Will POV
I could sense Nico was nervous so I gently grabbed his hand and squeezed it lightly then gave him a warm smile.
I let his hand drop and knocked on the door. We waited for a total of 30 seconds and Nico was already trying to backup. So I grabbed his hand today and gently pulled him forward.
He stepped behind me and then the door swung open revealing Kayla.
"Hey Kay! What's wrong?" I asked noticing how freaked out she looked
"Oh, umm, there's a bit of a situation inside..." She responded
"What kind of situation?" I asked and squeezed Nico's hand as if to tell him 'I'm here everything will be ok, I promise.' It seemed to help because his nails stopped digging into my hand.
"Well, Aunt Sill and Mom got in a fight."
"A fist fight?" Nico asked sounding excited
"I- umm no?" Kayla looked at me quizzically
"You said I could bring a friend." I shrugged, "Nico, this is Kayla, Kayla this is Nico."
"Hi," Kayla said
Nico nodded in response, "What was the fight about?"
I had a small smile on my face because Nico was talking to someone other than me.
"The fight was about Michael and Jackson" Kayla stated
Nico looked very confused, "Who are Michael and Jackson?"
I laughed, "They're our dogs and Aunt Sill has always hated them"
"Well can you blame her?! The first time she met them they were still training and Jackson attacked her!" Kayla recalled
"Jackson's an attack dog?" Nico said a bit nervously
"Yeah, but don't worry Neeks he's trained in French." I said
Nico nodded, "Who came up with their names?"
"Our dad he's obsessed with Michael Jackson's music." Kayla said
Just then Bille Jean came on and Kayla and I smiled at each other and ran inside Nico being pulled behind me very confused.
When we got to the living room dad was doing the entire Billie Jean dance.

No one had noticed I was here yet so I figured try and keep it that way for Nico's sake. It didn't work like that.
The second dad was done dancing he turned toward Kayla and I and smiled, "Will! We're so glad you could make it!" my dad basically screamed
The next thing I knew everyone was crowded around Nico and I. He squeezed my hand to make sure I was there and I could tell he was nervous so somehow I got the two of us to the backyard.
"Sorry about that" I say
"It's n-nothing" he tries to hide his panic
I hug him gently "Breathe" I remind him

"Thanks" Nico said
"It's nothing." I look into his eyes getting a bit lost in them
The thing is, Nico was doing the same thing.
