The answer to the cliffhanger you have all been waiting for! Answered by more cliffhangers 🙃

Just kidding. Sort of. Carry on 😘

_____________

Lisa left Jisoo's bride room when they finally signaled for the wedding to start. She averted her eyes when a lone tear had fallen from Jisoo's eyes and Jisoo hastily wiped it away. She knew Jisoo hated to cry and Lisa chose to give her some space. They usually teased each other, their relationship was based on that but this was not the time. When it counted, they were there for each other with no teasing judgement and Lisa knew Jisoo needed to just let it out for once.

"You'll get her back Jisoo." Lisa said one last time. "If it's the last thing we do, we'll get Rosie back for you from Australia and you'll live happily ever after."

Jisoo just nodded and choked down the rest of her tears.

Jisoo was led to the front, to where she needed to come out and meet Haein in the middle so they could walk down the aisle together.

Lisa started running then, away from the ceremony and into the entrance hall, trying to find Jennie. She had to find out if their plan had worked yet before Jisoo was forced to say I do. They were cutting it too close. If Jennie succeeded she would object to the wedding herself if need be. Even if it got her thrown in jail when they found out she was Thai. Jennie would probably be pissed but Lisa had faith they'd get her out or something and she really hated to see her friends so miserable.

She ran into a lady in the hallway who was probably late to the wedding. The lady stopped her.

"Excuse me? Is this the Jung-Kim wedding?"

Lisa just nodded, about to run again, she was wasting time.

"Oh good. I thought I was lost. Not to mention this place is a maze. These Chaebols really go all out don't they? The place is impressive, it's huge, and everything from the entrance to the hallways are decorated with flowers. I could only wish for a wedding like this."

"Right, um—if you'll excuse me." Lisa said hastily, trying not to run now so she didn't seem suspicious and hoping her Korean wasn't so affected with her accent. She'd been teasing Rosie about her accent so much during their trip to Jisoo's place that Jennie even said Lisa's accent now sounded like a mix of Aussie, Korean, and Thai. She hoped it was enough to leave her undetected.

"Wait, miss."

Lisa cursed under her breath. She needed to go. Now. She tried smiling as politely as she could.

"Mhm?" Lisa asked the lady.

"Is there any chance you know where the foyer is? I kind of got turned around."

Lisa clenched her teeth for not being able to shake this lady but she had been going that way anyway because that's the last place the admiral had been so she shrugged, having no other choice.

"Thank you."

They were almost to the entrance of the foyer when she was met with several guns to the face.

Bambam was bound and gagged on the floor surrounded by men in black suits. It was clear they weren't soldiers.

The woman that had been beside her, that asked for directions addressed Lisa.

"Where is my ungrateful daughter? I need her brain for our little project."

Aeri had figured out where they were after the admiral made the call to several officers to ask about the possible bomb development. One particular general had contacted her immediately.

Lisa's heart dropped. She knew this must be Jennie's mom. She had somehow found them. Her demeanor had completely changed. She looked like a harmless albeit very annoying lady a second ago and now she was smirking a little too cruelly for Lisa's taste and being entirely too demanding. She seemed like she changed into different person from one second to the next.

"Daughter?" Lisa asked, eyeing everyone and counting how many weapons were being pointed at her. She could have disarmed two or three of them easily. She would have tried already, if it wasn't for the fact one of them was pointing a gun to Bambam's head and as good as she was she knew she couldn't get to him in time before they shot him. "What daughter? I don't know you."

"Scarlett Kim." The woman said smirking. "You should be kinder to me you know, considering you're dating my child." Aeri knew about them because of Kim Chul. He had given her regular updates when his base soldiers found Jennie's camp in Kumi after that deserter escaped.

Aeri knew there was no mistaking the girl in front of her was Lisa. She was young but she had an air of authority and confidence about her. Clearly she was the supposed Lieutenant that was leading them all.

