❝𝐰𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.❞

THE same day where students caught sight of the linked hands between Chifuyu and (Y/N) as they walk on their way to their school, their aura filled with warmth and sweetness, each students who caught sight of their joint hands couldn't help but to either smile or melt at how sweet the two teenagers, couple, looked; certainly, with how their eyes reveal the obvious love they have for each other and the way how they just looked like an ideal couple from a storybook, they might as well fall in love too.
And as the cute couple were about to near their school, with the school building in sight, a familiar sweet-toned voice called them and brought their attention behind them.
"(Y/N)-chan! Chifuyu-kun!"
There was a smiling faux blond-haired, ocean blue-eyed male wearing the same uniform as Chifuyu's, and a cute peach-haired girl wearing the same uniform as (Y/N) were seen walking towards them with big smiles etched upon their faces.
The sight of their best friends made Chifuyu and (Y/N) to smile, especially with (Y/N). "Takemichi-san! Hina-chan! Good morning!" She greeted with a bright, sweet smile tugging her lips, sweeter than most of the sweetest foods combined.
At this point, as Takemichi and Hina, another couple, neared (Y/N) and Chifuyu, the male Hanagaki himself took notice of their hands linked snugly together, and by how they looked so contented with each other and not even as shy as showing their interlocked fingers and clasped hands.
"Y-You're holding hands. ." Takemichi shakily breathed out, pointing a finger at (Y/N)'s and Chifuyu's clasped hands and interlocked fingers.
With that, Hina also shifted her eyes towards her best friend's hand, enveloped by Chifuyu's hand that he protectively holds within his warmth. This made the female Tachibana herself to smile in delight, a pretty pink hues spreading across her cheeks as Hina gasped softly, trying not to deliver her words as gibberish because if the extreme happiness she has for (Y/N). "D-Does that mean—you two are now. ." She trailed, needing not to say more because she knew they'd understand.
As soon as Takemichi pointed their interlocked fingers out and with Hina trying to composer herself, a cute pink blush bloomed prettily upon the female Sakisaka's cheeks as she shifted her baby blue orbs down below her, deciding to admire her shoes instead, not however, taking notice of the loving and fond gaze that her boyfriend was sending her as (Y/N) continued to do such cute and adorable action out of her flusteredness. And so, leaning more close to the shorter female beside her, who's still blushing, Chifuyu chuckled happily, "Yup."
Such simple answer was more than enough, as the long-time couple before them looked so genuinely delighted and happy at the good news, early in the morning.
"Wow Chifuyu! You did it, man!" Takemichi was grinning happily, trying not to cry once again, because his partner finally got himself someone and not only because Chifuyu wanted a girlfriend, but because he finally have the one whom he can call 'his important person' in his whole life now. "I-I'm so glad for you—sniff sniff. ." But Takemichi ended up shedding tears as he was too happy for his friend, slash partner.
"Oh my gosh Takemichi-kun!!" Hina squealed, and he is now beginning to shake her very own boyfriend in happiness. "They're together! They're together now!! Oh my gosh! I'm so happy for you, (Y/N)-chan!" Hina was really happy for her best friend; she was the one who had witnessed it with her very own eyes, how (Y/N) love Chifuyu so much, hearing her words pertaining to her feelings for the said Matsuno, and knowing how she really loves Chifuyu, her first love, so much. That's why—she's just so happy for her best friend, who had finally have her first love be her one and only.
(Y/N)'s cheeks were just the same color as the soft pink shades of the cherry blossom petals when she sees how much Takemichi and Hina were genuinely happy with how things turned out for her and Chifuyu. And because she was filled with nothing but the sweet euphoria filling her body, the said female Sakisaka had to hide behind her boyfriend, their hands still clasped together and their fingers locked together. The sight of his shy and adorable girlfriend made Chifuyu to smile, knowing that he's so lucky to have someone like (Y/N) now in his life.
Not noticing that Hina and Takemichi were so glad that their plan to make (Y/N) and Chifuyu grow closer to each other was a success, Chifuyu softly huffed out, as he finally faced in front, with (Y/N) following as their hands were still locked with each other. "We don't plan to tell it to anyone until later lunch, so—just keep your mouths shut, yeah? Especially you, Takemitchy; since you're bad at hiding things and secrets." He said with a laugh.
"Shut up!" Takemichi countered.
"Okay~" Hina giggled, as she and Takemichi began walking with the new couple now. "I could just imagine how Emma-chan and Yuzuha-chan will react." She said, swinging her and Takemichi's entwined hands.
With some students still taking notice of (Y/N) and Chifuyu, the small group of four then entered inside their school building to change their outside shoes to their inside shoes; after they do so, they were now walking along the hallways, on towards their respective classrooms. At this point, (Y/N) was now walking alongside Hina, with Takemichi and Chifuyu walking behind them as they walked through the hallways; as much as Chifuyu wanted to keep on holding (Y/N)'s hand until reaching their classroom, he knew that (Y/N) wouldn't want any more attention towards her. So he just hold that desire of holding her hand in, and make sure that his beloved (Y/N) is comfortable at all times.
