It's currently the morning and both Nhazul and Ash were getting up and ready for the day, when they saw Kukui walking up from his work area.
Ash: Professor! Alola!
The two of them then saw Kukui with his lab coat buttoned up, shocking them.
Nhazul and Ash: HUH?!
Kukui: Hmm? Something wrong?
Nhazul: I'm pretty sure we should be saying that to you!
Rotom Dex: Why have you buttoned up your coat?!
Kukui: Huh? Cuz it's cold.
Kukui showed them that he was even wearing a shirt, shocking them even more.
Ash: He's even wearing a T Shirt...?!
Kukui: It's kinda like there's a dark cloud hovering above my mind or something...
Ash: Where's Professor Burnet?
Burnet: Right here..
The two of them looked down and saw Burnet on the floor, looking at the fish tank.
Nhazul: Why are you on the floor...?
Burnet: Yeah... Just a bit sleepy...
Ash: You're not going to the ocean today?
Burnet: I'll just observe these instead... Good enough...
Nhazul and Ash both looked at confused.
Nhazul: What the hell is going on?

After making their way to school, Nhazul and Ash saw everyone walking in,
all with different expressions on their faces.
Ash: Alola!
Nhazul: What's with the looks?
Sophocles: Alola... Man, I'm so hungry...
Ash: Didn't you eat breakfast?
Sophocles: No... Mom overslept... And she never does that...!
Mallow: Hey, listen to this!! Dad didn't do any of the usual morning chores today, saying he didn't feel up for it!
Kiawe: My parents too. I had to work like crazy to get all the Pokémon chores done before making my deliveries...
Lana: Same. Dad didn't go out fishing. He was just lazing about at home.
Serena: The workers at Lillie's mansion were the same as well.
Lillie: James was acting somewhat oddly as well.
Ash: For real?!
Nhazul: Kukui and Burnet at acting weird too.
Lana: Weird how?
Nhazul just pointed behind him, as everyone saw Kukui walking in, T shirt, buttoned up coat and all, shocking them.
Kukui: Sup...
Serena: Sup...?
Mallow: Professor Kukui:, it's not "sup", it's "Alola"!
Kukui: Oh, right.
Lillie: Did something happen to you?
Kukui: No, nothing. Um.. I was going to hold a class on the Manalo Festival... which woods held during the total solar eclipse in two days... Discuss it yourselves...
Everyone: Huh?!
Kukui then walked out the room, surprising everyone.
Nhazul: See...?
Kiawe then walked up in front of everyone.
Kiawe: Very well! I will tell you about the Manalo Festival!
Ash: Yeah! Counting on you!
Kiawe: Once every 21 years, there's a total solar eclipse in Alola. The Four Island Kahunas of Alola go to their island's ruins on that day and offer a prayer of graduate to the Legendary Pokémon described on Alola's creation myth!
Mallow: That's the Manalo Festival, which has become a tradition in Alola since the region was formed!
Serena: "Manalo"?
Kiawe: It's from the old language. It means "You and I live together".
Ash: Really? Sounds nice!
Lana: I like it, too.
Lillie: Alola and Manalo... Hmm, "Alola" and "Manalo" are quite similar, yes?
Kiawe: "Alola"' means "To share".
Nhazul: So if you put them together, "We share and live together".
Lillie: I have question. Could you tell us about this Legendary Pokémon described in Alola's creation myth?
Kiawe: That's the Radiant One!
Nhazul, Serena and Ash: The Radiant One?
Mallow: You guys know of it?
Serena: A friend we made on Ula'ula Island told us about it.
Rotom Dex: We saw this picture back then!
Rotom showed everyone the picture from the book.
Sophocles: This is the Radiant One?
Lama: Solgaleo and Lunala are there too.
Nhazul: Poipole drew a picture of it a few days ago too.
Mallow: Why would it do that?
Nhazul: Your guess is as good as ours.
Lillie: I've heard about the Radiant One, too.
Ash: Really?
Lillie: Back when mother was still young, grandfather would tell her the legend of the Radiant One to help her sleep. And in the same way, mother told the legend to me and my brother.
Ash: I see!
Mallow: Hey, could you tell it to us, too?
Lillie: Very well! The Radiant One appeared on Earth and filled the world with its overflowing light. The light was filled with a mysterious power, and from it our Alola Region was born. However, after the Radiant One had depleted all it's light, it turned black and entered a long, deep slumber. Then the emissaries of the Sun and Moon appeared, and shared their light with it. Awakened from it's slumber, the Radiant One shone once more, and flew off to the ends of the sky. The end.