She had a barely there hint of a Thai accent and despite several guns being pointed at her she didn't even flinch, just like Kim Chul had reported to her before he died. He even told her the Thai's had given her a nickname, the military princess. Aeri was about to test that theory.

"I'd really love to say it was nice to meet you Ms. Kim, but you're pointing guns at me right now." Lisa retorted sarcastically. She was so annoyed that of all the people she met in that hallway it had to be her. She had literally just helped Jennie's mother without knowing it. Not that it was her fault, they looked nothing alike. She couldn't have suspected. Unlike Jennie's father who had a gross perversion of Jennie's looks so she had recognized him right away. This woman had nothing of Jennie's. "It's not exactly a pleasant way to meet my future mother in law for the first time is it?"

Aeri smirked. "Can you blame me? My daughter is sleeping with the enemy. I'm just trying to protect her."

"If you wanted to protect her you would have taken her far away from your piece of shit husband and never came back, but she had to do it herself instead. She had to run away on her own because her mother wouldn't help her and her father beat her. Don't worry though, I took care of him and protected her for you. He won't be coming back. I'm sure he's rotting in hell after what I did to him." Lisa couldn't help but spew, taunting her despite the many guns being directed at her.

She really was awfully irrational when it came to Jennie. She never could think straight. She acted on her emotions rather than thinking clearly like she normally would. She could see Bambam shake his head at her imperceptibly and she knew he was warning her to cut it out before she got herself killed. Lisa really didn't care but she should have worried more about Bambam. The wave of anger had been a little too overwhelming though. Her protective instinct over Jennie wouldn't let her shut up.

Aeri only laughed.

"I suppose I should thank you for getting rid of him then. Didn't need him anymore. Anyway, my daughter. Where is she? Her, I do need now."

"I don't know where she is." Lisa shrugged. It was true, she really didn't know what part of the building she had been in but she needed to stall at the very least.

"Let's go find her then." Aeri said. "Grab her."

Despite the odds stacked against her, Lisa wouldn't just go willingly. She knew they would end up taking her anyway considering they had Bambam held hostage but Lisa wasn't Lisa if she didn't go down without a fight and at least hurt them in the process.

She dodged the first agent and punched him in the throat. Then proceeded to spin on her heel as she kicked the next guy, grabbing him by the shoulders right after he doubled over in pain and driving her knee into his gut several times. She was grabbed from behind and she threw an elbow and broke a nose. She sparred with the next one and blocked his blows and eventually landed a punch to his face before she heard the distinct click of a gun and she finally stopped.

She raised her hands up in surrender. Knowing they were threatening to shoot Bambam.

"Sorry boys. Can't waste a good fight can I?" Lisa asked with a smirk on her face as the agents she dropped groaned and bled. She let the rest of them put her hands behind her back and cuff her.

Aeri had to admit she had been a little impressed at the display, Lisa was the military princess after all. She could have used her if she had gotten her hands on her when Lisa was younger. Manipulated her like she had Jennie. She sighed at the waste of talent. Even Jennie, who at least obeyed them disappointed her in the end because of her soft heart, they could have been a great team otherwise.

Lisa let them lead her away and thankfully they saw no need to keep Bambam hostage now that they had her so they left him behind. They probably thought they could come back for him considering he was still cuffed and bound. Lisa shot him a wink and he nodded. She knew he was probably smirking under that gag.

Bambam knew her handcuff tricks. He would get out of it in no time.

__________

"I—" Jisoo started, swallowing the frog in her throat. She couldn't get the words out. She didn't know how Haein had done it. "I—"

Do. All she had to say was do. She tried again.

"I—d"

_________

Lisa was counting the seconds in her head, Bambam was good at picking locks by now, not as good as her of course or Jennie apparently, but he was fast. She knew it would take him about forty five seconds on each side to get out of them. As soon as he freed himself Lisa could make her move on the agents dragging her. She just needed to give him time to get out of his binds so they didn't use him against her.

