Mr. Ashford was busy with his company when he receive a call he was waiting for days now
[sir we've finally track her down she was one of the caretakers at **** orphanage] the man said on the other line
"did you find her name?" he ask
[sorry sir no one knows her real name so they all call her Ms. Nameless]
"where is she right now?" ask Mr. Ashford
[she's at the orphanage sir] the man replied
"thank you" Mr. Ashford said and ended the call
'**** orphanage, is it just a mere coincidence or your hiding something from me, Layla?' Mr. Ashford thought as he stood up grabbing his coat and went out of his office
"cancel all my appointments this afternoon reschedule everything including my appointments for the next three days" he instructed his secretary before he left the building
He drive to the orphanage and parked his car near the entrance as he sat there watching the entrance his grip on the steering wheel tightens
On the orphanage the lady was still lying on her bed despite the sun shining highly on the sky as the memory of everything Layla told her the day before keeps bugging her not letting her get a single blink of sleep
"tell me everything, I wanna know everything?" she said begging while Layla look at her full of sadness and hesitation
"will you be able to take everything?" Layla ask her again
"tell me" she answered determined
"where should I start?" Layla ask
"who am I?" she ask
"your real name was... Celeste... Celeste Luna Ashford" Layla said as she just continued to listen
"you have a family, your husband's name is Daemon Ashford and you have three children namely Danica Luna, Darcel Luan and Daeven Luan" hearing this she felt happy but at the same time sad then she remember that boy again who came with Sean in the orphanage
"Darcel... is that the boy that came with your son?" she ask
"yes" Layla answered
"your husband he..." Layla continued but once again hesitated if she should tell her everything at once
"what? Just tell me I don't want any more lies Layla I want to know everything" Celeste again said in a determined voice
"he was a mafia boss" Layla said in a low tone
"mafia boss?" ask Celeste
"yes he was a mafia boss but you didn't mind and went on and marry him despite knowing the danger" Layla replied
"maybe because it was true love" Celeste smiled weakly
"yeah that's what you also told me when I went against your marriage" Layla smiled
"after two years of marriage Danica was born but life wasn't easy for you with all the dangers surrounding you so I was the one who always helps you, later Darcel and Daeven came and the danger subsided like a calm before a storm, you were all happy but one day the Devils Mafia attacked you, that time it was only you and Darcel at home you called me for help I don't know what happened after you ended the call but when I reached your house you were crawling to the backdoor all covered with your blood murmuring Darcel's name but I can't go find him anymore as I smell gasoline and the fire on your house was already too big so I carried you out of there but the explosion's impact on you was too severe not to forget you are wounded I've got no choice but to take you away from there using the forest path" Layla
"I sent you to the hospital hiding your real identity and the next day I also heard Darcel was in the hospital who is also in a coma, that time I decided to hide you and when you finally woke up not remembering anything I decided to let you live like that but watching you each time questioning your identity I wanted to tell you everything but my fear overcomes me I can't sent you back again to where the danger is, even if that means I'm separating you with your husband and children, I also wanted to tell your family but I just can't" Layla cried while Celeste remained silent staring at her while crying
"believe me Celeste I did everything to protect you I know one day you will know everything but I just hope you can forgive me" Layla said but Celeste remained the same
Celeste then abruptly stood up and run out without looking back at the crying Layla
Celeste remembered some piece of her memory but big part of it was still missing especially what happened when that incident occurred 'Daemon' she thought as she stood up but she felt dizzy as soon as she sat up but she shrugged it off and run to her bathroom after cleaning and dressing herself up she went out of her chamber to be met by mother Natalie
"you are going to him?" mother Natalie ask
"you know everything?" Celeste
"not everything but yes I've known something" mother Natalie replied
"yes I want to see him" Celeste
"be careful" mother Natalie can only say as she know she can't really stopped the lady
"thank you mother" she said and walk away
Daemon who was staring at the entrance froze as he saw the lady that is coming out of the orphanage 'Celeste' he thought as he felt his eyes sting and the longing in his heart resurfaced
"Celeste" he whispered
His tears finally fell from his eyes he was about to come out of his car when he saw her hailing a cab so instead he followed them secretly but to his surprise the destination was familiar, it was to where one of their companies is and he was right the cab stops in front of the company and Celeste went out after paying the driver but she just stood there looking up at the company Daemon then called his secretary
"come down and ask the lady standing in front of the company what she wants and don't end the call use headset" he instructed
[yes sir] the secretary replied and went down as instructed
"excuse me ma'am can I help you with anything?" she ask Celeste who finally came to her senses