Serena: What a lovely story.
Kiawe: First time I've heard the story.
Ash: What are these "emissaries of the Sun and Moon"?
Nhazul: Most likely Solgaleo and Lunala.
Mallow: Yeah! They were in that picture, too!
Sophocles: What about the "ends of the sky"?
Lana: The other side of the Ultra Hole!
Kiawe: Does that mean that Radiant One still lives on the other side of the Ultra Hole?
Lillie: That's absolutely possible, if the story is indeed true.
Ash: The Radiant One, huh?
Later in the day, Ash and Kiawe were training together, and attempted to use a Z Move, but couldn't activate them. Later on during lunch, as everyone was eating, Type: Null shot up, and began growling at the sky.
Type: Null: VALLY!!! SILVALLY!!!!
Nhazul: Silvally?
Lana: What's wrong with Silvally?
Nhazul: I don't know...
Type: Null: VALLY!!! SILVALLY!!!! VALLY!!! SILVALLY!!!!
Nhazul got up and tried calming down Type: Null, along with Eevee and Latias, but it was extremely restless.
Eevee: Vee...!
Latias: Tias...!
Nhazul: Silvally, calm down! What's wrong?
Type: Null: VALLY!!! SILVALLY!!!!
Serena: I've never seen it act like this.
Lillie: I wonder if big brother's is acting the same way...?
Nhazul looked at Type: Null's eyes and saw how afraid it looked, surprising him.
Nhazul: You're afraid...?
Mallow: Afraid?
Serena: What could possibly scare Silvally?
Nhazul: It keeps looking at the sky.
Lana: It looks even darker then it was this morning...
Lillie: It's like a storm is coming...
Ash: Do you think it has something to do with why we couldn't use our Z Moves earlier?
Kiawe: Maybe... But-
Suddenly, everyone heard the bell ring, signaling that an Ultra Beast had appeared, surprising them.
Mallow: That's the Ultra Guardians dispatch call!
Sophocles: This is usually when Professor Kukui...
Nhazul walked up to the board and activated the elevator.
Nhazul: Then I'll do it! Let's go!
Everyone: Right!
(Timeskip)
After gearing up, everyone went to the screen and were meet with no one on the screen.
Everyone: Huh...?
Suddenly, everyone was me with a very tired and uninterested Lusamine, pulling herself up.
Lusamine: A... Alola... Ultra Guardians... Are you ready...?
Lillie: Mother! You should make yourself presentable before appearing before others!
Lusamine: I guess... That's such a pain, though...
Lillie: MOTHER!!!
Nhazul: ...-_-... Never thought I'd hear those words coming from her...
Lusamine: Everyone, head for the Altar of the Sunne on Poni Island on the double.
Serena. Has another Ultra Beast appeared?
Lusamine: I'll tell you the details when you're there...
Ash: Okay!
Lusamine: ...
Everyone: ...
Lusamine: Okay... See you there.
Everyone: Huh?
Lusamine: Is something wrong?
Rotom Dex: Where's the cool line?!
Nhazul: ...-_-... I wouldn't call it cool if I'm being honest...
Ash: This is my chance! I've wanted to say it! Ultra Guardians, move out at once!
Everyone other then Nhazul: Ult Roger!

Upon arriving at Poni Island, everyone was met by Lusamine, Burnet, Wicke and Faba waiting for them.
Ash: Professor Burnet.
Burnet: Thanks for coming!
Lusamine: The 9th one should be here any moment.
Everyone looked at Lusamine confused.
Nhazul: 9th?
Suddenly, everyone saw Gladion fly down on his newly caught Noivern, along with being in a Ultra Guardian uniform.
Nhazul: Gladion?
Gladion: Son of Dark King!
Nhazul: STOP CALLING ME THAT!!!!!
Lillie: Big brother? But why?
Gladion: Silvally is extremely frightened. I assume yours is the same?
Nhazul: Yeah. I've never seen it like that before.
Gladion: I figured. If the cause is an Ultra Beast, then it could be the most dangerous one yet.
Nhazul: The most dangerous one, huh?
Poipole flew up to Gladion, surprising him.
Gladion: Don't tell me.. That's an Ultra Beast , too?!
Ash: Yeah. It's called Poipole. Isn't it cute?
Gladion: ...
Nhazul: Back on topic. Lusamine, what's our mission?