Lisa hoped they didn't run into Jennie as her mother and the agents dragged her in, but of course, Jennie was coming out of a room with the admiral not even thirty seconds in to their search. She almost facepalmed at their luck because this place really was a maze.

"Run baby!" Lisa shouted as soon as she saw her.

Jennie looked to see Lisa being held by a bunch of men in suits. Then she saw her mother and Jennie's heart dropped. She made a hasty plan.

"The admiral already has the bomb. We've made a deal. You're too late, let her go." Jennie said as bravely as she could.

The guns were suddenly raised at them.

"Admiral Jung, if you don't want to die I'm going to need you to run because I probably just handed you a death sentence." Jennie murmured under her breath.

He didn't listen though. "What is this?"

"That's my mother Admiral! That's Scarlett Kim. The chemist." Jennie pleaded again. After her break down in the room the admiral sort of bought the fact she knew her but decided they could talk about the whole affair later because there were too many important people to tend to at the wedding.

Jennie knew he hadn't been entirely convinced of the bomb. She realized it was because he had always been an officer, he'd never been in combat. He had no clue so she had followed him out, refusing to give up.

"At ease! Don't you know who I am? Put your guns down!" He barked again defiantly.

Jennie almost shoved him. He was going to get himself killed because he was so entitled and used to people following his every commands.

"Admiral Jung of course." Aeri answered. "General Yu sends his regards. He wanted me to tell you that you did well, trying to steal his glory to win this war with my research but unfortunately, General Yu wants to be president and he's spent millions of his budget to fund my bomb. So obviously, he can't let you live now that you know about it. He can't let anyone else take credit for his hard work." Aeri said sarcastically.

"You can't kill me. Not without facing consequences. I'm an admiral."

"I can when there's a dozen planes disguised as Thai ones coming for this building right now. You'll just be one of a pile of bodies. Shoot him." Aeri ordered her men.

Admiral Jung dropped as a dozen shots were fired at him.

They heard the sounds of bomber planes a second later.

"Baby, please run." Lisa shouted desperately.

"If you want to save your little girlfriend and your friends you'll come with me." Aeri told Jennie. "I'll let her go."

Jennie knew her mother would just go back on her word again but another man put a gun to the back of Lisa's head and Jennie couldn't risk it, they had no reason to keep Lisa alive.

"Let her go first." Jennie shouted.

"You have no grounds to make demands." Aeri spat back.

"Oh no? Then why don't you just shoot me then?" Jennie threatened, taking a step forward.

The guns clicked again and aimed at her.

"Stop! Stop!!" Aeri shouted. Jennie smirked.

"Let her go."

Aeri nodded at her men to release Lisa. They shoved Lisa forward harshly. She stumbled to the ground and fell, losing her balance.

Jennie walked forward and let them take her, needing to distract them enough before they shot Lisa now that she had been let go.

"No baby. Don't do this." Lisa said as she picked herself up, frantically trying to get out of the cuffs.

"It's okay love." Jennie said as they grabbed her and cuffed her too. They didn't seem to feel the need to put her hands behind her back though, cuffing her from the front and dragging her away. Jennie figured they assumed she wasn't a threat. "You'll just come save me. My hero. Do what you do best and save the world but you have to stay safe first for that to happen so promise me you won't get hurt." Jennie demanded.

Lisa was almost out of the cuffs. She got up and started running towards Jennie as soon as she got out of them and the guns were pointed at her again immediately. Jennie's scream was the only thing that stopped her.

"You promised Lili! You promised to not get hurt and you promised to do what I say so do what I fucking say and stay alive so you can save me!" Jennie screamed with such force of anger, knowing this was the only way to get through to Lisa, by pointing that out. "You can't save me if you're dead!"

Now that Aeri had Jennie she had no reason to keep Lisa alive so she ordered them again.

"Shoot her too."

Lisa dove behind a jut in the wall as the shots rang out around her.