And as they were walking, Takemichi just couldn't help himself but still question about (Y/N) and Chifuyu now being a couple; he has seen how his partner had always been so unlucky when it comes in picking up girls and basically, his whole love life. That's why—as much as he's happy for Chifuyu about this wonderful news, he couldn't just help but to wonder how such thing happened.
"—Still, I couldn't help but to think how lucky you are eh, Chifuyu; you said you were unlucky, and indeed you are, but—you managed to get yourself someone like (Y/N)-chan in just one time." The crybaby hero said with a smile, watching how his girlfriend and Chifuyu's girlfriend are happily talking to each other before them; it made him smile about how the two of them are so lovable.
They're really lucky enough to have them in their lives.
"—Man, can't you just feel genuinely happy for me, aibou?" Chifuyu then joked, before saying his own words to his partner about his beloved (Y/N), his girlfriend. "I didn't expected it either y'know; all I thought is that I would remain single for my whole life and be unlucky in love, but then here I am, happily in love with (Y/N)-chan." He said, his eyes softening as he thought about his soft-pink-haired girlfriend.
At the mention of his girlfriend, (Y/N), Takemichi shifted his ocean blue eyes towards the figure of the soft pink-haired, baby blue-eyed female before him; (Y/N) who was smiling so happily as she chats with his beloved girlfriend Hina. He could see how (Y/N) looked so genuinely happy; not only by the fact that she's talking with Hina, but because she's together now with Chifuyu.
". . (Y/N)-chan sure looked and is so happy." Takemichi pointed out, a happy smile on his lips. His smile and his words making the blond-haired, teal-eyed male walking beside him to then follow his line of sight, and it was directed towards his girlfriend, looking so happy than ever. Then his eyes softened and narrowed affectionately as he gazed at (Y/N) with nothing but love and adoration clear in his orbs; and along came his words directed to his one and only partner Takemichi, "Don't stare at (Y/N)-chan too much, yeah? Or I will hit you." He huffed, playfully joking with Takemichi, who now held an expression of 'are-you-kidding-with-me', before saying, "Are you even kidding me dude? I already got Hina! Don't get jealous too much!" He said, huffing.
Only mustering up a grin at Takemichi's response, Chifuyu then saw that they've finally reached their classroom upon the second floor of their school building; he hadn't realized that they're now here since they're too busy talking about (Y/N).
"So, I guess, see you later lunch?" Takemichi brought up, a slight sheepish smile on his face as he now stands beside Hina, looking before him where both (Y/N) and Chifuyu are standing.
"Let's talk more about it later, okay, (Y/N)-chan!~" Hina smiled, giggling at the softly blushing (Y/N), who yet heaved up a smile at her peach-haired best friend and waved her hand goodbye, "Mm. . see you later, Hina-chan, Takemichi-san. ." And with that, the couple before them reached for each other's hands, and began walking away from her and Chifuyu to go to their classroom, the room after the room beside theirs.
"Now then," She lifted her head up to face Chifuyu, the said blond male who had his hand gently patting the top of her head. "Let's go inside now, yeah?" He chuckled, and with that, (Y/N) hummed softly, nodding in response, "Yes."
As soon as Chifuyu's hand slid the door before them open, with (Y/N) behind him who was about to follow him inside, when some sudden popping noise startled the two on their spots; (Y/N) whose baby blue eyes widened and letting out a surprised squeak, with Chifuyu who in turn had wrapped his arms around the surprised pinkette-haired female, his expression telling everyone inside their classroom that Chifuyu's not amused of whatever happened.
"What the hell!?—What was that for, Hirano?" The Matsuno questioned with a frown settling upon his face, as he faced the said male, Hirano, who was holding a party popper in his hand. He was the one who surprised the new couple by popping the party popper as soon as Chifuyu opened the door.
Hirano merely smiled at them, ignoring the hard scowl and and glare upon Chifuyu's features. "Congratulations, Chifuyu, (Y/N)-chan~" He said in a lighthearted tone, clapping his hands afterwards to show him congratulating his fellow group mate at some activities, and the cute girl named (Y/N) herself.
And now, both (Y/N) and Chifuyu were getting more confused about what's happening, until another male student who goes by the name Komachi, came and explained about Hirano congratulating them. "Well~ The news of a cute and sweet couple walking on their way to our school reached us and so, we just wanna congratulate you. And—" He paused, a growing grin on his face as he pointed at them, a playful look glinting on his eyes, "Should the sight of you hugging like that is enough explanation, hm?"
As Komachi pointed it out, both (Y/N) and Chifuyu had their faces painted in red, yet, Chifuyu made no move in stepping away from his girlfriend and instead, only tightened his arms around her small, petite figure.
The sweet sight made some of the students inside; girls cooing at how cute (Y/N) and Chifuyu are, and the boys cheering so loud for Chifuyu, their classmate who had never had a girlfriend and now, had a very cute one, and it's (Y/N), their precious classmate. And because of this, the female Sakisaka herself had to hide her face by burying it in Chifuyu's shoulders, only intensifying the reactions from some students who can't seem to stop on teasing them.
"Woo-hoo~ You're so lucky Matsuno!"
