I woke up after having a dream of some guy working out while smoking a cigarette and drinking some mint alcohol, his weight was thrown out the window so he went outside to get it.
The moment he got his weight his house exploded, talk about luck.
You'd think this would've been a crazy dream but no it was real so here I am with Dad at the man's house. Either I'm physic or I'm psycho.
"Mr. Lasser, we have a lot of people out here investigating the explosion. If you were involved with any kind of bomb making now's the time to let me know before anybody gets hurt" Dad says
"Bomb making? Me? I wouldn't know how to do any of that, everything I love was in there" Hap says as he changes to a Blutbad then he turns back continuing "my entire life. My brothers baseball cards, now if my brother knew about this he would crap a car"
"Shouldn't he be happy that you're alive?" I question
"How's he gonna hear?" Hap says and I shrug my shoulders
"Hey, you're gonna need a place to stay tonight. Why don't you give your brother a call?" Dad says handing his phone to Hap
"Your cell phones not that good, detective, he didn't make it out" Hap says, was he in the house?
"Didn't make it out of what?" Hank questions
"His double-wide. Same thing happened to him last month with him in it. He's so dead" Hap says and Dad gives Hank a look
Who would want to murder Hap? He seems so sweet. Dumb but sweet.
We went the the precinct I guess I passed out cause when I woke up I saw Hap hugging Monroe.
When did he show up? And he has friends??
"So, you believe both explosions were accidental?" Dad questions that guy I don't know his name but I haven't argued with him yet so that's probably why I don't know who he is.
"Yeah, that's how it appears to me. The inlet valve on the propane stove from the geodesic dome was corroded. Not exactly unheard of in this wet climate. So, we had a propane leak.The guy's breaker box was out of code. He turned on one appliance too many. There was a spark. That was the point of ignition" The guy says about Hap's house
"But how exactly would that a break a pipe?" I ask and the guy gives me a weird look while Dad gives me 'that's right' looks as he remembered
"Well I mean the pipe that connected to the house was broken off, that can't just break by itself someone would've had to broken that" I say
"Was it rusted?"
"Yes.. a little" I say ugh he's gonna say how it's rusted so it broke off
"Rusted metal plus wet weather equals broken metal. Now, in the older brother's double wide, we had a nicked propane line" And from that point I don't even listen to him anymore
Rusted metal plus wet weather oh how bout you shut up. And he didn't have to say it in that tone it made me look like an idiot.
"Now, is it possible that someone corroded the valve or frayed the cord?" Dad asks getting my attention
"I get it. They're brothers. It's a very weird coincidence" Yea it is, it might be me being pissed off but I think he's hiding something
"I tried to find a connection between the gas companies. There wasn't any. The service companies were different as well. Anything is possible. I've got nothing here to indicate foul play. I did have the CSU team pull some prints off the valves and the tanks. Nothing was a hit
on the database. And you guys know how this works. I can't base my conclusions on the fact that both victims were related" That prick says
"Now, it says here you were contacted by an insurance adjuster" Dad says looking at files
"Yeah. Whenever there's a loss of life, we try to work the case off our desk quickly to aid the beneficiary"
"You know who the beneficiary was from the first brother's death?" Dad asks
"I'm not given that information unless it's a criminal case, but typically, it's next of kin"
"I wonder how many are in that family" Hank says
"Maybe we should talk to Hap" Dad says
"All right, you do that, and I'll contact the insurance company" Hank says
"Well, I'm here if you guys need anything else. And keep me in the loop. I'd love to know if we've got a bad guy here" The guy says, I'm suspicious of him now.

"So how's school?" Dad asks as we drive to Monroe's and I look at him
"I haven't been going" I say
"Right"
I sigh and say "Junior said a lot of people at school know I'm a Grimm now, they want to jump me"
"What?" Dad says
"Yes but I'll be fine, and I promise not to start anything" I say
"As long as you're safe" Dad says but I have a feeling he's not gonna let me go to school until Mom says something
Dad pulls up to Monroe's house and everything is quiet til some lady or thing breaks the window and drags Dad out of it.