Lusamine: We'll explain from the top. And by "we", I mean Burnet.
Burnet: Sure... The Ultra Aura reading in Alola have been steadily dropping all day.
Wicke: Maybe that's why our motivation has been rapidly dropping, too.
Mallow: Is that what happened to dad and Professor Kukui, too?
Lusamine: For some strange reason, it doesn't effect any of the age of 17 or younger, as well as Pokémon.
Lana: She's right.
Burnet: After carful investigation, we figured out that the Ultra Aura decrease was caused by a tiny Ultra Hole that opened near here.
Wicke: The Ultra Aura is getting sucked into it, you see.
Gladion: Getting sucked in?
Burnet: An Ultra Beast capable of doing that could be on the other side of the hole.
Nhazul: And you're say there's a chance for it to appear here?
Lusamine: It's possible, if the Ultra Hole grows larger.
Burnet: That being the case, we want to confirm the exact location of the Ultra Hole, but...
Wicke: Faba.
Faba didn't answer Wicke, due to playing a video game.
Wicke: FABA!!!
Faba: Oh, yes... um... The clouds covering the sky are in the way... That's where this Cloud Dispersing Machine I invited cones into play. Your mission is to use your Z Moves to activate this machine and clear away the clouds.
Ash: Z Moves, huh... We couldn't pull them off properly earlier...
Kiawe: We couldn't store enough Z Power.
Burnet: Figured... Our latest research has shown that Z Power is closely linked to Ultra Aura.
Kiawe: I see! So it didn't work because the Ultra Aura had dropped!
Faba: Even if you've got less Z Power to pull from, if 6 Z Moves work together, the machine will activate... Hopefully...
Nhazul: 6, huh? Then we just have enough. Me, Ash, Lana, Serena, Kiawe and Gladion.
Ash: Then let's do this!
Everyone: Right!
The 6 of them crossed their arms, charging up their Z Moves.
Nhazul: Devastating Drake!
Ash: Gigavolt Havoc!
Kiawe: Inferno Overdrive!
Lana: Hydro Vortex!
Serena: Shattered Psyche!
Gladion: Continental Crush!
Latias, Pikachu, Marowak, Popplio, Braixen and Lycanroc all fired off their Z Power into the machine, as it fired off a blast into the sky, clearing out the clouds.
Kiawe: The plan worked!
Wicke: It's all thanks to you.
Burnet: Alright, time to locate that Ultra Hole.
Lusamine: While she's doing that, there's something I want to show you all. Not too long ago, a new ruin was discovered deep inside the Altar of the Sunne.
Everyone looked at Lusamine surprised.
Lusamine: I'll lead you there.
Following Lusamine, she led everyone down to the new area of the alter, showing an older painting of the Radiant One, along with Solgaleo and Lunala.
Nhazul: The Radiant One?
Poipole proceeded to fly up to the painting, mesmerized, as well as looking at a strange symbol.
Ash: That's..!
Rotom Dex: It's the symbol Poipole drew earlier!
Sophocles: There's a lot of letters, too!
Rotom Dex: These are from an ancient alphabet!
Lusamine: Do you remember the legend of the Radiant One?
Gladion: Yeah.
Lillie: Of course.
Lusamine: If we can decipher this text, we might be able to solve the mystery behind the legend.
Suddenly, Burnet called Nhazul on his communication device.
Burnet: Everyone, come up!
Rushing back up, they met up with Burnet, as she, Wicke and Faba all looked concerned.
Ash: Did something happen?!
Burnet: We located the Ultra Hole, but...it keeps getting bigger!
Lusamine: Where is it?
Burnet: There!
Burnet pointed upwards towards the moon, where everyone could see it.
Lusamine: The Ultra Hole?!
Suddenly, the Ultra Hole grew even larger, as Lunala flew through it, surprising everyone.
Ash: It's Lunala!
Serena: Wow!
Lana: We got to meet another Legendary Pokémon!
Kiawe: My feeling are roaring as fiercely as a Inferno Overdrive!
Sophocles: Can you believe it?! First we meet Solgaleo, and now Lunala too!
Suddenly, both Silvally and Type: Null came out of their Pokéballs on their own, extremely restless. Nhazul then looked at Luna and saw looked distraught, as well as damaged, making his eyes widened in realization.
Nhazul: EVERYONE, get ready! There's something else coming!
Everyone looked at Nhazul confused, as a second Jet Black Pokémon ripped open the Ultra Hole, pulling it's self through, letting out an ear piercing screech.