"Kya!~ (Y/N)-chan and Matsuno-kun are so cute! They're an ideal couple!"
"Right?~"
Grumbling underneath his breath, Chifuyu then snapped his head towards them, glaring his teal-colored orbs towards his classmates that were still teasing him and (Y/N). "Just—just fucking stop already, man! Why're you making this a big deal when you barely reacted when Hoshino and Yamaguchi became one too!" But no one took him seriously because of his pinkened cheeks and how he was hugging (Y/N).
Before anyone could say something, their door was opened again, and this time, it's their homeroom teacher, Serizawa-sensei. "Alright, go back to your seats, everyone! I'll be announcing something related to your final test for the first semester, so listen well!" She said, and each students went to their respective seats; Chifuyu wanted to say something to (Y/N), but he figured out that since everyone's back at their seats and that he couldn't just talk to her freely as he wanted to, he only resorted on watching (Y/N) instead, how she placed her bag to the holder in her desk and brought out what she needs for the homeroom.
Unknown to the pair of eyes watching her moves with nothing but fondness, (Y/N) heaved a soft sigh, before thinking about what happened just a little while ago, when her classmate Hirano and Komachi pointed out their; hers and Chifuyu's relationship with each other. Everyone. . were they so happy for us? I didn't expected it since I thought. . we're just keeping it low. . but. . Thinking about how your classmates had finally took notice of you and began befriending you and talking to you unlike in your first days just back in April. I'm so happy. . I'm so happy that. . I couldn't stop smiling; being in love with someone and being together with that someone. . is really a happy feeling, huh?
Upon the soft smile curling up her lips, Chifuyu continued on watching her, his eyes softening and becoming moony the more they stare at the figure of the girl he deeply loves. God. . I really love her so much. . all her simple actions is enough to make me smile like this. . ah, what did you do to me, (Y/N)-chan? I love you so much that I couldn't just help it—
"Matsuno."
"Y—Yes!?" The said blond himself had snapped out of his daze, making him turn around and face Serizawa-sensei, instead of (Y/N); Serizawa-sensei was calling names for the attendance, and when Chifuyu didn't answered, she called him one more time with a louder voice, causing Chifuyu to finally snap out of it.
Heaving a sigh, Serizawa-sensei then put a check mark beside Chifuyu's name, seeing that he's present today, but not before saying her next words that caused a reaction from most students inside: "Sakisaka-san is cute, I know, but—keep your moony stare and gaze at a bare minimum, okay? You're still in class, after all. You can stare at her for as long as you want after classes."
"Caught you in 4k Matsuno!~"
"Sakisaka-san is so lucky because Matsuno-kun is so in love with her!~"
"Sensei! Matsuno and Sakisaka-chan are dating so let them be!!"
As the class began to be wild and chaotic again, Chifuyu grumbled loudly and glared at the ones who kept on teasing him until now. "Shut up! Let us be and find yourselves a cute girlfriend or a handsome boyfriend!" He spat.
(Y/N)'s face was red and feeling eyes upon her figure, the said pink-haired female had to use her notebook to cover her face, too embarrassed and fluster for her to say anything. O-Oh gosh. . this is so embarrassing!! But—the thought of Chifuyu-kun staring at me like that. . oh no. .
Seeing that her class is going nowhere, Serizawa-sensei lightly slammed her palm against the board to get everyone's attention; and once they did, she took another deep breath, before speaking up, "Okay, that's enough, everyone." She faced the red-face, frowning Chifuyu and looked at him seriously, "It's okay to be in love and form a romantic relationship with each other, but keep in mind that there's always time for everything. This is the time for you all to study, you can talk about love or whatever later, okay? Do you understand, everyone? Especially you, Matsuno?"
The redness and the warmth upon his cheeks disappeared, as Chifuyu responded to Serizawa-sensei, ". . I understand." And with that, the classes started with Serizawa-sensei teaching about Literature; everyone had finally calmed down, which was a big relief for Chifuyu and (Y/N) themselves.
As Serizawa-sensei started teaching, Chifuyu's teal orbs and (Y/N)'s baby blue orbs made contact with each other, both yielding a slight surprised look on their faces, before they turned from each other in sync, their cheeks painted with pink and red, and their eyes moony and daze.
Oh gosh. . I love her so much. .
I. . I really love him so much. .
~ Lunch Break ~
". . I wonder why would Horie-sensei call us out all of a sudden. ."
"Who knows? But, we didn't do anything, so we're gonna be fine."
Looking up at the sound of Chifuyu's voice laced with reassurance and warmth, a soft smile soon bloomed on your face, as you nodded gently, a soft smile matching your soft features. "Mm. . thank you, Chifuyu-kun." As you thanked him with your eyes closed and lips smiling so sweetly, Chifuyu resisted his desire to hug you here right now; you were just too cute for him—for his heart to handle.
It's currently lunch break, but before you and Chifuyu could head out to the usual hangout place to eat your lunch with everyone, one student from the other section asked for you and Chifuyu, and she said that Horie-sensei was calling you two out and asked the two of you to come to the faculty room to talk about something.
