"hajime?"
"hm?" hajime peeked away from the stove.
"can I PLEEASSEEE give kokichi some candy?"
"No, last time you gave him a sip of coffee and he almost fell out of his chair."
"but I'll only give him one—"
"....No. last time you gave angie a PIECE of candy she crashed into a wall and tenko chased you for like an hour."
"aw..okay fine. i won't."

nagito walked along the halls, about to go check on his patient.
well, obviously. that was what he was supposed to do.
he turned, hearing a step behind him.
"oh hi hinata! ew, that sounds weird."
hajime looked up from his papers.
"komaeda,"
"hi." he finished.
"how's it going with rantaro?"
"He's the same as always, he's doing the best physically out of all patients, well, that's besides the ones who didn't die, but you know. how's it going with kokichi?"
"it's going well, I have to get him to eat more though. he refuses to eat if it means going into the cafeteria,"
"oh al— what's that in your pocket?"

nagito bolted away from him, hajime running trailing a little behind him.
he closed the door just in time, locking it.
"are you smuggling drugs or something?" kokichi said, looking away from the window at the sorta,, scared nagito.
"...kokichi i have one question."

"how well can you hide things?"

"ooh." kokichi said in a little surprised tone.
he shifted to his knees and reached over at the helmet that was faced down onto the floor.
he out the bag of candy in the helmet, putting it back face down on the ground and shifting it back under the bed.
"okay now,," he got out another bag. it was dumplings.
"oooooh, dumplings!" he said, getting excited.
"nagito, you better open this door or I'll get Sonia." hajime threatened, making him instantly go open the door.
"now what the hell was in your pocket?" he huffed.
nagito guiltily pulled out a bag of dumplings.

"can you explain to me why the fuck you smuggled a bag of dumplings to your patient?? you couldn't just...put it in a fucking plate or something?"

"I would've been if it was the candy I told you not to bring."
"you'd physically kill me if I brought it."
"I would. are the dumplings cold?"
"yeah, but I'll just warm them up."
"I can't believe you seriously got me a BAG. a BAG of dumplings." kokichi said.
"I mean they don't give dumplings on the first few days of you coming back so, and I saw you practically drooling at the dumplings on the TV so."
"i'm only letting this slide this once because I didn't the same with rantaro."
"oh wow, your a bad doctor hajimeee,"
"shut up, you act like you didn't almost curse your patient out."
"in my defense,"
"you can't defend that. just- okay, I need to go check up on rantaro." hajime said and left.

"before the game?"
"yeah. my friend let me try a few of theirs and it was really good. my... I think my mom?, she never really let me try them."
"oh wow. that's what you all a bad mother. stripping away the flavor of dumplings from a child."
"how can you possibly make something so depressing?"

nagito was laughing his ass off as kokichi was literally vibrating from energy.
"i'm seeing sounds." he said, making nagito wheeze.
"oh my god. I literally see mia khalifa outside the window."

"nagito are these drugs."

"I feel like I'm on some serious shit right now"
he wheezed even more as kokichi started to have a full on conversation with the wall who was supposedly angie.

"holy shit, hajime's gonna fucking kill me dude. it's so worth it though." he said as he got up and went over to the door.
"Sonia told me to give you this." he said, passing nagito a document.
"...is he talking to a wall?" he said, watching kokichi.
"uh. yeah. medicine."
"...." he pushed past nagito with a side glare.
"kokichi, how many fingers am I holding up?"

"....nagito what the fuck kinda medicine did you give him?" he said, putting down the one finger he had up.
"he gave me skittles."
"kokichi you fucking snitch —"

nagito ran out the room, hajime right behind him as they ran downstairs.
he hid behind gundham who looked at him in confusion.
"HAJIME'S TRYING TO KILL ME!" he whined, twirling the both of them in circles as hajime tried to grab him.
"I told you to not give him any candy! before I left he told me he saw the floor waving at him?!"
"I'M TELLING MY MOM"

"MIKAN, MIKAN HELP" nagito ran from gundham, grabbing mikan who nearly had a stroke at the two boys running around her.
"w-what happened?!"
"UMSO I KINDA GAVE KOKICHI SOME CANDY AND HAJIME'S TRYING TO MAKE ME SEE MY MOM"
mikan grabbed hajime, crouching down to him.
"p-please don't hurt him! it's okay! t-togami said as long as they c-cause no de-destruction it's fine!"
"but it's KOKICHI. have you SEEN him."
"he's m-my brother.. he'll b-be fine.."
"ugh whatever, i'm still gonna beat your ass later."

mikan laughed a little as nagito ran off again, hajime about to jump on him and kill him.
"mikan, come on! visiting time starts now, we need to get there before any of his friends do." celestia popped up from the stairs, startling mikan.
"o-oh, okay!" she said and ran over to her.