"No!" Jennie screamed. She disarmed an agent and did the exact same thing Lisa had done when Bambam had almost killed them and thought they were the enemy. Except Jennie was threatening her mother with a gun instead of how Lisa threatened Bambam with a knife.

She put the gun to her head, a little awkwardly because of the cuffs and threatened her mother. "Let her go or I'll shoot myself."

Aeri laughed, not thinking she was serious.

Jennie clicked the safety off and pulled the trigger.

She had aimed for her arm, lightly grazing it so her mother knew she was serious and then putting it back to her head to prove her point. She saw her mother scowl as she watched the blood deep out.

The agents stopped shooting at Lisa and grabbed Jennie again, taking the gun away and considering Jennie was still in cuffs it was easy for them.

It gave Lisa enough time to get to better cover, which is all Jennie had wanted in the first place.

"You'll find me baby. I need you to stay safe first and make a plan. You need to warn them about the bombs coming! All our friends are in there." Jennie shouted as they dragged her. "I'll be okay! You'll save me like you always do but I need you to save them first."

Aeri sent two agents after Lisa while the rest took Jennie away.

Lisa couldn't help but keep crying as she let them take Jennie. Fighting the agents that came after her and shooting them both in the head in anger as soon as she took the first one's gun away.

She needed to warn her friends first but then she would follow right behind.

"I'm coming baby." Lisa said as she sprinted. "I'll do what you say and then I'm coming."

__________

Jisoo tried again. She felt a reassuring squeeze from Haein. She knew he was just telling her he was there with her. They were in the same boat. That they were both in so much pain because they were betraying the women they both loved.

Jisoo took in a shaky breath.

"I—"

"RUN!" They heard a shout. Jisoo looked to the source of it, a little startled. "Air strike!"

Suddenly the building rattled. Jisoo ducked as brick and mortar rained on them. Haein let go of her left hand but dragged her by the right hand and started running with her.

"What the hell is happening?" He shouted as he pulled Jisoo behind him and all of their guests started screaming and shouting and running out.

"I don't know but honestly, I might kiss whoever did this." Jisoo shouted back, almost smiling despite the fact she was worried about her friends. Despite the fact half the building was taken out and there were now broken bodies and blood everywhere. She didn't even know where they had been sitting. She hoped they were on the left side because the right side of the building was almost gone.

Jackson got to Jisoo first. He had been looking around the outside of the building to find its power source so he could sabotage it when he saw the planes coming at them. He ran inside to warn them.

He had cursed himself for not recognizing the sounds of them sooner. He hadn't even heard them because he had been too focused on trying to find Bambam or trying to delay the wedding that by the time he looked up and noticed them he was too late. He heard the whistle of the bomb and then ran inside to find his people because a second wave was coming.

"Jackson? Where is everyone?" Jisoo asked. "That was Lisa shouting for us to run wasn't it?"

"I don't know. I took over and spread them out, come on, we gotta get you out of here! There's six more coming! They'll try to get themselves out now that we're hit!"

Jackson ran with Jisoo and Haein just as the next round of bombs dropped.

___________

Lisa felt disoriented. She'd been flown into the wall from the force of the blast. She had barely made it to the hall where the ceremony was being held to shout for everyone to run when it happened.

She had obviously been too late. She had only succeeded in getting everyone's attention right before it happened.

She got up shakily, covered in dust. Her eyes stung from the amount of cement in it, she could hardly see.

Another bomb dropped and she was knocked down again. The dust was in her lungs now. She coughed violently.

She felt hands on her, picking her up. There was a ringing in her ear but she could sort of hear them shouting. It was muffled.

"Lieutenant!"

The hands helped pick her up and they threw her right arm over their shoulder so they could help her walk.

The ringing in her ear got louder and she almost couldn't hear either for a second.

She felt another body press to the other side of her, looping her arm around them too.

She was led out of the building.

The bombs were relentless. Dropping around them incessantly.

"Jennie." Lisa choked out as soon as they were outside and she pulled enough air in her lungs to be able to speak. She'd been choking too hard from all the debris after getting a lung full of it to make any sounds. "She's got Jennie."