Though, you felt a little bit nervous at the thought of Horie-sensei talking to you; she was very strict, stern, and serious. And every time she would call you for recitations in her class, you would always answer her questions with frigid and tense posture. But then, with Chifuyu beside you, you somehow felt calm and reassured that whatever Horie-sensei will talk to you about, you would overcome it.
Once you and Chifuyu arrived in front of the faculty room, Chifuyu gave you a small but gentle reassuring smile, silently telling you to let him take the initiative. In response to his heartwarming action, you gave him a sweet smile, before Chifuyu then finally opened the door along with his voice calling out respectfully, "Please excuse us; we've been called by Horie-sensei to talk about something, so if you may let us come inside and have a talk with her, we would appreciate it."
One teacher, who was on his laptop, typing away, took notice of your presence along with Chifuyu's, before he then called out to the said teacher who called you at the first place. "Horie-sensei! Your students; Matsuno-kun and Sakisaka-san are here to talk to you!" He said, while continuing on typing on his laptop.
"Come here, Matsuno-san, Sakisaka-san." As the voice of Horie-sensei finally reached your eyes, you and Chifuyu fully entered inside of the faculty room, with Chifuyu closing the door behind him, allowing you to walk before him towards Horie-sensei's desk. And as you were now standing before your stern and strict History teacher with nothing but nervousness and frigid postures, both you and Chifuyu had to stop yourselves from gasping out loud when the usually strict Horie-sensei smiled at the two of you, simple action she didn't do in front of everyone in her class.
"No need for you two to be so guarded around me. I just called you to talk about your final project with me." Horie-sensei said, and immediately, your mind flashbacked to what happened in that project performance you did with Chifuyu as your partner; role playing about the romance back in the days. Your cheeks began heating up and so does Chifuyu, who clearly remembered what he did to you that caused your project performance to somewhat. . not ending up to what you both expected.
"I—I'm so sorry! We didn't finished it just as you wanted and. ." Chifuyu paused, looking over to your figure, you who is now bowing before Horie-sensei, your cheeks heated up and still pinkened, but the apologetic look on your face made Horie-sensei to think to herself how much the two of you went through hardwork in order to present your performance, yet failed to do so.
"I-I apologize too, sensei. . I fainted and it's because of me that we had to stop performing because I fainted and Chifuyu-kun has to bring me to the infirmary and bring me home—" Just as you were about to continuing on rambling now, Horie-sensei's amused laugh reached your ears, along with Chifuyu's hands on your shoulders to straighten your back as you faced the smiling Horie-sensei.
"Matsuno-san, Sakisaka-san, I didn't call you here to tell you about your shortcomings to your project performance." Composing herself, Horie-sensei fixed her glasses and adjusted it properly, before continuing on, the smile never leaving her face, "I just wanted to inform you that your performance is just as good and satisfying for me; since I didn't got to tell it to you two ever since that day and since I was getting busier along with the rest of the staffs for the upcoming sports festival." She said, looking over to some papers stacked and piled up in her desk.
Looking at Chifuyu, who was also holding the same confused look on his face as yours, you gulped your saliva before proceeding to ask about the question you've been wanting to ask Horie-sensei about your project performance. "D-Did we passed then. . ? Y-You said that our performance is just as good. ." You trailed off; as much as you wanted to know your grades on your project performance, you also didn't want to know because you're nervous about the results.
Horie-sensei shifted her orbs towards your figures, and her smile widened, "With flying colors, Sakisaka-san."
Your eyes and Chifuyu's eyes widened; you knew what it means when someone said 'with flying colors', it's more than just satisfactory and it's more like very good. This made your tensed muscles to finally relaxed themselves, allowing you to smile so big as you unknowingly took hold of Chifuyu's hand in yours and looked at him with the happiest look that Chifuyu has never seen in your face before.
"W-We passed. . !! We passed, Chifuyu-kun!!"
Mirroring the happy smile on your face, Chifuyu held your hand back and looked at your happy form with love and adoration as he chuckled, "Yeah. . we passed." He was happy, too. Not only because you two passed, but because your happiness is his happiness as well, after all.
Watching the two of you looking so genuinely happy, and in love, Horie-sensei chuckled, before once again fixing her glasses and said, "Now off you two go to have your lunch then. And—congratulations for passing your project performance with flying colors." She said, the warm tone on her voice only making the two of you happier as you both bowed before her and thanked her, "Thank you very much!!"
And with that, Horie-sensei watched you two leave the faculty room, your hands still clasped together as you shared happy smiles, her good news making you both to have a very good day.
"Young love is really wonderful. ."

"—I'm so happy that we didn't failed! I thought that Horie-sensei would fail us because we somehow failed on our performance, but. ."
As you continued to ramble happily about you and Chifuyu passing your project performance while the two of you are walking on the way to your group's usual hangout spot, Chifuyu couldn't just help the fondness and adoration clear in his teal-colored orbs as he watched you ramble so happily.
Ah. . everything of her; may it be just by her simple happiness and how she gets so happy over the smallest things, and how her face shows just how happy she is. . everything of you is just one of the many reason why I fell for you, why I love you. I want to see more sides of you I haven't seen yet. . I want to keep on watching you because you're making me all complete. . really, (Y/N)-chan, I'm the one who's very lucky to have you by my side.
