As the night rose the sun was still up in the demon world. The maids and servants were all a buzz for some reason.
"Did you hear?" whisper
"Did he really?" whisper
"His own son?" whisper
"Why though?" whisper
"He got rid of Lucy too?" whisper
Whispers and whispers from maids to maids and butlers to butlers with servants to servants butting in at times. The maid Charlotte was biting her nails nervously waiting for Raphael to come out of the master's office. When he did she crowded him.
"Where is the young master." he didn't say anything and looked away from her "Well spit it out where is he! Where is the boy!" she shouted in distress.
"I don't know! He won't say!" Raphael shouted back.
"Oh dear this can't be the master has been upset hundreds of times but has never sent him away like that!" she exclaimed in horror.
"It was a decioussen he made whilst drunk. He doesn't regret it... he is the master's only son and he couldn't send him somewhere dangerous." Raphael said trying to convince Charlotte and himself that is the truth.
"Don't be so sure the mistress is showing signs of pregnancy..." Charlotte whispered this in Raphael's ear; he was wide eyed.
'Could this be why he sent (Y/n) away cus the mistress would provide another heir... shit!' Raphael thought nervously.
"How did you come to find this out." he asked the maid.
"She has had lots of morning sickness lately and is asking for strange food combinations." she continued to whisper as they walked.
"How many others know about this?" Raphael opened his pocket and watched the check the time as they turned the corner.
"Only a few maids. Mistress will most likely announce her pregnancy in the next few days." she said, putting a finger to her chin.
"Why is it you think that?" he asked, putting his watch back in its proper pocket.
"She asked a friend of mine, one of the maids , to see what type of dresses were in season and popular for an event and she would like it ready in the next few days." she explained in a hushed tone.
"I see... thank you Mrs. Charlotte you may go on with the rest of your duties." Raphael thanked her as she left. Deep down he was still nervous it would take a year to find out the gender of the child. If the new baby is male the master will most likely make an excuse for the young master to stay away. If the baby is female he will most likely bring the young master back from wherever he sent him.
"I hope he is doing alright... There's nothing much we can do but hope for his safe return..." Raphael whispered as he went to do his duties.
"Good morning everyone!" Iruma shouted, opening the window letting the light in.
"Raphael no I'll take my bread buttered..." (Y/n) whispered, moving his head under the pillow.
"We don't have bread!... or butter!" Iruma smiled, throwing some clothes on and shoes on.
"(Y/n) you need to wake up and help Iruma at the store." Lucy shook (Y/n) awake. (Y/n) picked himself up and Lucy put him in some of Iruma's clothes with his horned cloak. Lucy put on some of his normal clothes that aren't for his work and the headband.
"Okay so where is the store?" He asked getting up and following Iruma who was walking out of the room.
"Don't worry, just follow me!" Iruma smiled going to his parents room. They were sleeping on the bed while Iruma woke his mother. "Mom, we are going to the store to buy more groceries. Can I have some money?" His mother rolled her eyes and pointed to a drawer in the bedside table. Iruma opened it and grabbed the wallet he quietly ran out of the room. They all walked out of the house and to the store.
"Look, they say they are hiring! Lucy, you could get some work here!" Iruma shouted pointing to a sign on the store for painting houses.
"Yea I could give me a moment, I'll meet you out here when I'm done." Lucy said leaving (Y/n) and Iruma to shop.
"So what do we need to get?" (Y/n) asked, grabbing the basket Iruma handed him.
"You know the basics like vegetables and fruits then meat, milk and eggs. Oh and bread yogurt and um cheese!" Iruma showed (Y/n) the list.
"I see, so we have to find everything on this list?" He asked, confused.
"Yup! Look, the fruits are right here!" Iruma pointed to a section with lots of fruits. (Y/n)'s eyes shined; he'd never seen so many different types of fruits than where he's from.
"Have you eaten all of these!" (Y/n) excitedly exclaimed, grabbing raspberries and blackberrys.
