we were still walking by the time the sun had come up. Finn was up front, I was behind him, then went Bellamy, then Murphy and that chick. I had been being forced to tell which direction to go in ever since we left the station, I know helping them should be a good thing, but I don't care to help people that could care less if I'm dead or alive.
Bellamy- alrighty right, Phoneix. where to now?
I didn't say anything which caused Finn to look at me hitting my arm as I rolled my eyes, Murphy spoke up
Murphy- why don't you say we lose these first, huh? *referring to the zip ties*
Bellamy- no, Phoneix again. where to?
Murphy- if we get attacked, we have nothing to defend ourselves with.
Bellamy- I don't care
I turned to Bellamy since we had stopped as I scuffed
Phoneix- and I don't care to help you, how about that hm?
he looked at me as did the others
Bellamy- what did you say?
Phoneix- what are you deaf now? I said I don't care to help anyone. for the record I never said I was going to, dipshit decided it for me
Bellamy- well if you help than you won't die or have to see our people die because you wanted to be selfish
Phoneix- only being selfish since "our people" tried to kill me and you included. so don't blame me for not wanting to help your asses
Murphy looked at me shaking his head. Finn walked over and cut off Murphy's zip ties before walking to me and doing the same than started to walk off again
Murphy- thank you.
I rolled my eyes as I was moving my wrist, Bellamy walked over to Finn as we stayed back.
Murphy- what the hell are you trying to do?
I looked at him with a blank stare as I was already getting irrated by him ever since we got to the dropship
Phoneix- what are you even talking about, Murphy?
Murphy- I'm trying to keep us alive here and you just seem to not care. last time I checked you were saying how you didn't want to die.
Phoneix- yeah i don't but you call this keeping us alive? you're trying to be in control isn't keeping us alive Murphy. not to mention they did try to fucking kill us and still try to every time we are with them.
Murphy- are you ever going to let that go?!
Phoneix- no! I won't!
I never yelled at him not once, it kind of shocked me as I didn't expect myself to even do it. his face showed it all, it was a mix of emotions written all over it.
Phoenix- you can forget what they did to you and me all you want, that's fine. but I won't. if I have to be "nice" to them to survive then so be it. also, don't expect me to go along with every little choice you make just because you are "trying to keep us alive". I can make my own choices; I don't need you to do that for me.
I walked ahead of Murphy as we started to catch up with Bellamy and Finn, he jogged past me to be next to Bellamy asking the dumbest question he could have ever asked
Murphy- so do I get a gun now?
not anything surprising, Bellamy shoved him forward making me chuckle slightly as I jogged to catch up being slightly next to Bellamy who looked at me than looked forward
Bellamy- what you want one now too?
Phoneix- nope I'm good actually. I rather die from grounders than touch one of your guns.
he chuckled at my response before we continued to walk. as we get closer, I notice where we are
Phoneix- everybody, get down, down!
I grab Finn's jacket yacking him down as Murphy does the same to Bellamy. I let out a shaky breath as I look at everything remembering it all
Phoenix- this is it.
Murphy looks at me than at Bellamy
Murphy- told you she'd find it.
Bellamy uses his scope on his gun to look closer
Bellamy- I see nothing but Grounders
Finn does the same taking the guy's gun so he could look through the scope
Bellamy- our people aren't here
Finn- wait a minute. they got stuff from our dropship
Bellamy- so maybe they know where our friends are
I look at them rolling my eyes as I sigh
Phoneix- yeah or maybe they killed them already
Bellamy looked at me with a head shake before looking back at the scope
Finn- son of a bitch
Bellamy- what is it?
Finn- the guy with one eye, around his neck
Bellamy- what am I looking at?
Finn- he's got Clarke's watch
Bellamy and Finn look at each other
Phoneix- of course he knows his own mistress's watch.
Finn looked at me ignoring me before looking back through the scope
Finn- it was her father's
Bellamy- she wouldn't give that up without a fight
I look around sighing as I decide to do something that will most likely benefit Murphy and I in the end
Phoneix- neither will we.
Murphy looked at me kind of shocked by I just shrugged it off
Bellamy- okay, Finn you're with me. you two, stay here, out of sight. if this thing goes south, take out the other Grounders. but don't shoot the Grounder with the water. copy?
Guy- copy
Girl- cope. what about them?
Bellamy looks at Murphy and I, I was half laying on my side on the ground
Murphy- yeah, do I get a gun now?
Bellamy- no but your girlfriend gets something like that. Phoneix, you're coming with us.
I nod standing crouching with Finn as Murphy stops us
Murphy- whoa whoa what about me?
Phoneix- *looks at him* just stay here and don't fuck this up for them, got it?