"—Chifuyu-kun?" Your sweet and soft voice soon brought him out of his thoughts that were filled with you, and only you, and he sees you looking up at him with concern clear in your baby blue orbs. "Are you okay. . ? You're so silent—oh gosh! I was rambling so much that you must've found that boring!—" As you were about to yet again, began to ramble off like you always do, warmth just enveloped your form, stopping your words as you felt the warmth seeping inside of your skin, something that you would never trade for anything in this world.
A contented and happy smiled curled up on his lips, Chifuyu had wrapped your petite form in his arms lovingly, his arms secure and filled with reassurance that he will never let you go. Both of you were standing along the somewhat empty corridor that leads to the clearing where your destination is. It's as if time had stopped as soon as Chifuyu embraced you in his arms, warmth that you loved so much.
". . It's okay; you can talk as much as you want around me. I love to hear you talking about so many things that makes you happy. . I love listening to them all." Chifuyu spoke to your ears, his voice sounding so soft and sweet, making your heart pound so fast in your chest. "Everything you do, everything you say. . it's all so precious to me that I couldn't help but to smile. . I love you so much that I just want to keep on holding you this close to me."
Warmth surfaced on your cheeks as Chifuyu held you close to him, to his heart, while stating his feelings he feels for you; no matter how many times Chifuyu embraced you, no matter how many times Chifuyu profess his feelings for you—your heart still haven't stop beating for them so fastly out of euphoria. It made you so happy and warm, knowing that the boy you love so much, loves you just as how you love him.
Wrapping your slender arms back around his warm figure, you happily leaned everything of you to Chifuyu, the said male who hadn't stopped in making you fall in love with him more.
After a little while of enjoying the warmth of each other through a loving embrace, Chifuyu finally took a good look at your face; your cheeks softly tainted with pink, eyes filled with nothing but love for him, and your lips curled up in a little, but sweet smile that he loves so much. Then he leaned in and laid his soft, warm lips on your forehead, before quickly leaning away to pat his hand over your head, a satisfied and contented smile gracing his lips.
You, on the other hand, felt like you're in cloud nine as you touched your warm forehead, to where Chifuyu gave the spot a sweet and featherlike kiss that made you to squeak out. "C-Chifuyu-kun—"
Chuckling lovingly over your embarrassed form, Chifuyu took a step away from you, but still remain close to you as he gently took your hand in his, and locked your fingers together as he said, "Let's go to the others now. They're waiting for us." And then both of you started walking towards your destination.
And all the while you are heading to join the others, Chifuyu raised his hand; that was holding his lunch box and covered the lower half of his face with the back of it. He was blushing as he muttered to himself, ". . God, you're so cute. ."
I really love you so much. . so much that it's making me unable to crawl out of this hole. But. . I wouldn't dare to get out since. . I love you so much.
—After a little bit more walking, you and Chifuyu finally arrived at the hangout spot that your group usually went to during break times and times where all of you just wanted to hang out; everyone was already there, and they're already eating.
Releasing your hand from his, in order to keep in the surprise that you and Chifuyu are now together, Chifuyu waved his hand (that held yours quite a while ago) to the group, a grin on his visage, "Hey! Sorry we're late! Horie-sensei just called us." He said.
While you made your way to your peach-haired best friend, who was already all smiles the moment she sees you with Chifuyu, Hina quickly welcomed you with a warm hug, nuzzling her cheeks with your soft and warm ones. "(Y/N)-chan!~ You're here!" She giggled happily, feeling so happy about your presence.
As you embraced Hina back and smiled at her softly, "H-Hello, Hina-chan. ." Chifuyu was just watching you for a moment, a contented smile on his face, before he went over to the boys and took his spot in between Takemichi and Baji, opening his lunch box that of course, is contained with his favorite peyoung yakisoba.
And just as he was about to dig in to his favorite yakisoba, Baji quickly spoke to him in a nonchalant tone of voice. "So Chifuyu, somethin' you wanna say to us, hm? Takemitchy said you're gonna announce somethin' important." As soon as Baji dropped the bomb, causing the noodles on Chifuyu's chopsticks to fall back to the container, Chifuyu snapped his head towards Takemichi, a glare forming his eyes; really, Takemichi couldn't be relied on when it comes to keeping secrets like this.

Takemichi instantly knew what the glare Chifuyu had on his face means. Crap—! I'm gonna get killed later!! But Takemichi knew it's not entirely his fault, since it was Baji and Kazutora who kept on pressing him about Hina's happy behavior regarding the new couple of the group.
"So," They all then turned their attention to Kazutora, who was now sipping on his banana milk carton, twirling on the banana peel that he just finished eating quite a while ago. "What are ya gonna announce anyway?" He said; the males beside him, Mitsuya who was just eating his lunch calmly and Hakkai who blinked his eyes upon what Chifuyu's announcement could be.
