It's been over a week since returning from the Poni Islands, with everyone discovering a new species of Pokémon named Meltan, which Ash ended up catching. Currently outside the Pokémon school, Nhazul was training with Charizard and Greninja.
Nhazul: Greninja, Night Slash, Charizard, dodge it!
Leaping into air, Greninja attempted to slash Charizard, only for it to dodge, side stepping it's strike.
Nhazul: Charizard, Thunder Punch!
Using Thunder Punch, Charizard punched Greninja in the stomach, making it skid back.
Nhazul: Dragon Claw! Night Slash!
The two of them rushed forward, using Dragon Claw and Night Slash, the two proceeded to clash and trade blows, before forcing each to skid back.
Nhazul: Charizard, Flamethrower!
Chsrizard proceeded to use Flamethrower, blasting Greninja, only for himto quickly speed behind it, surprising him
Nhazul: Night Slash!
Using Night Slash, Greninja slashed Charizard's back, making it skid back.
Nhazul: Alright, you two, that's enough. Nice work.
Greninja: Kouga.
Charizard: Zard!
Once finished, everyone proceeded to walk over to Nhazul, as he just finished training.
Ash: Man, Greninja's movements are even sharper then ever! Makes me wish my Greninja was here so we could battle.
Serena: Mastering Synchro Evolution really helped.
Nhazul: Yeah, it did.
Principal Oak: Hey, everyone!
Everyone looked over and saw Principal Oak walking up.
Principal Oak: It's almost time!
Ash: Huh? Oh, that's right!
Sophocles: Professor Kukui told us to assemble at Aether Paradis, right?
Lillie: He claimed to have an important announcement there.
Serena: I wonder what it could be.
Principal Oak: You'll just have to wait and hear it from hiSpritomb! Gangar! Mothim!
Everyone: ...
Everyone just ignored Principal Oak and just walked away.
Principal Oak: Hey, wait for me! Mankey! Metang! Mantine!

Upon arriving at Aether Paradise, everyone was surprised to see the large crowd there.
Ash: Look at all the people!
Margo: Hey! Big bro!
Nhazul looked over and saw Margo and Zeraora walking up to him.
Nhazul: Margo? What are you doing here?
Margo: I came with mom and dad.
Nhazul: They're here? Where are they?
Margo: I'm not sure. They told me to stay with Burnet and went with Kukui.
Zeraora: Ora.
Nhazul then looked over at Zeraora.
Nhazul: Hey, Zeraora. How's staying with my sister? Keeping her out of trouble?
Zeraora nodded at Nhazul, as Margo looked at them annoyed, while pouting.
Margo: What do you mean keeping me out of trouble?
Burnet: Everybody! Over here!
Everyone looked over and saw Burnet calling them.
Ash: Professor Burnet!
After meeting up with Margo and Burnet, everyone took their seats, when Anna walked up to the microphone.
Anna: We're terribly sorry to have kept you all waiting! The presenter for this event is finally here! Professor Kukui, everyone!
Everyone started to clap, as Kukui walked up to the microphone.
Burnet: You can do it, Kukui!
Kukui: Now then, it's time for my announcement... I'd like to officially announce the Alola Pokemon League!
Hearing that, the crowd all started to cheer in surprise and excitement.
Kukui: The Pokémon League is easy to explain. It's a tournament to crown the Champion, the strongest here in the Alola Region! But the most important thing isn't who becomes Champion. What matters is that all the trainers and Pokémon participating fight as one and clash against their opponents with all their might, helping everyone grow! Contestants learning from each other, is the true appeal of this tournament! Their heated battles are sure to bring dreams , hopes and awe to the people! These esteemed individuals have lent their support to my project!
On the stage, a table raised up from the ground to reveal, Hala, Olivia, Nanu, Hapu and Lusamine.
Kukui: Island Kahunas, Halu, Olivia, Nanu and Hapu! As well as President Lusamine of the Aether Foundation!
Lillie looked at her mom surprised.
Lillie: I had no idea...
Ash: Hey, Hapu!
Hapu: Oh! Ash! Nhazul!
Nhazul just chopped Ash on the top of the head.
Nhazul: ...-_-... Let's not disturb the announcement...
Ash: R-Right...
Hala: First of all, we must thank Professor Kukui! We Island Kahunas were deeply moved by his passionate message and therefore we have chosen to aid him however we possibly can! As I'm sure you are all aware, the proud custom of the Island Challenge has been passed down in the Alola Region for generations.
Olivia: But there used to be another custom, which has since been abandoned. Namely, having those who have completed their Island Challenge battle at the summit of Lanakila Mountain. I believe this truly was a battle to determine the Champion of Alola!
Nanu: Putting it simply, Professor Kukui is reviving that custom and opening it to everyone.
Hapu: Trainers and Pokémon who wish ti strengthen one another, competing to prove their might... We wish to make the League that kind of tournament.
Lusamine: Hearing their wishes, we at the Aether Foundation decided to fully back this tournament! Look at this!
Removing the curtains, Lusamine revealed an Pokémon Stadium currently being built in the middle of the ocean, shocking everyone.
