y/n pov
"hyunjin" i said, finally looking her in the eyes.
"oh.. sure what is it?"
"so um.. remember a few days ago i told you about him? well, i made up my mind. i want to cancel it"
"oh thats okay, ill see when i can schedule our next meeting and let them know. thanks for telling me" she smiled,
"no actually- can we just go tomorrow?- or are you busy?"
"well we cant just go and be like oh let's cancel a very important deal you know? i have to talk to his parents and make up for a meeting"
dang it. "why does it matter when we're just gonna cancel it anyway.." i said a little below my voice, ugh i really wanted it to be tomorrow.
"okay then anything else?"
"its fine get some rest" i said, she nodded and we both went into our rooms

i sighed as i threw myself on the bed, i was still so mad, why do still even care. its soon going to end completely anyway. and i bet he wouldn't even care.
ugh.. i seriously need to stop thinking about all this. i quickly went up and put on the tv, a few minutes later a maid came in and called me up for dinner, so i put off the show i was watching and went down.
i saw mom sitting on the table, i went and sat beside her and started eating.
"so how is everything else going?" she asked while taking a bite from her food since it got too quite
"hm? like?"
"school and all, any other things you've been doing?"
"oh school is going fine.. and not really i just spend my time here and there doing this and that"
"well what i meant to say was, do you have friends you can hang out with? you're always alone everytime i see you"
"you barely ever see me mom" then i realised, i shouldn't have said that- her face slightly dropped for a second, but then she quickly laughed it off by saying "thats true"
"i mean i do have seungmin, i dont think anyone can be a better friend than him"
she nodded, "yah, you're not mad at me right?"
"what? no, why would i be"
"because i put you into all this, you were supposed to be enjoying your life and have alot of friends, you were supposed to go to karaoke and things like that and make so many school memories, but you already end school soon. and its all my fault" she said with a dull face, even if we're rich shes still a mom, and so she would want her daughter to live the best life possible. i kinda feel bad for lying to her all these years, now she's blaming it all on herself
"mommm~!" i bugged her with my elbow, "who told you i had a bad time? and its not like ill die after school ends you know, i can still make alot of memories. so its not your fault at all! like dont you know how good it is when you can buy anything you like because of your hardworking mom? im not mad and i still love you like i did, you're like the best mom i could ever get" i said and smiled, she didn't say anything and smiled back, i nodded and we started eating again
its obvious for her to feel bad, now to think of it, we never really spent alot of time together.. shes usually busy and even when she's home im usually in my room or out. i should've tried spending more time with her, and ask her if she was okay from time to time. well, I'll do that now.