"Are you and (Y/N)-chan now together?" Baji straightly said, chewing on his yakisoba bread he bought at the school's cafeteria. On his other side, Kazutora finished his banana milk, as he blinked his sandy-golden hues, before a teasing smile rose up on his lips, shifting his orbs over to the annoyed Chifuyu's way, "Huh? Chifuyu making a move on someone who's as cute as (Y/N)-chan? No way. He's an ass who is unlucky with romance and complains about not gettin' any ladies during Christmas—"
"Shut the fuck up, banana-haired asshole." Chifuyu spat angrily, glaring his orbs towards the said Hanemiya male, whose eyes widened at his insult, before returning his glare and was about to say something, when Chifuyu continued, "It's about me and (Y/N)-chan; and Baji-san is right—(Y/N)-chan is now mine and I'm hers."
And then silence ensued within the group of eight teens for a few moments, before violent reactions came; save for the other five who already expected this to happen.
Baji was choking on his yakisoba, trying to keep himself out of it because he fears he might die of choking on his precious food.
Kazutora meanwhile, accidentally spew his second banana milk to the poor faux blond-haired male named Takemichi, looking at Chifuyu in disbelief. "Really now?"
Hakkai merely froze on his spot as he was about to take a bite of his rice ball.
Mitsuya looked amused, still looking calm as he finished eating his lunch, and is now keeping his emptied lunch box away.
And at last, Baji finally recovered from his choking incident, and after downing a bottle of water that Mitsuya reached for him, the said 1st Division Captain was now looking at his vice captain with his eyes serious. "How? Since when? Where did you confessed to (Y/N)-chan—"
Also recovering from his spewing incident, Kazutora had an amused smile on his lips, as he handed a towel towards Takemichi, whose face was now sticky and wet, thanks to Kazutora's banana milk. "Oh, so you ain't an ass and you're being a man after all eh, Chifuyu?" He jokingly said, making the said male himself to earn irk marks all over his face as he huffed annoyedly, responding to Kazutora's playful mockery, "Shut it; I was never an ass to begin with, and I just confessed my feelings to her normally. Nothing extravagant nor grand 'bout it."
". . That is, if I didn't urged you to profess your feelings to (Y/N), you wouldn't have done it anyway." Mitsuya's calm voice cut through the air, and they all looked at the said lavender-haired male, who just looked calm just as how his voice sounded calm as well.
Finally done on wiping his face dry (except it was still a little bit sticky), Takemichi turned to his senior in confusion, wondering if Mitsuya somehow had something to do with Chifuyu's and your relationship. "How did you know about it, Mitsuya-kun? Did something happened?" He asked, blinking his blue eyes.
Setting down his own container of yakisoba on the ground, Chifuyu turned his head towards his senior, his eyes filled with seriousness as he spoke the same way as well, "Is it okay to tell them, Mitsuya-kun?"
The said 2nd Division Captain looked back at Chifuyu calmly, before a small smile came up on his lips as he faced everyone else, who was now curious of his involvement in your and Chifuyu's relationship. "Some misunderstanding happened that day; I somehow found an opportunity to tell (Y/N) about what I feel for her. I just told Chifuyu that if he won't make his move, then I would've come and taken (Y/N) as mine instead." He said calmly, ignoring how everyone was looking at him with widened eyes and surprise written across their faces. "And since I like her, I don't want her to be sad, so I made Chifuyu go after her and made him profess his love for her before it's too late."
Everyone was yet again silent; Chifuyu clenched his hands at the fabric of his trousers, and then there came along everyone instantly reacting over to what Mitsuya just told them.
"What the hell—you also like (Y/N)-chan Mitsuya!?" Baji exclaimed in disbelief.
"Mitsuya-kun l-likes (Y/N)-chan too. . !?" Takemichi blanched; just thinking about having two or more liking someone seems to be quite. . complicated.
Kazutora blinked his eyes in shock, before regaining his composure as he smiled, raking his hand through his hair. "Wow. . didn't expected this, huh. . so there was a love triangle at the very beginning, huh. ."
At the midst of the growing commotion within their group, Mitsuya's calm voice silenced them down. "Well—I cannot say I had completely moved on, but, I'm just contented seeing the two of them together, watching over them. And, I ain't a bad person who will steal (Y/N) from Chifuyu just because I like her." He said with a chuckle, before turning to face the said serious blond, who soon returned his gaze. "That's why—I made Chifuyu to made a vow to himself that he shouldn't make (Y/N) cry or get hurt again. Because if he does, I won't hesitate and I'll seriously come after (Y/N) and make her mine instead."
Everyone was stunned; they were already surprised of Mitsuya boldly professing his feelings for you, but they were more surprised to see how calm he is right now. Well, as expected of Toman's 2nd Division Captain, the escort unit leader, Mitsuya Takashi himself.
"Heh, not bad yourself eh, Mitsuya." Baji smirked.
"True." Kazutora nodded in agreement, smiling.
"Wow. ." Takemichi awed; not only he was amazed of Chifuyu liking someone who's as sweet as you, but Mitsuya as well, share the same feelings Chifuyu has for you. And not to mention—both of them being Toman leaders, which just sounds and is so freaking amazing.
