*days pass* we have been in this damn place for God knows how long, Murphy laid on the gross couch with the gun in front of him, hell he already started to have a beard as I sat in the chair not saying anything. he rewinded the video again rewatching it over and over again, I got up and walked out of the room to the kitchen area before sighing as I touched my hair. I grabbed my knife from my pocket as I looked at the mental seeing that I could see myself in it, I grabbed a piece of hair before I sliced my knife through it. I did this throughout my whole head till it hit my shoulders. I touched it smiling a little as I tunked my knife back into my pants, i walked back in there seeing him now sitting up as the gunshot rang through on the screen
Phoneix- enough of this bullshit Murphy. *turns off the screen*
Murphy- hey I was watching that!
he looked at me with an irraited look till he saw my hair, he stood up walking to me as he touched it
Murphy- you cut it off?
Phoneix- it got in the way; this was the only way.
Murphy- it looks nice, I think I like it better than your long hair. fits you
I smiled at him as he nodded before walking back to the couch, he clicked back on the TV and let the video play as he rolled up into a ball with the yellow blanket and fell asleep. I rolled my eyes getting a drink before sitting in the chair watching the video. another few days passed, and we were still in this shit hole, Murphy stood next to me playing with this 8-ball as I was sitting in the chair drinking while the video played with Chris bringing Becca to meet Allie
Man- 2051, Becca meets Allie-
Becca- Chris, we've gotta get to work
Chris- we are working. Allie wanted it to be a surprise
Allie- Hello Becca

Allie- I did, you don't approve? as you know, I didn't think I needed an avatar

I looked at Murphy who was bouncing around the place without his shirt on making me chuckle as I shook my head
I turned my chair around, so I was facing away from the screen as I chugged down the rest of my drink sighing.
days went on like this, we were going mental with that stupid video playing over and over again. Murphy wasn't doing any better than me, but I was handling this better as i wasn't pouring wine on myself for no reason. today was just like any other day, I sat in the chair while Murphy stood in front of the TV
Becca- what is the root problem, Allie?
Allie- too many people
Murphy scuffed looking at the TV
Murphy- um, too many people?
Becca- too many people?
Murphy- ah, you certainly took care of that, didn't you?
Murphy held the alcohol bottle and threw it at the screen yelling as he did when it broke the screen, I moved out of the chair so fast when he did that looking at him in utter shock. I didn't say anything. I didn't know what to say. *skip a little more* Murphy held this camera as he looked into it with tears falling from his eye as he did, I just sat there not knowing what to say or do anymore
Murphy- 86 days, we are on our um last box of food so, *looks at me sighing* really never thought I'd miss the Ark this much but *looks back at the camera* anyways, Jaha, if you're seeing this that would indeed mean you're not dead, so *yells* screw you!!
he slammed the camera closed as he grabbed the gun that was laying between his legs making me slightly concerned as I looked at him
Phoneix- *just above a whisper* murphy, what are you doing?
he clicked the gun and pressed it to his chin closing his eyes
Phoneix- murphy! stop it! what are you doing?! put the fucking gun down!
my eyes were already filling with tears as I watched my boyfriend put the gun to his head, I felt my body heat up as the anxiety filled my body at the mere thought of him killing himself.
Phoneix- murphy, please! I can't lose you, remember?! we said we wouldn't die! you promised me that! you have to keep that promise! *Voice cracks as tears fall down*
he was shaking and breathing heavily as tears were falling down his face, he dropped the gun as he put his head in his hands when I ran to him pulling his head to my chest as he sobbed holding onto my arms
Phoneix- shh it's okay, I'm right here. we will figure this out, okay? *voice cracks* I will make sure of it
we than heard clanging making both our heads turn to the stairs as he stood up along with me, the voice came through saying "containment door released" making us both run to the stairs. we ran to it seeing the door still closed but I pushed on it causing it to open showing us the bright light from the outside making me fill with happiness that we weren't stuck here anymore. we walked down the steps slowly as we heard the drone again making us look at it, with no other thoughts in mind. we chased after it as it led us somewhere.
Murphy- wait, get back here! *to the drone*
we ran after it through this forest as Murphy tripped making me turn and grab his arm before pulling him with me as we chased the drone, not wanting to lose sight of it as we made it to this huge plot of land. I let go of Murphy's arm as we caught our breath seeing this mansion in front of us, I started running to it before Murphy as he caught up. we reached these two doors as we pushed them open causing Murphy to hit the ground as I look around
Jaha- John, Phoneix. there you two are
we turned our heads to see Jaha walking towards, I was angry. this man fucking left us to dust while he was here.
Murphy- Jaha?
Jaha- welcome, we have so much to talk about and so little time
Murphy stood up as I glared at Jaha
Jaha- I found out, The City of Light is real.
Murphy- you left us there!
he ran at Jaha trying to punch him as I watched not saying anything as Jaha catch Murphy making me step forward about to defend my boyfriend, but Jaha put his hand out stopping me as he picked him up
Phoneix- what are you doing?
Jaha- helping him. come.
I followed Jaha as he began to walk down the halls, I didn't say anything again as I kept looking towards Murphy who was passed out
Jaha- how are you still okay?
Phoneix- I kept my sanity, he lost it.
Jaha- proud of you for that.
I nodded as he walked through this door before looking at me
Jaha- I'm going to get him cleaned up, there's a bathroom with a shower for you to wash up.
Phoneix- thanks I guess
I walked through the door seeing everything, there was a shower, sink and even a toilet as I smiled to myself. I turned on the water before stripping my clothes as I stepped inside feeling the warm water hit my face and chest as I sighed. I began to wash my hair and body as much as I could not giving a single fuck what anyone had to say at this given moment. I heard the door open making me turn my head to see this woman as I covered myself
Woman- don't worry, only hear to wash your clothes and give you fresh ones.
she picked up my dirty pile of clothes as I looked at her with wide eyes
Phoneix- please leave the jacket! *Panic slightly*
she looked at me smiling softly as I kept myself covered
Woman- I will leave it with your fresh clothes, and wash the rest
she walked out of there not giving me a second thought as I sighed sticking my face under the water. I finished up and put on the fresh clothes she gave me which was a pair of pants and a nice shirt along with Murphy's jacket, I looked at myself in the mirror seeing my freshly clean face as I touched it. I opened the door seeing Jaha waiting for me
Jaha- come, rest. John is on the sofa
I nodded following him as he brought me to the place where Murphy was, I smiled seeing him all freshly cleaned and in new clothes as I sat at the edge of the sofa
Jaha- you can rest of the sofa by his if you wish
Phoneix- I'm fine here. thanks.
he nodded walking away as I moved to lay next to Murphy taking a deep breath before closing my eyes, this is the moment I have been longing for. peace.
