▹anyways they weren't on the same team therefore i headcanon that there very much so is a rivalry between the three

▹'people thought you were dating' close
▹so when dean joined the team
▹you hated his guts
▹wouldn't stop to piss on his car if you found it burning on the side of the road
▹but anyway, tangent aside, he eventually joined your joint at the hip best friendship with fulton
▹therefore making you a bash sister
▹back to gunnar and being at the junior goodwill games
▹at first, you were very much with them and their anti-gunnar stahl sentiment
▹until you went out into LA alone one day and gunnar invited himself to hang out with you
▹totally because he felt obliged to keep you safe from the creeps of LA and most definitely not because he thought you were the prettiest girl he's ever seen in his life
▹anyhow, you tried hating gunnar the whole day
▹and found that it was really hard because he was actually not as hateable now that you knew him than when you, fulton, and dean shat on him constantly
▹you really wanted to keep hanging out but had zero idea how to break it to dean and fulton
▹so you thought you could secretly hang out with gunnar without fulton and dean knowing
▹you should've known you wouldn't be able to
▹if the two are in a half mile radius of you, they know every thought you've ever had
▹they got wildly suspicious when you attempted to hang out with them less
▹logically, instead of confronting you about it, they followed you to wherever you going to not hangout with them
▹the level of butt hurt they were when they spotted you with gunnar stahl was out of this world
▹the betrayal was worse then them seeing bombay with maria
▹i feel like they went back to their dorm and cried about it tbh
▹they literally gave you the silent treatment the next day
▹and you just knew as soon as you saw them why they wouldn't talk to you
▹so you returned the silent treatment to them
▹by the end of the day the team was fed up with you three ignoring each other so they locked you in a room together until you made up
▹lots of yelling
▹screaming match yelling
▹then big brain fulton came up with a bright idea
▹you be so good of friends with gunnar that you can convince him to move to minnesota to join the ducks
▹and just like that, the fighting was over
▹no more silent treatment
▹you guys were now at attached at the hip again
▹the only condition was that you couldn't hang out with them less than you had been
▹which made it very hard to hang out with gunnar

▹because now that i've realize i'm 500+ words in and haven't really followed the title, we're doing a time skip

▹so they settled for gunnar joining the bash trio to make it a quartet
▹the rest of the team always joke that you're a little family
▹to the point that if you say anything halfway reprimandingly to either of them you'll get a "yes mom" and an eye roll

▹despite the fact that you three initially hated gunnar
▹you're very happy dating him
▹and fulton and dean are really happy that your happy
▹and most importantly (to them at least) they get a new really cool bash bro out of the deal