"—Don't worry, Mitsuya-kun." They all now looked at Chifuyu, the said male who had a determined smile on his face as he looked straight at Mitsuya's lavender-colored orbs. "From the moment I said that I love (Y/N)-chan, everything about her is something that I swore to protect. You don't need to steal her away from me, because I wouldn't let you do so at the first place, anyway."
Mitsuya smiled, seeing for himself how Chifuyu really hold you close to his heart, something that he can do as well. It made him feel so contented now, knowing that you're loved by someone who would never let you go, ever.
"As you should."
And as the conversation about you had been rolling around with the boys, you and Hina heard everything, and to say Hina was shocked was an understatement; she was very shocked to find out that Mitsuya also liked you, but then, her happiness that you are loved by many, especially by the ones who wanted to hold you close to their heart, still weighs heavier than her surprise.
Turning to you with a sweet smile curled up on her lips, Hina chuckled softly, her voice soft and sweet. "I'm really so happy for you, (Y/N)-chan; not only someone like Chifuyu-kun loved you so much, but someone like Mitsuya-kun also hold you so important to hm as well—you're really loved by everyone, (Y/N)-chan." She said, her words and her genuine happiness seeping into your body as you smiled ever so softly and gently, your face painted with soft pink.
"I'm so happy too. . I'm so happy because I found love, such love that I will never find to anyone ever again."
A lot might've happened before I came here to this point, but. . it's all thanks to everything that has happened all along that it made me able to love someone and to keep him close to my heart. . it's because I met Chifuyu-kun, I was able to find such kind of love that I won't find again from anyone. Because. . I found love in him.

The day had quickly ended in a blink of an eye, and now, it's late in the afternoon; you and Chifuyu were walking on your usual route back to your home, with him now dressed in his Toman uniform.
You were quite confused a little while ago why Chifuyu, and not only him, but as well as Takemichi, Baji, Kazutora, Mitsuya, and Hakkai all changed into their Toman uniforms as soon as classes ended. Chifuyu then told you that Toman will be going against the gang, where the delinquents who messed up with you last time belonged; Mikey had contacted them about it, that's why Chifuyu's going to bring you home instead of bringing you to the fight along with the girls.
He didn't want you to get triggered with what happened back then to you when you see the same delinquents fighting them. And, Chifuyu didn't want you to see him beating their shits into pulp.
As you held Chifuyu's warm hand in yours as you walk down the streets of Shibuya, you soon took notice of his silence, and you looked up, seeing the serious look matting his features. You know he's deep in his thoughts, and you couldn't help but to feel a little bit nervous, because you know that once Chifuyu had safely brought you back to your home, he will leave to fight for Toman.
I. . I don't want to see him go yet. . I want him to stay with me for a little longer. . As such, your hand had unconsciously gripped Chifuyu's hand holding yours, successfully snapping the said male out of his thoughts. He looked down at you, and saw that you stopped walking, along with the worry and concern present on your visage.
"(Y/N)-chan?" Chifuyu called, stopping as well to take a look at you, "Are you okay? You stopped walking. ." He trailed off, and as soon as his voice reached your ears, you were once again brought out of your deep thoughts as you looked up at him; now he's the one who's looking at you in worry. With that, you quickly mustered up a smile at him, your voice soft and hushed, but Chifuyu still heard it. "I'm okay. . it's just—I was just thinking about. . you and everyone going to the fight later. ." You started, hanging your head down to look at the asphalt ground below you.
Chifuyu wanted to respond to your words, but he saw that you're yet finished, so he remained silent and just stood there, before you, holding your hand tightly, yet gently in his warmth. And as you looked up at him, you were now displaying the worried expression that you were trying to hide a while ago, along with the words coming out of your mouth, "T-The truth is. . I don't want Chifuyu-kun to go to the fight later on. . I just thought that I don't want to see you hurt. . because seeing you hurt makes me feel like. . I'm being suffocated. B-But still—!" You closed your eyes, trying not to spill out tears just because of the thought of a hurt Chifuyu. "I know that you must do what you need to do, so I have to let you go, that's why!—"
Once again, your words were cut off from your mouth, as soon as Chifuyu's warmth yet again, had enveloped your form tightly, securing you in his warm, gentle embrace. Your words ended up sounding a little bit ridiculous and impossible, because you know that Chifuyu is a delinquent, and being a delinquent means that he will get hurt and he will be in danger. But then again, Chifuyu's warmth just erased all of your worries, as soon as his warmth seeped into your body.
". . (Y/N)-chan, I'll be fine. I'm happy that you care for me like this and I'm so thankful for it; although I can't and won't promise you that I will not get hurt, I know only one promise that I will fulfill to you despite everything. And that is—whatever may happen, I will always come back to you, because I know (Y/N)-chan is waiting for me, after all. There's no way I wouldn't go back to the one I really love the most."
Warmth invaded your cheeks as Chifuyu's words processed in your mind; you are his home, a place where he belonged to, a place where he would never leave as long as he lives. All your worries, doubts, and fear melted away, and a smile finally bloomed on your face as the two of you looked at each other. With your cheeks still warm, your lips curled up into a little, sweet smile that yet again, made Chifuyu to feel an urge to kiss you at this very moment; the moment right now was a perfect timing, and Chifuyu knew that if he left something that would make you feel happy and wouldn't have to fear for what will happen no matter what, he will be reassured that you're just right there, waiting for him.
