Ever since the incident phoenix has been leaving me be, except giving me dirty looks from across the hall, I mean I bet she's Jealous but I was here first, I knew Bradley before she could even walk.
That night at the bar Bradley held me all night and we danced to his favourite song
"Still got it!" He shouted
"You sure?" I replied laughing and we twisted and turned on the dance floor. After all that we were tired so decided to sit down and enjoy refreshments from the bar, he lent his head on my shoulder as I looked around, just as my eyes skimmed the room I saw phoenix giving me a horrible glare
"Shit looks like she could kill" Bradley turned his head towards me
"She's too much of a pussy to kill, probably could kill with her looks though" I said confidently
Bradley laughed "I think your right my love" he hugged me.
I was sat in the meeting room playing with my nails as the instructor blabbered on about how the last mission was a fail, when suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder
"I would pay attention if I were you" the voice sounded familiar but I wasn't quite sure who had spoke it
"Uhm" I turned around to see my father sat next to me
"Dad! Jesus Christ"
"Always gets you"
"What are you doing here?" I asked
"That man over there invited me," my dad smiled "thats my cue! Bye sweetie!"
"This is Pete Mitchell also known as 'Maverick' he piloted here over 25 years ago!" The instructor glanced at me "and over there is his daughter, Amy Mitchell"
"Fucking hell" I whispered burying my face in my hands.