"Who?"

Lisa finally recognized Lucas' voice to her right.

"Her mom? She took her?" Bambam was apparently the other body to her left. He had managed to get out of the cuffs and as soon as he had started sprinting to either find Lisa to help disarm the agents or Jennie to get her to hide. He had made it to the hall where the ceremony was being held just as the bombs dropped.

They helped Lisa sit down on the curb and then Lisa heard a ripping sound.

"Water. We need water!" Bambam shouted. Apparently someone actually had a bottle of water because the next second Lisa knew her face was being wiped by some kind of wet rag. She assumed it was probably one of their shirts.

Her eyes stung. They burned like crazy but she could finally see. Bambam handed her the water to drink.

"Our guys? What happened to our guys? And Jisoo, where is she? What's the head count?" Lisa asked in rapid succession.

"I've already sent Wooyoung to help round them up. They've got a team sifting through everyone. I think we might all be okay though."

Just then Jackson and Jisoo and Haein found them outside.

Lisa breathed a sigh of relief. Jisoo was okay. She had worried about her the most because the blast was in the front right half of the building.

Another bomb dropped.

"Fuck! What the hell!" Jisoo shouted.

"We have to get out of here." Lisa said hoarsely, trying to get up. "They're going to think we did this. You guys aren't safe."

Wooyoung came out helping a couple more of their soldiers, they were both limping.

The twin came out after that with mostly the rest of their squad. Half of them were as blind as Lisa had been and the other half seemed to be relatively okay, only having suffered deep cuts and probably concussions.

Lisa freaked out about the twin for a second when she saw him because he was drenched in blood, covered from head to toe in it but she realized belatedly that probably none of it was his because he was walking fine for the most part. Though he looked disoriented.

"Is this everyone?" Bambam asked them.

"We're missing two." Lisa said as she quickly counted them all.

Wooyoung shook his head. "They're gone." He had found their bodies practically ripped in two. He had almost thrown up when he saw them. This was the second time he'd seen broken bodies like that from an air strike and he hadn't really recovered from seeing the other twin's impaled body on that fence or the way Nichkhun couldn't breathe because of the way he landed and his body was twisted. He still woke up with nightmares about it and their little doctor had to keep using sedatives on him just so he could sleep.

Lisa almost cried again for losing two more people but she needed to get them out of there. They could already hear the second round of the first set of bomber planes circling back and the helicopters that were probably bringing Korean soldiers as reinforcements in the distance.

"This is about to turn into a war zone and none of us have the equipment to fight them. We need to get a vehicle." Lisa coughed out again. She almost threw up that time, the debris had been too much. "I can hot wire one to start, find a big one."

"There's no need for that." Haein interjected. "Just use the suv's we were going to use for the wedding party. They were going to take us to the reception hall. I'll just kick out the drivers."

Jisoo was a little surprised Haein hadn't said anything about her friends being Thai and that he was willing to help. Sure he was a nice guy but he was also in the military and his father was an admiral. She thought he might end up calling for back up or something while they discussed everything. She thought he might just have been disoriented from the bombs to say anything.

"You'll let us take them? What about you?" Jisoo asked. "You're technically a civilian now, you don't have to fight."

"I have to find my father still. I saw my mom make it out but I haven't see him ever since the wedding started."

Lisa swallowed the lump in her throat before speaking.

"Haein."

Haein looked at her, surprised she even knew his name.

"I'm sorry, but your father is dead."

"What?" He asked, disbelieving.

"Some General Yu did all of this. They shot your father so he wouldn't know about—well its a long story but basically there's a bomb everyone wants their hands on and General Yu commissioned it but your father also knows about it so they shot him because General Yu thinks he was trying to steal his bid for the presidency by stealing his bombs. He sent in the fighter planes disguised as Thai military planes to hide the fact he murdered him."