"Jesus Christ I can never have a normal moment with you" I mumble as I get out of the car
"A Grimm" The woman says and I kick her side making her I guess paralyzed for the time being it only works for a minute
I pull my knife out as the woman looks up at me snarling, another Blutbad.
"Two? This is going to be even more fun than I thought" She says as I hear a door open and Hap yelling
"No, no, no, no, no! Don't hurt them!"
"No, no, no, no, no" Monroe says
"Get down, man. Get down!" Dad yells
"Don't shoot her" Monroe says
"She's my sister, Angelina!" Hap says as Angelina snarls before changing back to her 'normal' form
I put my knife back into my boot as I break the silence "well I don't know bout you guys but I'm hungry so...gonna go through your fridge Monroe"
"Of course you are" Monroe sighs as they follow me inside and I go straight into the kitchen
"So what's good to eat here?" Hap questions
"Ah well Monroe doesn't eat meat so..." I say walking over to the cabinet "the next best thing are his chips" I say smiling and Hap chuckles
"He's killed more of our ancestors than I can count" Angelina says as I sit on the couch and Hap sits next to me while Angelina and Dad are on opposite sides of each other
"How can you know him? How can you even talk to him?" Angelina says as me and Hap take turns getting chips
"Well, it's complicated" Monroe says
"What are you talking about?" Hap says
"He's a Grimm. She is too!" Angelina says
"What? No. He's a cop. And this is his daughter, Monroe, tell her she's wrong" Hap says
"She's not" Monroe says and Hap scoots away from me and I roll my eyes
"He's a cop and a Grimm? Is that legal?" Hap says
"Does somebody want to explain to me why I'm not arresting her for assaulting a police officer?" Dad questions
"I was protecting my brother" Angelina says pretty valid excuse, family above all.
"Yeah, and your boyfriend" Hap says and I choke on my chips
"Ex" Monroe corrects
"Wait. You get chicks?" I question and Monroe glares at me while I can see Angelina's lips curve up little bit
"Hot ones?" I say and Angelina smirks while Hap laughs
"Long time ago. Okay" Monroe says
"You know what? This is insane. Three Blutbaden in a room with two Grimm's. And we're all having a little chat. We should be having dinner" Angelina says
"He's not that kind"
"There is only one kind" Angelina says scoffing
"Just like there's one kind of Blutbad?" Dad says
"Well, kumbaya. Let's all hold hands. I'd heard that you'd gone straight. I just didn't believe it" Angelina says as Monroe looks down
That's rude. I can only make fun of Monroe.
"I'm here to protect your brother, and I need to ask him some questions. So, why don't you
just shut up?" Dad says and Angelina runs up to Dad but I grab her wrist and flip her on her back
"Hold on! Hold on!" Monroe says
"Chill! Chill!" Hap yells
"Let's not let this get out of hand again. I just had the carpet cleaned" Monroe says as Dad pulled me back
"You're really a Grimm. I'm, like, living like a piece of history right here, bro" Hap says
"Your brother, Rolf, had a life insurance policy. Who was the beneficiary?" Dad asks
"Don't answer him" Angelina says
"No. I want to. He's trying to help me. I got the money when Rolf died" Hap says
"Ugh, I need a drink" Angelina complains
"And if you die, who gets the money?"
"Me. So, what?" Angelina says
"So, where were you the night your brother died?" Dad says and I let Angelina run after him cause that was kinda cold
"Angelina!" Monroe yells stopping her "This is not getting any better"
"The night Rolf died, I was in New Orleans visiting an old friend" Angelina says
"Does your old friend have a name?"

"Angelina" Hap says, I'm guessing this guy isn't a good guy
"He's a butcher in the French Quarter. His number is in the book. I'm going to get that drink now" Angelina says and Hap follows her to the kitchen
After Monroe and Dad have a conversation Dad has someone run Angelina's plates then he drops me off at home.