I smirked to him as he shook his head before we begun to walk away. I get told to go behind this tree and lightly tap some stones together so that's what I do. I was nervous to say the least, but I did it anyways, I waited till I heard footsteps before I moved out of my stop so the Grounder wouldn't see me. when the guy had his back to the tree Bellamy came out and hit him in the face with his gun knocking him down. we jog to him as Bellamy had his hand on the dudes shoulder an Finn ripped off the watch from his neck
Bellamy- we need to take him somewhere quiet
Finn- I know just the place.
they pick him up as I follow looking around to make sure no one saw us. we went back to our stop and grabbed the others before we went all the way to the hidden bucker in the ground as we climbed down, Bellamy and Finn tied the Grounder to a chair as they begun to try to get him to talk. I stayed by the ladder with Murphy as the other two were off to the side watching this go down
Bellamy- we're going to do this again and this time, you're going to stop screwing with us. where did you find this?
Grounder- I told you. I found it outside your camp.
Finn- he's lying. she would never take it off voluntarily
Bellamy- I know
Finn grabs the watch and puts it in the Grounder's beaten-up face
Finn- where is the girl who was wearing this watch?
Grounder- I never saw a girl
Murphy- another lie. maybe you should stop asking him nicely *cuts off*
Bellamy- shut up, Murphy
I bite back my laughter as Murphy looked at me sitting down
Murphy- it's not funny
Phoneix- oh trust me, it's really funny.
I look back at Bellamy and Finn as Murphy just smirks at me
Bellamy- where are our friends? you took them. we know you did. just tell us where
Finn pulled out his gun as I looked at him kind of concerned
Finn- murphy's right. we're wasting time
Finn hit him in the face with a gun as I jump slightly, I hated this.
Finn- answer the question!
Bellamy- hey hey!
I looked away not liking the idea of seeing this man get tortured as I was in his spot not too long ago
Finn- where's the girl who was wearing this watch?!
Bellamy- hey, finn stop! you don't wanna do this, trust me. there are some lines, you can't uncross
I turned my head as I thought Finn was going to stop when Bellamy moved back but no he started beating the guy with the gun again
Finn- where's Clarke?! where is she?! where is *cuts off*
Bellamy- Finn!
Finn- back off!
Finn shoved back Bellamy pointing the gun at him
I moved forward a little trying to figure out if I should stop this or not, but Murphy put his arm out stopping me as I looked down at him
Murphy- you step in, it's a 99% chance he shots you.
I nod knowing he's right as I stop trying to move forward as just watch the scene unfold
Bellamy- put down the gun, Finn.
he didn't listen so I sighed realizing I should give this a try
Phoneix- Finn, put the gun down already! he isn't who you should be pulling a gun on!
Finn looked at me than at Bellamy turned the gun to the Grounder making sure it was loaded before pointing it at his head
Phoneix- not what I meant but that works.
Bellamy looked at me with a 'wtf' face as I just shrugged. Finn looked at the grounder
Finn- three seconds! two! one.
Grounder- okay!
I was shocked to be honest; I didn't expect him to actually say anything
Grounder- I'll tell you. your friends are east of here. the village where we take our prisoners of war
Finn- east where? how do we get to them?
Grounder- I can drew you a map but you should hurry, soon they'll outlive their usefulness
Finn put down the gun but didn't move away from the guy
Finn- get him something to draw a map on
the girl brought over this paper for him to draw on as Murphy moved over to Bellamy
Murphy- you thought I was the crazy one, huh?
Murphy moved away from him as I just moved over to Bellamy looking at me
Bellamy- how do you handle him when he acts like this?
Phoneix- I'm no better. I do know that what he is doing is his way of protecting me, it's just not the best way
Bellamy cracked a small smile as I returned one tapping his shoulder as Murphy just gave us a weird look, but I didn't say a word and just waited for the grounder to finish the drawing. Once he was done, we all looked at it realizing where they were
Bellamy- gather up your gear. we're leaving
Finn does as told as one of guys speak up
Guy- what about him?
Bellamy- for now, we leave him. we'll deal with him when we're done
Murphy- what if he escapes? he knows where we're going
Bellamy- we're not killing him.
Murphy- I'm not seeing another option here. If we don't take care of him now, this is going to blow back on us, and you know that
Bellamy- he's unarmed, Murphy
Murphy- he's a grounder
Murphy looked at me than the other two
Murphy- you two, come on tell him
Girl- I don't know
Murphy- you don't know what? he's going to tell his people everything. we're as good as dead our friends too. Phoneix, back me up here
Phoneix- he has a point. unarmed or not if he breaks out and runs out of here, we are screwed.
Murphy- exactly so the only other way is for him to die *moves towards the Grounder*
Bellamy chimed in
Bellamy- look, we're not doing this. end of discussion. you want him, you go through me Murphy.
he moved in front of Murphy as we just watched not saying anything
Murphy- what happened to you huh? you're talking like you never killed a Grounder before.
Bellamy- that was in battle, this would be an execution - *cuts off*
we heard a gunshot making us jump as we turn to see Finn had shot the Grounder, I was shocked to say the least
Finn- let's get moving.
Finn walked out as I followed with Murphy behind, one by one the others followed. I jogged to Finn's side who looked over at me than back ahead
Phoneix- good job, spacewalker.
he looked at me with a slight smirk before looking forward, maybe letting go of some things is good. but holding grudges that's something i will do till the day I die.
