"and, action!" the director yelled out, and on cue adriana, in character started squirming in the arms of ethan hawke, who was also in character. she grabbed her fake pocket knife from her pocket and sliced his arm, ethan let out a fake yell, which was very believable to the directors, throwing her in the back of the black prop van. the black balloons in his hand as he let them go onto the crime scene of where her character is taken. "cut! good job everybody!" the cameras stopped rolling, and the crew members and staff started doing their works.
adriana opened the doors, hopping out the van as she high fived ethan and walked over to her new friends.
"good job, addie." miguel mora said as she walked over to them with a smile, sitting down next to him on her chair that said "adriana" in a bold font.
adriana glanced at him, "thanks miguel. also should we do something tonight, i don't know, i'm feeling pizza party."
it was currently their third day filming, miguel and adriana had become good friends in their short period of knowing each other. same goes for the rest of the cast, who has went to go get their makeup done so they can film their parts.
miguel is a nice hispanic boy, with shoulder length hair and an bubbly attitude. just like in the new film they're making, this kid sure knows how to fight.
adriana, who has taken jujitsu and gymnastics somewhat of her life had taken an offer of sparring with him. turns out, they could both hold off long until they ran out of breath. which has happened once, and she promises never again, claiming she's way out of shape to spar. but in all honesty, they were just two scrawny kids with very little hygiene in their system.
miguel, to which was thinking about her question about the pizza party, shrugged with a slight nod. "yeah, i'm down for pizza. later when mason thems done with their scenes we'll tell them. then i can get out of these clothes."
looking at him, he wore a yellow sleeveless top, a bandana wrapped around his head, tied in the back. his hair was reaching his shoulder but curved a bit to where it didn't technically touch his shoulder yet.
both of them laughed, adriana playfully shook her head. "yeah, and the longer i can get my phone." she groaned, she always felt the need to have her phone on her. she will always prioritize her phone first, but her brother took it for safe keeping, since she was filming today he didn't want it out.
"do you know which scene mason them is doing?" he asked, looking at her, to which she shook her head.
"dunno, i think the part he's talking to the grabber. wait never mind, because my character just got kidnapped by him."
the boy shrugged, "eh, also your actings amazing by the way. very believable." he complimented, smiling at her.
a small grin set place on her lip, "thank you, yours too." she knows she just met the boy, but gosh, he was so cute, and nice. it just roped her in, the way he smiles, a small sparkle in his eyes. and the way he would always try and converse with her, making her laugh or smile really didn't fail. whenever he smiled, so did she.
"no problem, and thanks." he nodded, adriana turned her focus to in front of her, watching as the directors and producer talked. engrossed in a conversation that's probably important, they looked so focused. the scripture was in the producers hand, showing the directors the lines, and reading it quietly to them as they nodded. "hey, uhm," miguel said, making her attention go back on him. "did you read page four? of the script?"
adriana tilted her head trying to think, before shaking it. "no i haven't, why?"
miguel waved his hand, as if saying don't worry about it. "no reason, just wondering."
before adriana said anything, a mop of messy hair came in view behind miguel. the face of mason going over to sit next to them on his chair, which also had his name in a bold white font. "hey guy," he waved.
"hey mason."
"sup, how was filming?"
came two separate responses from both of his new friends, which made him nod. "it was alright, but the producer called out cut and went to go talk to the directors. heard they might change up a scene, just don't know between who." he explained, looking at the producer and directors who had walked off, going to talk to the staff.
"oh, i should've read page three." adriana muttered, looking down at her nails as she picked at them.
"by the way," miguel started, looking at mason. "adri here was thinking maybe tonight we could go and have a pizza party, the whole cast, we'll, just the teens to be honest."
adriana slightly blushed at the nickname he gave her, she doesn't know why. but she looked around to see if anybody noticed, which thankfully no one did and she looked back up at the two boys.
"yeah that seems like a good idea, could get the bonding in." mason nodded, smiling slightly at adriana.
those two hadn't talked much, since they were practically separated throughout the three days. but still considered one another friends.
"to be honest," adriana murmured, "i'm kinda getting hungry right now."
"you're always hungry," she heard a voice in the back of her say, and she turned her head to see her half older brother, zander Prescott strutting over to them with a grin. he played parker rooney in one of her favorite shows on disney, liv and maddie. she also starred as an extra, which she was excited about cause she got to meet dove cameron.
zander, is one of the crew members. basically he helps the directors with shooting scenes some times, or he'll help the dressers. so basically, adriana is stuck with him every day, or all the time she's working.
pressing her lips in a thin line, she watched as he made his way over, throwing a smile and a nod to the two boys, who had done the same and then engaged their own conversation about the movie cars. talking about their own favorite characters.
"do you have food?" she asked, trying to check is he's hiding any on him.
zander raised an his eyebrows, sticking his hands into the pockets of his jacket as he sarcastically said, "oh yeah i'm doing fine thanks for asking-"
"i didn't."
"you know, my days going great-"
"i don't care."
zander gave her a look, to which he just got a deadpanned one. "no, i don't have food."
adriana through her head back a little, "ugh i'm starving, you starved me last night."
"i didn't starve you." he quickly stated, before anyone might think that he actually starves her at home. "i told you make your own food cause i had to go to a meeting."
"that's the same thing." she looked at him, a bored look on her face. "plus there wasn't anything i wanted to eat in there, the pantry is empty."
"i just brought food."
"yeah, when i was sleeping."
"oh, whatever." he through back at her, flicking her forehead softly which made her crack into a small smile. giggling as he tickled her sides just a bit, before she straightened her posture. "hey, i gotta go and grab a few products for the makeup people, whatever you guys call them. i'll be back alright?"
"mkay, bye, love you!" she called out as he began walking away.
"sure you do," he replied.
"since when do i lie?"
"..."
"wow."
offended, she turned her gaze back to the two boys beside her, to which was still engrossed in their own conversation.
"no but like, when i first watched it i thought mc queen was a girl because of his name."
"not gonna lie same."
looking to her side, she noticed madeline walking up to them, her chair was across the room, but she would always come over to converse with adriana since both of them were girls and close in age.
adriana knows there's another girl in the cast, but she just forgot her name since they haven't really had any scenes together.
madeline was a very nice girl, just a year younger. she plays finney blake's younger sister, who has these dreams that come and go. madeline had her hair in two braids that were on either side of her shoulders, which adriana thought was very pretty.
"hey maddie," adrianna smiled, waving at her. which got her the same reaction, the younger girl happily standing next to her to talk.