Lusamine: This is the main stadium! It's not quite finished yet, but we wish to make this the symbol of the Alola Pokémon League... A stadium of dreams!
Kukui: And to commemorate this announcement, I've invited two special guests, who will be in attendance during the league. Two former Champions of the Kalos Region, as well as two of my closest friends, Inei and Shirona Hatake!
Both Inei and Shirona walked out, and up to Kukui, surprising everyone.
Margo: Mom?!
Nhazul: Dad?!
Inei: It was quite the surprise to hear that Kukui was planning on bringing a Pokémon League tournament to the Alola Region, but it is a a very welcome one.
Shirona: Once finding out, we knew just had to help out our old friend. We're both looking forward to see what this generation of Pokémon trainers are made of!
Kukui: It will soon be time for the long awaited Alola Pokemon League! Let's all have fun and build it up together! En-
Inei just gave Kukui a look, making him realize what he was about to do.
Kukui: Ter! Please! We're waiting for you!

Once the conference was over, everyone began talking about the officially announced Alola League.
Ash: The Pokémon League is the best!
Kiawe: Yeah! Truly the stage of dream!
Nhazul: So this is why my parents decided to suddenly go on vacation. They're helping out Kukui.
Ash and Kiawe both started getting excited and pumped up for the league.
Ash: I'll win, for sure!
Kiawe: As if I'd lose! Now I'm fired up!
Nhazul: I'm sorry to inform you both, but I'm the one who's going to win! Big sis and I are going to be the first Alola Champions!
Principal Oak then looked over at the others.
Principal Oak: Would you all like to participate, too?
Serena: Actually, I was thinking about joining before you asked.
Nhazul and Ash both looked at Serena surprised.
Ash: Wait, really?
Serena: Yeah. Since Gym badges aren't required to enter, this I'll be the perfect opportunity to put all my battle training to the test!
Nhazul just smiled at Serena.
Nhazul: That so? I think that's a great idea.
Nhazul then looked at the others as well.
Nhazul: I think you guys should join too.
Ash: Yeah! The more the merrier!
Kiawe: Great idea!
Lana walked up to Nhazul and Serena excited.
Lana: Yeah! It sounds fun!
Ash: Serious battles are great! You get to go against your rivals!
Nhazul: Helps you push past your limits and grow stronger.
Kiawe: Yeah!
Sophocles: I hope I don't get put up against Ash or Kiawe, and especially not against Nhazul...
Kiawe: What's this? You feel like joining, Sophocles?
Sophocles: W-Well... Yeah... Vikavolt just evolved after all!
Ash: You can do it!
Mallow: Lillie, you can do it too!
Nhazul: Yeah, you were great in your double battle and Snowball even evolved too.
Lillie: Hmm... What should I do...? What will you do, Mallow?
Mallow: I'm not sure , either... Lana?
Lana: I'm going to win!
Mallow: Classic Lana!
Ash: Well, I'm super happy! I can't believe I get to fight in a Pokémon League in Alola!
Nhazul: Yeah. Wasn't expecting to participate in a Pokémon League while I'm on vacation.

It's the next day and currently everyone was in class when suddenly, Kukui's called out by Team Skull, confusing everyone.
Kukui: Team Skull?!
Nhazul: What do they want now?
Tupp: Get down here, Kukui! We wanna talk with ya!
Kukui turned to look at everyone.
Kukui: Everyone, wait in the classroom.
Ash: But...
Kukui: I'll be fine.
Kukui then made his way outside to confront Team Skull
Kukui: I don't know what you want with me, but class is in session. Save it for later.
???: You sure are cold.
Kukui looked over and saw a man with white dyed hair, wearing all black, shocking him.
Kukui: Guzma?!
The man known as Guzma just smirked at Kukui.
Tupp: Yo, Yo! Ya scared?!
Nhazul: And just why would anyone be scared of you idiots?
Kukui and Team Skull looked over and saw that everyone had made their way down.
Plumeria: We'll let you all see it, too! The special match Kukui and the Team Skull boss!
Kukui: Oh, you've come to battle me?
Guzma: You think too small. I've come to destroy you. I get that you want new stuff to replace those stuffy old customs, like Island Kahunas or the Grand Trials. But a Pokémon League? That's no good. Cause everyone already knows who the strongest trainer is!
Zipp: Yeah! Mr Guzma's the greatest, yo!
Kukui: If you think so, then just join the League yourself. Prove it in battle that you really are the strongest, and that it isn't just talk.
Guzma: I won't fall for that trick! If you refuse to back down, then I'll just wreck your League!
Kukui: I won't let you do that!
Guzma: And that's why I came to destroy you first.
Kukui: You haven't changed one bit, Guzma.
Tupp: Hey! That's Mr Guzma to you!
Nhazul then proceeded to walk past everyone, standing in front of Guzma.
Nhazul: If you want a battle, then why not battle me.
Guzma: Huh?
Zipp: We're talkin important stuff here!
Rapp: Don't interrupt us, Yo!
Nhazul: The only thing you're talking is nonsense. And frankly, it's starting to get on my nerves.