Haein paled. He may have hated how strict his father was, how he never let him have his freedom but he was still his father.

"He was killed because of me? Because of the bomb Jennie told me about?"

"Wait, how do you even know about that, or even know Jennie?" Jisoo asked curiously.

"There's no time. We have to go." Lisa said urgently. "Haein, you're coming with us."

"I have to check on my mother." He protested.

"You're in danger too now that you know about it. Jennie must have told you specifics. That man was after your father, who knows if he found out you also know about it. Look what they've done just to cover up the fact that they killed him. Most importantly, I need you to tell me everything you and Jennie talked about verbatim so I can go rescue her."

"Wait! Jennie's gone?" Jisoo shouted. She had thought maybe she had gone back to keep Rosie company once the wedding started.

"Her mom took her." Lisa said dejectedly. "She wouldn't let me come after her until I tried saving you guys and now she's long gone and I don't know where she might be. I need all the help I can get. Please Haein."

He just nodded and led them all to the suvs, kicking the drivers out.

They impossibly squeezed themselves in just as the reinforcements were dropped. They only actually made it out because Haein was driving the first one and Jisoo was driving the second one and the soldiers recognized them and let them all go, buying Haein's excuse that were all civilians and he needed to get them to the hospital.

That was probably the only good thing that came out of all those front page stories with pictures of them about their wedding. If they weren't famous before they definitely were now because pretty much every major newspaper in Seoul had wrote about them.

____________

Jennie only let them willingly take her until the bomb strike finally stopped before she tried to escape. She hadn't wanted her mother interfering with Lisa trying to rescue their friends. It was too dangerous.

The agents hadn't even noticed she was already out of her cuffs, she kept them loosely on her. Once the bombing died down Jennie made her move and once again she should have been surprised at how easily she could kill now.

She did the same thing she had done the last time they took her, disarmed an agent and then shot the driver. It was almost deja vu, but Jennie had thought hell, it worked the first time, might as well do it again.

The only problem was that this time when the suv flipped and she crawled out, her mother was waiting. They had been following close behind.

Jennie pointed the gun at her mother.

She wanted to pull the trigger but she couldn't. She was her mother. Her father had been one thing, it had been easy to throw all morals out the window because he had tortured her for years and Jennie had thought he had tortured and murdered the love of her life.

Her mother though, despite never intervening when her father tortured her, despite not batting an eye when he even used a hammer on her to break her bones, had never directly done anything to her besides just all around ignoring her.

Shoot to kill.

Lisa would tell her to shoot to kill but Jennie couldn't for the life of her pull the trigger.

The other agents from her mother's car were pointing guns at her too but her mother told them not to shoot.

Jennie figured they only hadn't rushed her yet because they were afraid she'd actually shoot her mother.

"I underestimated you Jennie." Aeri said.

"You always have." Jennie said defiantly. That was yet another thing she had picked up from Lisa. The bite of confidence Lisa always spoke with. Especially since she knew Lisa would just swell with pride any time Jennie did anything remotely impressive.

"So have you." Aeri smirked.

"Maybe it runs in the family." Jennie pointed out. She really had underestimated her mother. All those years she thought she was just a housewife with a blank look that catered to her father's whims. She had no idea she had the capacity to make a bomb. She supposed she should give herself a bit of a break, considering she was away at boarding school for most of her adult life.

Until the summer breaks came and so did the torture. That's probably why Jennie felt like summer was the worst season.

Aeri smirked at her comment, if only Jennie knew they weren't actually family. They weren't blood. She couldn't tell her that though, considering Jennie was pointing a gun at her. She might actually shoot if she realized she wasn't her biological mother.

"You'll want to come with me Jennie."

Jennie had been trying to discretely scan her surroundings, to see if there was any way to escape without getting shot.

"Yeah I definitely don't."

"Trust me. You do. Put the gun down and come to mommy."

That pissed Jennie off for some reason so she shot at an agent's leg as a warning shot, and he kneeled to the ground in pain, grabbing his leg and screaming.

