It was a Saturday and Danielle was stuck at home. Her mom was baking apple pie and had instructed Danielle to keep watch over the oven while she went to fetch groceries. Danielle idly glanced at the tomato-shaped timer in the kitchen. 45 minutes left. She took a sip of the homemade blueberry banana smoothie she whipped up that morning.
A notification from her phone. Danielle instantly looked at it, anticipating her friend Eugene's reply.

Message: late night / early morning vent confession lol. I am in misery (but not really?) Idk so I have a crush on this person for a very long time and I don't want to mess things up so Im not telling them yet. But I'm seeing them struggle with romance and stuff and urgh its so hard. Unrequited feelings are horrid and I'm trying to get over it because I feel like a Creepy Entitled Nicd Guy whos always whining. A/N: As a person who can't stop using "naur" both offline and online, I'm also a shameful Twitter user. Big F to Danielle for telling her crush... all about her crush. And as the only Dani x Alex shipper I am laughing in my clown house.
Eugene get ghosted lol. (It's fine everyone ghosts someone at some point. I feel bad because I do ghost people lol.)

I HAD to include the Don't Worry Darling drama and Reddit Cbat, both of which made me laugh so hard. ESPECIALLY Cbat, it's hysterical. (If the timeline aligned a bit more I could've stuffed in the Leonardo DiCaprio 25 year old jokes or Taylor "Jet Fuel" Swift.) This probably sounds like a relic to people from the future. (You can feel I'm terminally online at the moment.)
I wrote this before Queen Lizzie perished and I think I'll go on with the pop culture references forever if I continue. The fun part of updating in real time is that you'll see the craziness of Sep 2022 recorded down.
