Aika: 'Is it really okay for me to feel this way? I've never been this happy before.'
N: She looks at Tokoyami and blushed as she looked at their hands still interlocked. She put her hair behind her ear and smiled.
N: They arrived at the dorms and Tokoyami held open the door for her. She smiled and giggled then went in and they went back to holding hands. Everyone was in the common room and Yaoyorozu, Iida and Sato were in the kitchen discussing what to make for dinner.
Aika: "Looks like everyone's gonna be too busy to notice when we leave."
Tokoyami: "Maybe so."
Mina: "Hehe. Hm?"
N: She looked over her shoulder and saw Aika and Tokoyami talking. Then she saw them holding hands and she quietly gasped as her face lit up.
Aika: "Come on, let's go to my room."
Tokoyami: "Right."
N: Mina watched them leave quietly hand in hand. She squealed to herself and kicked her feet excitedly.
Tsu: "Wow Mina, I've never seen you so excited before."
Mina: "Oh Tsu, You. Have. No idea! Eeeeee!!"
N: Aika and Tokoyami got to her room and Aika picked up a book from under her desk.
Aika: "This is one of my favorite books. I made this year's ago, I filled it with every one of my favorite poems as a kid. My sister would read all of these to me when I was little."
N: She handed him the book and he started going through the pages.
Tokoyami: "Hm. I've actually read this one before."
Aika: "Really? You read poetry?"
N: He handed her the book opened on the page with the poem he recognized as he cleared his throat.
Tokoyami: 'Our life in this world -
to what shall I compare it?
It's like an echo
resounding through the mountains
and off into the empty sky.'
N: Aika glanced at the book and her jaw dropped a little.
Aika: "Wow. I honestly didn't expect you to be able to recite it without reading it."
Tokoyami: "As I said before, I've read that one before."
Aika: "It's still pretty impressive that you could remember it so well. When did you read it?"
Tokoyami: "When I was in my first semester of middle school."
Aika: "Ah! A-And you remembered it?! From so long ago?"
Tokoyami: "Yes. Does it really shock you that much?"
Aika: "Well I read this when I was about, maybe seven or eight. And my classmates were all too young to even remember the first two sentences."
Tokoyami: "I see. What other poems are your favorite?"
Aika: "C'mere, I'll show you."
N: They sat beside each other on her bed and looked through the pages of the book. All the poems were longer than others and shorter, and all by different people. Aika went to turn a page and their hands touched when Tokoyami went to turn the page. Aika let go and they just blushed. Tokoyami turned the page and cleared his throat.
Aika: "Oh these are some of my most favorite poems. I always loved the romance written in poetry. My sister was the one who showed them to me, and I would ask her to read them."
Tokoyami: "I believe I've read one or two of these poems."
N: Aika smiled and laughed quietly to herself.
Aika: "Here, I'll recite some and you recite some. Alright?"
N: He nodded in agreement and he let Aika pick the first poem to recite.
Aika: 'These things I cherish:
the moment between glances;
stillness beneath sound;
the voice of the unuttered;
the darkness behind the light.'
N: She looked to Tokoyami for a moment and looked down blushing a little. It has been a long time since she's read her favorite poems out loud to someone. Tokoyami looked at the next poem then looked to her, he flipped back a few pages and read one of the poems.
Tokoyami: 'There are darknesses in
life and there are lights,
and you are one of the
lights, the light of
all lights.'
Aika: *Ahem* 'I love you as
certain dark things
are to be loved,
in secret,
between the shadow
and the soul.'
Tokoyami: 'We are but shadows
moving lightly, fleetingly
over the surface.
Noticed by some, barely seen,
they look again and we're gone.'
Aika: 'He sounds like he's not from this era when he reads. Not just when he reads but also when he speaks. It's kinda nice, like we're both somewhere else in time.'
N: Aika smiled as she unknowingly stared at him for a while.
Tokoyami: "Amari."
Aika: "Huh? Oh, yeah sorry. Um, you know you don't have to keep calling me by my last name. I'm fine with you calling me Aika, or something else I guess."
Tokoyami: 'Cute.' "If it makes you more comfortable. Alright Aika."
N: She smiled as her cheeks turned red. Aika looked at the book and turned the page and Tokoyami looked at the next poem.
Aika & Tokoyami: "I remember this one."
N: They looked at each other and Aika laughed a little.
Aika: "You know this one?"
Tokoyami: "I came across this poem in a book I was reading at the library. Do you want to read it?"
Aika: "You can if you want?"
Tokoyami: "Hmm, it's long enough for us to split it into sections for both of us to read."
Aika: "Okay."
Tokoyami: 'Bury me deep inside your heart
And hide me in the dark'
Aika: 'Don't let in the light
Never let me go, hold me tight'
Tokoyami: 'Don't ever let me go away
Please be with me and stay'
Aika: 'I want to be buried in your heart
Yet it's so dark'
Tokoyami: 'Even though you love to hate
I feel as if this is fate'
Aika: 'Please love me as I do you
Please make my only dream come true'
Tokoyami: 'I sleep in silence
I dream in darkness'
Aika: 'Just hold me tight
Keep me away from the light'
Tokoyami & Aika: 'Bury me in the dark
Inside your heart.'
N: Tokoyami slowly looked at her hand resting on the book, he held her hand and Aika looked at him. She began blushing a little then she flipped her hand over and held his hand. They looked at one another and the book started to slowly slide off Aika's lap. Tokoyami brushed his hand across her cheek and pulled their hands closer to him, and kissed her hand. Aika and Tokoyami locked eyes and she gave him a gentle smile. The sound of the book hitting the floor didn't even bother them. Tokoyami leaned in and kissed her. Aika put her hand on his cheek and enjoyed the tender kiss.