"Go inside, tell Mom I'll be at the precinct" Dad says and I see Roddy in the bushes oh that idiot is going to get me in trouble
"Okay but you're going to the trailer right?" I say
"Yes, I'll be back around 10" Dad says as he pulls my head and kisses the top of it
"Goodnight, love you" He says
"Goodnight, love you too" I say getting out of the car and quickly walking inside acting like I didn't see that idiot
"Hey there's leftovers on the table, I'm too tired to wait up for your Dad" Mom says when I take off my jacket
"Oh yeah he's going back to the precinct for that case" I say
"The one with the exploded house?" Mom says
"Yeah" I say
"Well get some rest. Goodnight" Mom says
"Night" I say watching her walk up the stairs and I go to the kitchen and grab the leftovers and bring them up to my room
I set the leftovers down and hear tapping on my window, I shut the door and walk over to the window and open the curtains.
I sigh and open the window. Roddy comes in and smiles at me.
"Don't. I don't want any of your compliments I'm not in the mood" I say as I sit on my bed
"Hangry?" Roddy questions
"Yes" I say taking a bite of the leftover lasagna
"Why do you come and meet me in my room? I mean don't you have Sarah?" I say
"Eh Sarah's whatever and I've moved on" Roddy says
"You're older"
"By two years and to be technically I'm still 16 I don't turn 17 until next month" Roddy says
"Hm, is it cause I'm a Grimm?" I question
"Well that's honestly scary cause I have no idea when you are gonna cut my head off but no I just like you Lizzie" Roddy says and I smile
We hear a car pull up and Roddy groans as I laugh.
"Well I'll see you tomorrow unless you're gonna be staying out again" Roddy says
"Most likely"
"Then this Saturday" Roddy says and I nod
Roddy walks in front of me and pushes my food aside as he puts his finger under my chin and lifts my head up. Our lips meet and we stay like that until Roddy hears the door downstairs.
"Goodnight Lizzie"
"Goodnight Roddy" I say and I watch as he slips out of my room and he runs off
This had been going on for a month already, I like him. But it's weird. To me at least.
After I finish eating I do some homework til my food goes down and then I head straight into a shower and I pass out.
When I wake up I get ready and I see Dad already left, so that means I have to go to school.
School will be interesting then. I grab an apple before leaving the house. I didn't see Mom's bike so she had already left. I didn't even hear them I must of been dead asleep then.
Honestly I've been having problems with sleeping I don't know if it has anything to do with the dreams or if it's something else.
Once I walk inside the school I can see everyone stay quiet staring at me. I roll my eyes and walk to my locker.
"That's her, the Grimm" I hear a girl whisper and I look at her and she runs away
I grab my backpack and take out my books and I put them into my locker. I see one of the seniors from my art class walk up to me.
"Hey look most of the seniors know that you're a Grimm same as the rest of the school, I'm just here to say please don't kill any of us" The guy says
"I'm not like that" I say shutting my locker
"Good good" The guy says smiling and I nod
"You don't mess with me I don't mess with you, got it?" I say
"Totally, Grimm" The guy says and I walk away to my first period
School was ass today, most people stared at me like a freak others like I was God. Some avoided me like a plague and others ran away from me.
My old friend group shunned me out, turns out they were Hexenbiest's. Crazy. Although one girl was nice to me but she was a Melifer so it made sense.
Grimms and Melifer's tend to get along.
The only people who talked to me were normal people even at that people made rumors to cover up that I was a Grimm.
"How I was school honey?" Mom asks
"Okay" I say
"You know you can tell me anything" Mom says
"I know Mom" I say and she starts the car
So turns out Hap died earlier in the day, very sad anyways, turns out his killer was that asshole cop who made it seem I was dumb yesterday. I was right about him! Angelina went after him Dad stop her from killing him, she took off, and now she's on the run.
Monroe's very sad so I might cheer him up tomorrow.
Also that cop was a Bauerschwein, it's like a pig, there's this rivalry between Blutbaden and Baurschwein. It's literally like the three little pigs come to life. Pigs vs the wolves.