Jennie almost called him a baby. Lisa had literally endured twenty times that kind of pain and hadn't even been close to being that dramatic. Even Rosie hadn't cried during her own surgery. Her father always said women were useless growing up but Jennie came to the conclusion that men were weak.

"I'm a good shot, mother. I can take them all out and apparently you don't want to shoot me so I think I'll leave now."

Jennie started backing up and the agents started rushing her but her mother shouted at them to stand down again.

Jennie started running but then her mother said something to make her blood turn cold and she froze.

"I know where they're staying, your little girlfriend and your Thai soldiers, I could have it bombed within minutes. As soon as they all make it there of course. That's if any of them survived my last air strike at that wedding."

"You're bluffing." Jennie said, now taking cover behind the flipped suv.

"It's a pretty big estate. I've got to say Jennie, I never expected you to hang out with that crowd. I always thought you despised us being wealthy but we look broke compared to that Chaebol. Kim is it? Jisoo right?"

Jennie didn't fall for it.

Aeri could see the doubt so she continued.

"It took probably half of the rest of my funding to bribe enough people to find the place. It seems your friend Jisoo values her privacy and that place is so secluded not even the contractors could find it again and most of them must have been paid so much they were loyal to her, but I finally found one that would talk."

"I still think you're bluffing."

"Thick woods surrounds it, she has acres of farmland and a ranch and she even has a lake. It's about twenty miles north east of Seoul right? You can only drive in so much because the wood is so thick and that's how your little friend wanted it so no one could find her. The guy I found told me how to get to it. Honestly, I should thank you. If you hadn't been at that wedding I would have never found it. I wouldn't have made the connection between you two."

Jennie paled. She described the place perfectly. She realized her mother wasn't bluffing.

"Don't worry, only I know where it is. Your friends are safe as long as you come with me."

Jennie finally, reluctantly put the gun down. She had no choice. She had to have faith that Lisa would go into hero mode like she usually does and come save her. Save everyone.

She watched her mother smirk. Jennie really couldn't get used to this new side of her. She'd known her over twenty years and had never, ever seen her act so confident and authoritarian.

___________

They drove to the edge of Jisoo's property, as far as they could with the vehicles and then hopped off.

Haein was confused. "Are we camping out in the woods or something? I thought we were going to your place to make a plan?"

Jisoo smirked. "We are, we just have a five mile hike first."

Jisoo's wedding dress was in tatters. Haien looked no better in his tux. The rest of the soldiers were wearing formal wear too and Jisoo almost wanted to laugh because everyone looked like they just came back from a zombie wedding or some kind of wedding massacre. Though she supposed it was. Their clothes were either dusty, ripped, or covered in blood.

Jisoo should probably check her mental health because they just escaped her wedding in which half of their guests died gruesomely—though most of them were really their parents guests. Military people, chairmen, board members, the media. She didn't even know if her parents had survived.

All Jisoo could think about was the fact she was about to see her chipmunk. She figured the fact she was in love with such a pure soul like Rosie would be enough for doctors to say she wasn't a complete sociopath considering she really could care less right now about all the people that died, or to even find out if her parents were okay.

Though she did feel a little bad for Haein considering his father was murdered but that also meant she probably didn't have to marry him anymore considering he was the heir to his company and his mother seemed to approve of a marriage with Youngro so he might actually call off the wedding now. She wanted to ask him but since his father had died literally just an hour ago even Jisoo figured it might not be the right time. Still, Jisoo almost skipped giddily to her estate to break the news to Rosie as the others followed.

She found Wondeok holding a crying Felix. Jisoo hadn't wanted her Oma to witness her fake wedding so despite her protests she stayed behind at Jisoo's request. Jisoo was so relieved she had forced her to do that now considering it got bombed.

Jisoo knew Felix was as emotional as Rosie so she figured he was crying because Rosie had probably been crying. She was probably locked up in their master bedroom right now doing just that.

