After Arjun's encounter with Drupad and Drupad's capture, the kingdom got divided into two parts... Dakshin Panchal and Kampilya... Dakshin Panchal was maintained and ruled by Ashwatthama, the son of Guru Drona while Kampilya was ruled by Drupad...