"Hey, (Y/N)-chan. . can I ask you. . a favor?" The Matsuno himself was nervous; Chifuyu didn't knew if this would end up as what he wanted, but still—I wanted to kiss you. I want to kiss you so bad that it's driving me crazy.
Seeing the now blushing Chifuyu before you; his cheeks painted with red and his eyes bleary and moony, you were concerned if he somehow have a fever again; the redness on his face is worrying you. "A favor. . ? Sure I can do any favor you ask me of, but, Chifuyu-kun. . your face is red, are you alright?" You asked in worry, and the more you care for him, the more Chifuyu feels more love for you.
"I—I'm alright, (Y/N)-chan, I promise. ." Chifuyu quickly reassured you, so you wouldn't get so worried about him more than you should've. Then he cleared his throat, and put on the most determined look on his face as he then let go of your hand to place it and his other hand on your shoulders. And with a soft voice, Chifuyu muttered, "T-Then can you please. . close your eyes for me? I-I promise this won't. . take long. ." He trailed off, feeling the nerves in his body acting up; this is the first time that he's going to kiss you, and he wanted to make it romantic and memorable for you as much as possible.
Although you're still quite confused about closing your eyes and what will Chifuyu do, nonetheless, you could only do what he told you, and just wait what will happen. As such, you then shut your eyes close, and tried not to open them as much as you were tempted to do so to look and see what Chifuyu is going to do.
You're now nervous, because, what if. . Chifuyu-kun leaves me all alone? Such thoughts began flooding your mind, and you wanted to open your eyes to see if Chifuyu really left you alone, but—the sudden warmth upon your soft lips, the same warmth that you really really loved, gently and softly giving you the feeling of euphoria, made your eyes to open wide; you were not mistaken about what you were just assuming as it is.
Your lips are softly and gently locked against Chifuyu's warm ones, as he held you close to him, never letting go.
M-My. . my first kiss. . it was taken by the one I really, really love. Something that I wouldn't just dare to forget, for as long as I live; the kiss that had never felt so much magical before in my whole life.
And after finally a while that seems to last a short eternity, the warmth left your lips as Chifuyu separated his lips from yours and leaned back, his face showing how much he felt so flustered over the very bold stunt he just did, yet, there was no regret and hesitation in his eyes as he looked at you, his larger, warmer hand holding your warm cheek, holding it because you're the most precious person in his entire life.
Your lips were still parted open, before you finally realized and soon processed that—Chifuyu-kun kissed me. . And with that, your face had never been so hotter ever before and your heart beating so fastly and loudly that for the umpteenth time, you fear that it would take a leap out of your chest. Everything in you was so warm, and somehow. . somehow—it left you this feeling of desire and yearning of wanting to feel that warmth once more, always, and forever.
"—I-I'm sorry. ." Chifuyu's soft, low tone of voice reached your ears, snapping you back to reality as you looked up at him, your eyes still widened and face red; his face was red as well like yours, and his eyes looked so bleary that the sight of your blushing boyfriend made you feel more love towards him. "I-I just. . I just can't help it. . because—I really love you so much that I also didn't want to go and leave you. I want to stay with you longer. . that's why—I wanted to leave something behind to you so you would wait for me. ." He trailed off, shifting his orbs away from your currently embarrassed, and flustered form.
Clutching your hands tightly together, you pursed your lips, hanging your head down low as you closed your eyes, before opening them again and looked up at Chifuyu, a smile finally forming on your lips after a short while. "I. . I don't mind it, Chifuyu-kun. . I don't mind it. . the kiss. ." You started, making Chifuyu's eyes to return to your form, watching you as he silently listened to your words, ". . I feel so, so happy right now; like. . it filled me with warmth and I just. . I just want to keep on feeling the same warmth again and again. ."
There was nothing more precious than this very moment, Chifuyu thought that to himself. He was beyond surprised and what more, his happiness has never been something that he would want to keep ongoing for as long as it could, just like now. Your words, your smile—everything about you really just made Chifuyu to love you more, and more, and more.
No matter how many times I say 'I love you' to you, it will never be enough.
With a gentle look upon his face, the nervousness has melted away as the feeling of love and adoration came to replace it, Chifuyu's smile had never been so angelic before, you thought. "Then—from now on, I will kiss you and make you feel happy. I want to see you smiling more around me, I want to see you happy with me; and I would do anything for you to be that. That's why. . let me make you the most happiest girl alive." And then he shortened the gap between the two of you, and locked his lips against yours, silently telling you that he will never leave you and will always make you feel the most happiest in the whole world.
With his lips again placed upon yours, it surprised you again, but this time, closing your eyes, you gently pushed your lips against Chifuyu's, responding and relishing in this warmth and sweet, euphoric feeling enveloping your entirety.
In this very moment that as precious as it is, you both found love in each other, and there's nothing more worth it than that.