"yes uhm may I know the name of the owner of this company?" Celeste ask wiping her tears away quickly
"it's Mr. Daemon Ashford ma'am do you have anything to tell him?" she inquired
"no I was just asking, is he here?" ask Celeste
"I'm sorry ma'am but he went out a while ago I think he had some emergency" replied the secretary
"give her my business card or ask her number" Daemon said on the phone
"but you can reach him in this number ma'am and if you don't mind you can also give me your contact number I can tell him to contact you when he come" the secretary did as told
"thank you and no need I'll just call him" Celeste said putting the card in her pocket before bowing to the secretary and left
"you can go back to work" Daemon said and ended the call before he once again followed the cab that Celeste hailed
Their next location was in their old house and Daemon once again followed him silently he can finally clearly see Celeste's face despite her tired looking face her beauty can't still be denied Celeste went and sit on the dirty fountain while facing the burned house
"give me a little time" she said while crying
"until I remember everything give me more time" she cried as she again felt her heart breaking
"mom angel baby brother is so cute" said the cute little girl to her mother as they sat on their beautiful garden
"promise I will protect him and not let any bad guys hurt him" again the girl said
"you are finally a big sister now angel" Celeste smiled
Another memory came rushing in her memory making her wail there
"mom I finally have two baby brothers and they are so cute" Danica said with a twinkling eyes while both her mother and father laugh at their first born's cuteness
"I'm sorry" she cried
Daemon who was watching his wife was also crying, his heart breaking hearing her wailing and asking forgiveness for something she didn't mean to do
Meanwhile Sean after a week was finally discharged
"be careful on your way" Darcel said kissing him in his forehead as Sean's mother was the one taking him home and Darcel was just there to see him off
"I love you" Sean said
"I love you more see you in school on Monday" Darcel said and Sean nodded smiling at him brightly
"let's go" Sean's mother said smiling at the two
After the two left Darcel also went his way to their house
"your home brother" Catherine greeted him with a smile but Darcel ignored her
"where's father?" he ask instead in his normal cold tone
"he was out" she answered and Darcel just nodded
"by the way brother I'm finally going to work at **** police station tomorrow" she informed
"I heard Raiden is also working there" she continued but Darcel also continued to ignore her and just like that Darcel went to his room completely ignoring her who just look down and also left
The next day Danica was all dressed up as the deal will be held that day
"Luna darling you already fixed everything didn't you?" ask the madam who was in the same car as her
"yes madam you don't have to worry about a single thing" she said and went out of the car as they've already reach the destination
"they are late" Danica commented seeing that the others wasn't still there
"they've called a while ago informing us that they will be late for a few minutes" one of their men informed and Danica just nod while the madam rolled her eyes
"if only they aren't a regular I would already shot them one by one in the head" the madam commented sounding all irritated while no one bothered to answer her
After a few minutes Italians came
"hello there beautiful" the leader commented seeing Danica
"well hello there" Danica replied sweetly yet deep inside her she wanted to puke
"where's my stuff?" ask the Italian guy
"here" Danica said opening boxes of different types of drugs
"money" she said and the Italians also opened their cases full of money
They were about to do the exchange when the police surrounded them and a gun fight broke out and Danica have no choice but to hide
"f*ck" she heard the madam cussed as she was near her
The gun fight continued as they are all busy Danica also went and make some of the madam's men sleep without her noticing it while the Italians was almost wiped out as they tried to escape and only their leader was caught Danica was about to chase the madam and her other followers when an officer suddenly pushed her against the wall and handcuffed her
"f*ck let me go you idiot" she said but the guy didn't listen to her and drag her out
"B*START F*CK LET ME GO" Danica shouted out of frustration and tried to free herself but she failed
"not a chance" the man said to her dragging her towards the car
Other officer's went and chase those who escaped while other stayed to secure the area and when the other police officers saw Danica being dragged out with handcuffs they all froze in their place until Raiden and Catherine saw this Raiden was first to run to her
"general Ashford" called out Raiden making the police officer stop and look at him
"captain" the police officer saluted
"release her" Raiden said
"sir?" he ask puzzled
"release me now before you f*cking lose your f*cking job" Danica said and Raiden released her himself
"you okay?" ask Raiden but instead Danica look at the officer
"why the f*ck did you let a newbie be part of this operation?" she ask sternly full of authority
"forgive me general but we are short of men today so we had no choice but to pull out the newbies" Raiden explained
"B*LSH*T..... were not yet done with this" Danica can only say before she grabs her gun but before she can move a gun shot was heard and Danica look down to only see her blood oozing down from her stomach
"DANICA!" was the last thing she heard before she lost consciousness
