Double update? YEAH
Adira let out a small groan as she opened her eyes, the brightness from the sun making her shut them quickly, "ah shit my eyeballs," Adira huffed out in annoyance. Eddie let out a small chuckle as he looked down at the girl in his arms. The two of them were laying on the ground under skulls rock, facing each other. She was using one of his arms as a pillow and his other arm was wrapped around her waist
"Morning sunshine," Eddie muttered out to her softly and she finally opened her eyes again, looking up at him with a small smile. However, her smile didn't last long as memories from the night before seemed to flash through her mind. Eddie noticed the sad look on her face and took his arm off her waist and reached up to her face, brushing her hair behind her ear, "everything is going to be okay Adira. If we have each other then we will both be fine, we are going to get through this okay?"
Adira nodded her head softly, a small tear slipping from her eye which Eddie quickly wiped away, "don't cry sweetheart," he pleaded with her, knowing that if she cried then he would more than likely cry too. He hated that she was going through all of this, and he made it his mission to be there every step of the way from now and on
"Why is all of this shit happening? We are just kids," she whispered out, leaning into Eddie's hand as they gazed into each others eyes, "all of this is wrong. Why Hawkins? Why us?" Eddie wished that he had an answer for her, he really did. But there was nothing that he could come up with, he couldn't explain why there was a monster killing a bunch of teenagers.
"I don't know love," Eddie whispered to her softly, "the world is a sick and cruel place. We are all just placed here to live and then die... we all die in the end, it's what you do to actually live your life while you can that counts," he muttered out to her, "you never know when your time is going to come so all you can do is surround yourself with people who are worth living for."

Robin, Steve, Nancy, Dustin, Max and Lucas all arrived at Reefer Ricks house, expecting to just see Adira and Eddie but they got the shock of their lives as they noticed all of the police cars and the crowd of people which was growing as the minutes past out side of the house. There was yellow police tape everywhere and barricades to stop the people from getting closer and getting a better look at anything that was going on from behind the tape.
They quickly piled out of the car and felt their hearts sink into their chests as they looked at the scene in front of them, "Come on, this way," Nancy muttered out to the rest of the teens and they all tried to avoid the crowd and walk around the back but it was all taped off so they stopped and looked over at the sherif and deputy who were talking to a camera which was live streaming all around Hawkins.
Steve and Robin shared a worried look, all they were thinking about was Adira. Was she okay? Had Jason got to her and Eddie and then hurt them? Had Vecna got her? Had the police found her and Eddie and then arrested them.
"Officer Callahan here and myself arrived first at the scene. We made our way over to the shore of Lover's Lake, about 10 yards from the house that you can see behind me. Uh, it was there that we found the victim," Powell said, making them stop walking, all of them were now listening intently, scared for Eddie and Adira
"An 18-year-old senior from Hawkins High, Patrick McKinney," Powell finished, making a few of the teens let out breaths of relief, though they still felt sad about the death of the boy.
The teens all felt their heartbeats quicken, Vecna had taken yet another victim, though they were relieved to know that it wasn't Eddie or Adira. Lucas felt a sense of sadness at the news, Patrick had been one of the few boys on the team who had been nice to him before he got the winning shot at the championship game
"His limbs... and his body uh it was disfigured and his eyes were missing. There was an eyewitness on the scene, a fellow student at Hawkins High who we are not legally able to identify, but he did watch the scene unfold and was with the body when we got here. We have also identified a person of interest. Eddie Munson, a fellow Hawkins student. We also believe that the person of interest has taken 17-year-old Adira Harrington, another student at Hawkins High, as hostage. We encourage anyone with information to please come forward so that we can get this girl back home safe to her family."
Various people around Hawkins grew concerned as they heard the girl's name and the hunger to capture Eddie Munson only grew. Adira was well loved by many people in the two of Hawkins, and the news of her being taken hostage seemed to shock the town to the core. People in the crowd began to call out questions, desperate for the police to give them answers.
"Oh man," Steve muttered out as the Sheriff stopped talking. He had now released Eddie Munson's name to all of Hawkins which meant that almost every single person would be out looking for him, and they had said that Adira was kidnapped and taken hostage by the boy, "this is not good. This is really not good."
People all began to shout out questions for the two officers to answer, the words were incoherent and disgruntled as they all shouted them out at once. The crowd grew louder and louder as the demand for answers grew.
"You have all got a lot of questions and I am going to answer as many of them as I can," Powell explained to all of the people. The crowd outside of the drug dealer's house was only seeming to grow more and more as the time passed, now that people had seen where they were on the news, they were pulling up in their cars to get a better look at what was happening, "two o'clock at town hall, where anyone from the Hawkins community is welcome. But right now, I have got some work to do, and I appreciate your understanding."
People began to shout more questions at the two officers but they ignored them and walked off, back towards their cars so that they could try and find out more information on what was going on.
"Dustin, can you hear me? Wheeler?" they suddenly heard Eddie's voice call through the walkie-talkie. Dustin quickly scrambled around as he pulled his backpack off and then grabbed his walkie-talkie, quickly walking further away from the crowd so that nobody could hear Eddie's voice.
The group turned away from the crowd and made their way back over to Steve's car. "Eddie? Are you and Adira okay?" Dustin asked him once they were out of earshot range. Dustin couldn't imagine how sad Adira was right now, she had lost two of her close friends in a matter of days and had almost lost Max.
Eddie and Adira quickly shared small excited grins as they finally got a reply, meaning that they had finally come in range. The two of them had snuck over to a construction site and nicked a walkie-talkie that one of the workers had left lying around whilst going to the bathroom. But their grins and excitement quickly disappeared as Dustin's question sparked their memories and all of the events from the night before filled their minds again.
"Nah, man. Pretty... pretty goddamn far from okay," Eddie admitted into the radio, shaking his head as he voiced his concerns. He still couldn't get over it, he had now watched two people be killed by Vecna, and it wasn't any more pleasant the second time, even if he hated Patrick.
"where are you?" Dustin asked them both quickly, keeping his voice down low so that they didn't draw any attention to themselves.
"Skull rock. Do you uh... Do you know it?" Eddie asked the boy, hoping that at least one of them knew where it was so that they could go over and rescue them.
"Uh yea, that near Cornwallis and---" Dustin started but cut off and there were a few moments of silence. Eddie and Adira shared concerned looks before Dustin's voice filled their ears again, "Yeah I know where it is. Hold tight okay, we are coming. We're coming!" Dustin said in a rushed voice and then there was nothing but silence again
"Well thank fuck for that," Adira muttered out before asking Eddie for the Walkie. He handed it over to her quickly, "uh before you guys leave... my car, is my car okay?" Adira asked them quickly, praying to god that her Camaro was still alright, "I left it in the garage at Ricks!"
The teens over at Reefer Ricks looked over near the garage which had been untouched like the rest of the house, the only places that were actually being investigated were the boat house and down near the water where Jason had pulled Patrick's body from the lake
"Yeah we're pretty sure that its fine, they haven't searched the garage or the house by the looks of it," Dustin said into the walkie-talkie, "with any luck they wont touch the garage and we can get your car out later other wise they will probably take it in as evidence, but they haven't even gone near the garage yet."
Adira let out a sigh of relief, "Okay great, thanks Dusty," Adira muttered and then placed the walkie-talkie back down on the ground between the two of them, "and now we wait."