Guzma looked down at Nhazul's arm, seeing his Z Ring.
Guzma: You use Z Moves?
Nhazul: I do. And I've cleared all 4 Grand Trials.
Guzma narrowed his eyes at Nhazul annoyed, as he did the same, with the both of them standing off with one another, before Guzma smirked.
Guzma; I like your foulness! Fine! I'll take you on!
Kukui: Wait, Nhazul!
Nhazul didn't say anything, looking at Kukui. Seeing how serious Nhazul was, Kukui sighed.
Kukui: Alright... But I'll be the referee.
Guzma just started laughing.
Guzma: Before I destroy you, I'll destroy everything you care about!
Nhazul: Again with your nonsense.
Kukui: Nhazul isn't a trainer that should be taken lightly.
Guzma: Taken lightly? For who?
Ash: Nhazul! Don't lose to this guy!
Kiawe: You gotta win this!
Nhazul: Oh, I know.

After agreeing to battle, both Nhazul and Guzma got into position, while everyone stood back to watch.
Nhazul: Let's go, Greninja!
Throwing his Pokéball, Nhazul called out Greninja, as it landed in front of him.
Greninja: Kouga.
Guzma: I chose this one!
Throwing out his Pokéball, Guzma proceeded to call out a Golisopod.
Golisopod: Sopod!
Nhazul: A Golisopod, huh?
Rotom Dex: Golisopod. Hard Scale Pokémon. Bug/Water Type. The shell covering its body is as hard as diamond. This Pokémon will do anything it takes to win. With a flashing slash of its giant sharp claws, it cleaves seawater—or even air—right in two. Bug Type moves are super effective against Dark Types. Greninja is at a disadvantage!
Nhazul: Noted.
Kukui: Begin!
Guzma began to smirk, calling out the first attack.
Guzma: First Impression.
Without warning, Golisopod appeared in front of Greninja, surprising everyone, as it hit Greninja, sending it skidding back, having done super effective damage.
Plumeria: That was First Impression. Nobody's ever dodged it.
Nhazul just narrowed his eyes, calling out his attack.
Nhazul: Greninja, Aerial Ace!
Greninja: Kouga!
With blinding speed of it's own. Greninja rushed forward, hitting Golisopod uppercutting it, dealing super effective damage, but Golisopod looked unfazed, surprising everyone.
Serena: It's like it didn't do anything...!
Nhazul: Double Team!
Using Double Team, Greninja proceeded to create multiple clones of itself.
Guzma: Pin Missile!
Using Pin Missile, Golisopod proceeded to destroy all the clones, only for Greninja to have appeared behind it.
Nhazul: Aerial Ace!
Guzma: Poison Jab!
Both Greninja and Golisopod clashed with one another, creating a small shockwave, as Greninja jumped back.
Guzma: Razor Shell!
Golisopod's claws proceeded to glow blue and extended, as it rushed towards Greninja.
Nhazul: Night Slash!
Both Greninja and Golisopod clashed blades with one another, before Golisopod overpowered Greninja.
Guzma: Razor Shell!
Using Razor Shell again, Golisopod slashed Greninja, sending it skidding back.
Guzma: Pin Missile!
Using Pin Missile again, Golisopod hit Greninja once again with super effective damage, creating a small explosion.
Guzma: You waste your time. You can't defeat me and Golisopod.
Tupp: Yeah! He's beats ya down and beats ya down and never lets up!
Nhazul: You know, for someone who wasn't even won, you sure love to run your mouth. Greninja, let's show them what true power is. Greninja, Aerial Ace!
Without warning, Greninja blitzed through the smoke, appearing in front of Golisopod,
kicking it in the face, before leaping into the air, bringing his leg down with a powerful axe kick, slamming it into the ground with a tremendous amount of force. Jumping back, Greninja looked at Golisopod, had gotten back up.
Greninja: ...
Golisopod: ...
As both Greninja and Golisopod stood off with one another, Guzma gritted his teeth annoyed. As Golisopod continued to look at Greninja, it too had an annoyed look,
before returning to it's Pokéball on it's own, surprising everyone, but Guzma began to speak confidently.
Guzma: Golisopod says you're so weak, it lost interest.
Nhazul just gave Guzma a look.
Nhazul: Is that so?
Kukui: Are you throwing the match?
Guzma: I have no interest in battles where the outcome's obvious.
Nhazul: The fact that you say that with such a straight face is hilarious.
Guzma: Give me a break. What's even the point. The Pokémon League will be nothing but schoolyard fights between weaklings. I'll wreak the League itself while all of Alola is watching!
Guzma then turned away and started leaving, before Kukui spoke up.
Kukui: Are you just going to run away like that again? Just like you ran from the Island Challenge and the Island Kahuna?
Guzma just looked at Kukui, before smirking.
Guzma: I'm done. I almost let this loser throw me off again. I came here to destroy you, but that little shit spoiled my mood. So long.
As Guzma and Team Skull proceeded to leave, everyone had walked up to join Nhazul and Kukui, as Nhazul saw Kukui's eyes narrow.