the next day
as i got out of my car and went inside the school building, the principal called me and asked me to come to his office after i would keep my stuff away in my locker. oh god what did i do this time-
as i was putting in my stuff, someone suddenly screamed "GAAHH" into my ears, I flinched and turned back to see it was seungmin..
"holy shit- what the hell seungmin" i said as i turned back and faced him, with my back pressed on my open locker, it still had a few hyunjin pictures that i was too lazy to take out so I couldn't move until seungmin leaves
he smiled, "I've been looking for youu"
"oh- well the principal called me so i was gonna go there first"
"why? did you cause any trouble?"
i shrugged
"whats that" he suddenly noticed something inside my locker so stretched his hand to get it, "YAYA YAAAH" i yelled at him and tried stopping his hand, so he took a step closer while still trying to figure out what it was
"stop its my locker-" i said while still trying to stop him, "lemme seeeee" he said playfully and walked in even closer, on my right there was the locker door and on the left was seungmin's hand that i was trying to stop. that was when i realised how close he was.. and how i was trapped.
i froze for a second, and couldn't help but let go of seungmin's hand, i felt my heart racing, my hands slowly loosened and seungmin grabbed the pictures from inside the locker and moved back up without even realising anything. i still stood there like that, as if i couldn't move, but then seungmin spoke.
"aiishhh I should've known" he said and turned those pictures towards me
"i w-was gonna th-throw them out." i said and snatched those from him, then quickly walked past without looking at him
"yaa wait for me" he shouted behind me while closing my locker.
there was a dustbin on the right of the hallway, so i crushed those pics and was about to throw them in until someone also reached out their hands to put in a empty can, it was hyunjin.
"ugh" i whispered and aggressively threw the crushed pictures anywhere around the dustbin without even noticing if they went in and walked off.
no ones pov
"aish" hyunjin said as he noticed the pictures fell on the ground, and picked them up to throw them in.
but before he would, he wanted to unfold those crushed pictures because he was curious to know what they were. so he slowly did, just to find out it was.. him. he stood there holding them a little disappointed, but soon seungmin came and snatched those from him
"trash belongs here" he said as he threw those into the bin and ran after you to catch up, hyunjin scoffed in disgrace and walked away
y/n pov
i was walking to the principal's office, then i heard seungmin calling my name and running to me, "why did you leave me alone there" he said finally walking up to me
"i already said i have to go to the principal"
"oh right, well see you around then"
i nodded and we both walked off, then i finally reached, i took a deep breath and walked in.
"oh hello y/n" the principal greeted me, i bowed and walked in
"did you need me for anything?" i said a little confused
"yes!! you know how once every two years our school holds a charity event for students who live away from their home and arent financially stable right?"
i nodded again, i may or may not know what this is about. i sighed
"well so for that, we're collecting funds from the capable students from our school, here- show this to your mom and let me know if it interests her" he said and handed me a form and a flyer
"oh.." i said and took it, before i would say anything hyunjin walked in.
he came in and stood infront of the principal's desk, next to me. "did you ask for me?" he questioned, the principal explained the same thing to him about the event as he did to me and handed him those papers.
"i am gonna ask more students about this, please show this to your parents and let me know latest by this week!"
"ah of course" i said in a low voice with a slight smile, and bowed, hyunjin looked at me and somewhat bowed as well.
"can i leave now?" he then asked the principal
"yeah! oh can you take those books on that table and give them back in the library?" he pointed on the pile of books on a desk over on the left, "y/n go help him" he added
"but-" aish i cant even say no. "okay" i said and walked over to the table and grabbed a few of the books, hyunjin took the rest.
we both then walked out slowly, and started walking towards the library. it was quite the whole time
"ugh i hate climbing stairs" i whispered, carrying books makes it worse. he could've just asked someone else OR SOME STAFF
im pretty sure i dont come to school for this, i rolled my eyes and continued walking up

and then we both finally reached, as we walked over to the librarian to give them to her, she requested us to arrange those. no thanks my mom doesn't pay school fees for this, i tried making up a excuse
"actually i have cla-"
"you still have about 15 minutes! that should be enough since these aren't alot"
whatever, I'll just get over with this. these lazy asses won't leave me alone unless i don't. "fine" i said and took those books, hyunjin followed me with another pile in his hand
"those go on shelves to your right!" the librarian yelled from behind, we walked there and started putting books in their places quickly
"uh where the hell does this one go?" i said to myself as i held one of the books trying to figure out where its supposed be, then i finally noticed a few more books similar to it so i walked up to keep it, but it was a bit too high
where do they keep that library stool thing? nevermind I'll just-
i tried to tip toe and put the book in, but it wasnt working.
"aishh just a little m-" but then i suddenly felt someone behind me, hyunjin reached out his hand and took the book from me, then put it where it was supposed to be, i froze for a bit again, and stood there without wanting to turn and look back at him.
"your welcome" he said and walked back off me, i quickly turned back and started to walk away without saying anything, he didn't say anything either and we both went back to what we were doing.
after about 10 minutes or so, we got done and decided to walk out, "thank you so much both of you!" the librarian said as we left
"yaah" hyunjin said as i started walking away, so i turned back
"what?"
"its my birthday"
wow, imagine. so special
"oh.. happy birthday" i said while trying to pretend i didnt know
he took a step closer to me and asked, "are you coming today?"
i took a second thought before saying anything, i have no reason to go. plus its not like im the one he goes around buying dresses so why even should i? he has his little witch
i took a step closer to him aswell, "of course, how could i not?" i smiled