"Well not all of them but I have tried a fair amount of the fruits like apples, bananas, blueberries, strawberries and grapes." Iruma said as he grabbed the fruits he mentioned putting them into the basket (Y/n) was carrying.
"ooooh I see! So what's next on our list?" (Y/n) asked with excitement as he held the basket letting Iruma put the fruits inside.
"Well we get the veggies next then all the other stuff." Iruma said, reading off the list.
"Okay... do you think Lucy will get the job?" (Y/n) asked Iruma.
"Yea there's no reason why they shouldn't hire him!" Iruma reassured "the job will be full of hard labor and he'll have to work long hours in the sun but it pays well if I was old enough I would get a job like that!" Iruma smiled, grabbing vegetables and putting them in the basket.
"I see..." (Y/n) looked down nervously at the foods in the basket.
When they finally finished Shopping they stood in front of the store waiting for Lucy to return. Iruma noticed a shady man peeking at them from around the corner. He tugged on (Y/n)s sleeve signaling to the man.
"Do you know him Iruma?" (Y/n) whispered into Iruma's ear.
"No hurry, let's go this way. We'll meet Lucy back at the house but he might do something to us if we stay far from grown ups." Iruma whispered back. But as they tried to leave the man ran up to and grabbed (Y/n).
"Let me go you bastard I am the young master. I'll have Lucy cut your hands off for this!" He shouted but the man kept on pulling him away from Iruma but Iruma grabbed (Y/n) as tight as he could.
"You can't take (Y/n)!" Iruma shouted, tugging as hard as he could.
"Kid let go, your friend is just going to get some ice cream. You can come too if you want." the man whispered.
"Iruma, I have an idea let me go!" (Y/n) whispered Iruma hesitated but did as he was told. "Bloodline ability thorn bush." All of a sudden thorn bushes started to grow with large red rose buds they wrapped themselves around the man's hands digging into his skin.
"Damn what the hell!" the large man shouted, drawing his arm away, making the large thorns scratching him further. He ran away holding his bleeding arm.
"Serves him right that bastard!" (Y/n) hissed as the thorns retracted back into his skin. Some of the thorns were flicking the blood off of them.
"(Y/n) are you okay what was that!" Iruma ran to (Y/n) side worrenly.
"Where I come from Um as normal foreigners we have something called a bloodline ability mine is thorns and roses! The thorns are an attack while the roses are for defense. I can only use the thorns. I need practice opening the rose buds though. When they open up they will have a smokey substance come out and provide what my mother called it lust dust. The lust dust can make anyone lust for me and do whatever I want when I'm older! Right now I can't use the dust cus I'm not old enough. Right now I can open them a little and they can put people to sleep!" He ranted about his bloodline ability. Iruma was in awe.
"(Y/n)! Are you okay!" Lucy ran quickly towards them.
"We are fine dont worry!" (Y/n) responded upset.
"Are you sure?" Lucy asked again, very worried he grabbed (Y/n) by the shoulders and was looking for injuries. He found a bruise from the man's grip on his arm. Lucy looked pissed for a split second then blinked and smiled. "I'm glad it's not very bad, just be more careful okay?" he said gently.
"Yea but let's go home now we have lots of work to do! Lucy, did you get the job?" Iruma said as they started to walk home.
"I did. It was hard to convince them to hire someone so young but they said yes after I insisted. I start tomorrow." Lucy said sternly, holding both Iruma's and (Y/n)s hands so they wouldn't get lost. He sighed and continued, "I thought I wouldnt have to work outside labor since I got a job as a servant boy inside the house." Lucy said to (Y/n) as he laughed.
"Well tomorrow we have a job to do (Y/n). I promised Mr. Uro I would pick weeds out of his garden." Iruma said with a smile. He was always trying his best to smile but deep down (Y/n) knew he wanted to not work all the time and go to school and probably have lots more friends but his parents are greedy so he has to work. (Y/n) also fears what will happen to Iruma when his father decides to lift his punishment and take him back to the demon world.