N: They parted from the kiss and Tokoyami closed his eyes as he placed his hand over her hand on his cheek. Aika blushed and smiled to herself thinking that this made him look cute. She scooted back a little to sit back on the bed. She reached for Tokoyami's hands, he took her hands and she pulled him towards her. Aika wrapped her arms around his neck and Tokoyami put his hands against the wall behind her.
Aika: "Is this okay?"
Tokoyami: "I suppose so."
Aika: "If..this makes you uncomfortable we can stop."
N: Tokoyami however, kissed her forehead making her blush and nearly squeak. Aika was really surprised that he had no problem with this, and she was glad she didn't make that embarrassing squeak. He gave her a kiss on her cheek and she looked at him with her face turning bright red. Tokoyami almost laughed at the way she looked but he held it together. Once Aika got herself together she initiated the next kiss. She gave it a little more passion and Tokoyami followed her lead. They parted for a moment but Tokoyami became a little eager and was more aggressive in the kiss. Aika's face turned red and she slipped her fingers under the collar of his shirt under his jacket. (Side note, they're still in school uniforms) Tokoyami unbuttoned his jacket and loosened his tie, Aika slipped her hand in and down his back.
N: Aika had no choice but to pull away from the kiss, she was lightly panting and so was Tokoyami. Both were a blushing mess. Aika looked down at his tie and untied it for him and tossed it aside. Tokoyami used one of his hands to cup her cheek and kissed her again Aika made a little noise and moaned a little into the kiss. And he unbuttoned his shirt with the other hand. Aika unbuttoned her jacket next and ended the kiss again. She moved closer and began kissing his chest, Tokoyami leaned back for her to have better access. She started sucking with a few kisses and Tokoyami balled his hand into a fist. She moved up closer to his neck and bit him.
Tokoyami: "Ah!?"
Aika: "Oh, I-I'm sorry. I don't know why I did that I just couldn't help it."
Tokoyami: "I-It's fine. It didn't hurt, I was surprised that's all. ... You can do it..again if you want."
N: She blushed and looked at the little red mark she left.
Aika: "Can I take your choker off then?"
Tokoyami: "S-Sure."
N: She undid the choker and put it on her bed post. She began kissing his neck slowly and giving him a few bites in between. Tokoyami started to breathe heavy, he ran his hand through her hair and held her head close against his neck.
Aika: "You okay? Are you sure it doesn't hurt?"
Tokoyami: "N-No. It's fine."
N: She pulled away and put her arms around him again.
Aika: "Maybe you should take a break. Uh, don't be mad..but I think I overdid it with the biting. Sorry."
Tokoyami: "What?"
N: She got up and went to her desk and pulled out a pocket mirror from her drawer. She gave it to him and he saw a bunch of red marks on his neck. And he saw a few on his chest. His expression changed and he started blushing.
Tokoyami: "Uhh, wow. I'm..not sure how to respond to this."
Aika: "I'm..so sorry. But at least your choker will hide the marks."
Tokoyami: "You aren't wrong."
N: He got up to put the mirror on her desk. He looked at her while she was blushing and staring at her feet. He put his hand under her chin so their eyes would meet and he kissed her. Aika blushed more once it ended but she tried to hide her smile by lowering her head. Tokoyami knew she was trying to hide it so he started kissing the top of her head, then her cheek and Aika just covered her face with her hands.
Tokoyami: "Well, someone's shy all of a sudden."
Aika: "Mmmmm! I. Am not. Shy."
Tokoyami: "Heh. I was only joking Aika." He said taking a hold of her hands.
N: She was still avoiding eye contact with him and he could feel the warmth from her hands rise. He nearly laughed at how embarrassed she was. He placed more kisses on her cheek, making Aika more flustered so she shut her eyes tight as her face turned more and more red.
Tokoyami: "You truly are a strange one, Aika Amari." He whispered in her ear.
N: With that her eyes finally opened as a chill went down her spine.
Tokoyami: "Even in training, I don't receive as many marks as you've placed on me.~"
N: Aika flinched when she felt him breathing those words on her neck. As another chill went down her spine.
Tokoyami: "What should I do about this?~"
N: Her eyes widened and she blushed so much that even her ears were red. She looked at him wondering what he meant, until...
Aika: "A-Ah! Mm!"
N: He began nibbling on her neck while gently kissing it. Aika shut her eyes and got a handful of his jacket. Tokoyami was gentle when he nibbled on her neck, but he started putting slightly more pressure with each bite. From gentle, to slightly rough. He moved to the center of her neck and slowly licked up almost reaching her chin. Then back down, slowly kissing it over and over. Aika bit her bottom lip and closed her eyes.
Tokoyami: "You said to call you by your first name, or any other name but your last name."
N: Her eyes slightly opened as she let out quiet breaths. She ran her fingers through his hair and he went back to sucking her neck. She shut her eyes and bit her lip again, after she made a soft little squeak. After he stopped once more he let out a sigh on her neck, sending goosebumps all over her body and a chill down her back.
Tokoyami: "Will you be my darling?~"
(Sry for the wait..again😅been having some writers block and very little encouragement to keep updating sooner😑 but I'm trying to come up with ideas for this book and the new one and some ideas for one-shots but I'll try to stay as active as I can with all of this.