Wondeok almost jumped out of her skin when she saw the state of them all.

Lisa almost laughed out loud because she knew Jisoo was about to tease Felix for crying and Wondeok was about two seconds from scolding them for being covered in blood.

"Stop crying! I'm not married dude." Jisoo said grinning at Felix and then running upstairs to find her chipmunk.

"Kim Jisoo! You're covered in blood! Why are you covered in blood?!" Wondeok said, for once not calling her turtle rabbit because she was worried.

"Literal bombs dropped! Ask them! Gotta find my Rosie!" Jisoo said as she ran up the stairs.

Felix started crying harder and Lisa smiled at him fondly before turning to Haein.

"Okay, let's get to work." Lisa told him.

Wondeok finally remembered why she had been holding Felix once the shock of all their states passed. The fact Jisoo had sprinted up the stairs obviously meant she wasn't hurt.

"Lisa honey, go to her." Wondeok said.

Lisa furrowed her brows. She really needed to rescue Jennie but Wondeok looked serious.

"She's not here." Felix choked out. "I think she ran away. Rosie's not here, I  went to get her mangoes and now I can't find her."

Lisa's eyes widened. "Damn it Rosie." She ran up the stairs but not before shouting back "BAM! Drill Haein so we can find my woman!"

"Got it Lieutenant!" Bambam yelled back.

Lisa cursed as she ran to find Jisoo. This was too much. First they lose Jennie and now Rosie too?

Lisa and Jisoo weren't known for their rationality when it came to their girls. Even Lisa knew that. This was going to be a shit show.

She found Jisoo in the master bedroom, reading a letter and sobbing. Lisa figured she just found out Rosie wasn't here. That letter must be from her.

Lisa didn't know what to do. Jisoo didn't cry and she has cried more for Rosie in the last week than she probably ever had in her life. Lisa wasn't necessarily a crier either, at least not in front of other people so she knew where Jisoo was coming from so it was a little scary to see.

"I didn't marry him chipmunk." Jisoo kept chanting to the letter. "I do. I do too."

Lisa pulled her into a hug. Jisoo didn't cry. Lisa and Jisoo never hugged except that one time that shouldn't never ever be mentioned out loud when they cuddled in the tent. Yet here they were, doing it again, for the second time that day.

"She's gone Lisa. She left to protect me and I don't know where she is and I need to tell her I didn't marry him!"

"She didn't say where she went?" Lisa asked.

"Maybe she did. Here, there's one for you and Jennie too! Maybe she told you and trusted you to not tell me. Hurry up and read it!"

Lisa's heart dropped at the mention of Jennie. They were wasting time. Lisa felt so torn right now. Jennie was the love of her life but Rosie was also practically her sister. Her family. She almost couldn't focus. She felt like she was being ripped in two right now.

Lisa read the letter and almost crumpled it in disappointment.

"She didn't say where she was but she said she had a plan."

Lisa handed it to Jisoo to read too.

"I have to find her! What if she gets caught?"

"Rosie is right though, we have to trust our women. They're not completely helpless are they?" Lisa asked, trying to convince herself too. Not that she thought Jennie was helpless, she just always had an irrational fear when it came to her if she was ever in danger. "I mean come on, they tamed us and we're both entirely too stubborn to listen to anyone except them. They can hold their own right?"

"I still have to find her."

"I know. I want you to find her too. So make a plan. You work on finding Rosie and I'll work on finding Jennie." Lisa said.

She knew Jisoo needed to find Rosie just as bad as Lisa needed to get to Jennie. They could never choose who to look for first. They needed to go for both of them.

"Lisa."

Lisa paused.

"I want to find Jennie too, you know that right? She's like my best friend. I know she's probably in much more danger but Rosie. My chipmunk, I can't let anything happen to her."

"I know. I know if it was the other way around I'd still feel like that too. I'm torn too, I don't want her caught either, but like you said. My Jennie, I can't let anything happen to her."
