was unforgivable. Just because you did that doesn't make them your property."

Daki scoffed. "You really think I care about a couple little brats? They're weak, why should I care?"

"They're still people. People who matter and deserve all they can get, don't do unto others what you don't want others to do unto you. But you couldn't do that now, could you?" You sneered while tilting your head slightly to the side. It was almost like you knew exactly what she would do when she was angry.

"I don't care. Women are just objects in this world. The owner can sell them, buy them, break them, do whatever the hell they want to them. Freaks have no right to eat food. People who can't do anything right don't deserve food." The demon argued.

You heard the cries of Hanoko erupted from a ways away. You glanced over and saw her clutching her baby close as her husband lay lifelessly on the ground, his jaw wide open with blood all over.

You focused your attention back on Daki and pointed to the three. "You murdered that man. You murdered him. A man, a father, a hard working man. Someone who just wanted to live with his family, to watch his daughter grow into a beautiful woman and see her and his wife happy. You took that away from him, and all you can do is spit on him like he's just a rock in the road for you."

"So?"

Your eyes widened and your anger grew and grew more and more, your breathing becoming irregular.

"You heartless bitch." You uttered deeply. "I'll fucking kill you."

Daki cackled loudly at your pointless words. "We're just returning the pain and suffering people did to us. And collecting what they owe us. We have to pay our pat misfortunes to those who are fortunate, or we can't break even."

She smiled wickedly up at you. An eye had begun to form upon her forehead with the number representing the rank she upheld.

"That's how we lived our lives. And we killed every single person who had a problem with that idea, man."

"Just like you guys. So we will claw out your windpipes."

Meanwhile, Tanjiro got goosebumps all over his body at what Gyuutarou had said.

This guy... that's some intense bloodlust! Of course he's the true upper moon six!

I have to keep it together. Uzui-San is poisoned, I have to protect him, I have to protect everyone. Swing the blade the moment he moves, even if it's just a little.

He realized the the upper moon had gotten to him first, his sharp sickle blade right under his neck and aiming for the brain from below. Sweat dripped out of every pore on his head.

Come on! Move! The blade! Dodge! Dodge! THROW YOUR HEAD BACK!

Something had grasped the back collar of his uniform and threw him upwards into the air. Tanjiro glanced back quickly and saw the Sound Hashira throwing his blades everywhere.

Tanjiro wasted no time in landing onto the ground and catching his breath slightly.

That was until a huge wave of those magenta sashes came crashing down from above in the sky.
