Khalil's Pov
"I'm not sure as yet" I mumbled
I don't see why he's so persistent in meeting Cole.
"So how long will you be gone?" He asks
"I'm not sure, hopefully only one month" I said lowly
"A month? You say it so casually" he stated looking at me
"Because that's usually how long it takes, but this is my first time going solo so it might take longer, I have someone going with me to help but usually we go in a group especially since we're going in a unknown territory but it's different this time"
"Oh I'm guessing this is one of Coles test for you" Cass says walking closer to me
"Yeah" I said walking forward to hold his hand.
Once our hands were in each other's I said "What will you be doing whiles I'm gone?"
"Probably just work, that's if Grey doesn't send me out on any missions"
"You get send out to do missions?" I said letting curiosity get the best of me "What kind of missions"
"Oh um j-just the b-boring stuff, like getting shipment back and making sure the guys drug deals go smooth"
I frowned "You guys sell drugs?"
"Yeah, what's wrong don't your mafia do it" he said confused
"Yeah we do but it's our territory, Grey's selling drugs in Cole's territory" I said beginning to get angry. Greyson knows better.
"It's not as if his business is big bu-" I cut him off
"That's besides the point it's a disrespect and it's goes against the rules, if he wants to do that he needs to move out of Italy and find a different place to sell" I said
"This is why I don't get into mafia's and gangs there's too much rules, violence and beef towards one another" he say pulling me in for a kiss.
"Well you're already in it once you're working for someone who has a gang" I said coming to realization that Grey is starting to make his own mafia
"Hmm, so you gonna tell me who was the guy I met here in your home eating?"
"You really won't give up will you?" I asked
He shakes his head no making me laugh "It was Cole" I said pulling him tighter into me
"What? Really?!"
I nodded
"Why didn't you let me meet him? I barely could've seen him as he left" He said frowning
"I told you it's dangerous being associated with him, I don't think you quite understand who he is"
"You said he was strong and powerful" he muttered
"No he is, not was, Cass. He is strong and powerful, stop asking me about him I'm getting frustrated!" I said tired of him talking about Cole it's making me jealous.
He smirks "You're jealous aren't you?"
I started to pull away when he said that. "No don't pull away, Babe" he started kissing me on my neck then my cheeks and soon after my lips.
"You love teasing me don't you" I muttered biting his lip.
"Yeah now come here let me show what daddy's going to give you for your going away present" he growled in my ears
My plane landed, I was finally in Mexico and John was on the side of me sleeping, he looks dead to me.
"Dude, wake up" I nudged him hard. "We Just landed"
"Okay" he nodded
Once we were off the plane our driver was already waiting on us. As the driver carried us to where we have to go John spoke up "So what's the plan for today?"
"We scope out the area for the rest of the day" I said picking up my phone, seeing I have a message from Cole it say. 'No distractions, I mean it'
Suddenly a text from Cass popped up 'I hope you have a safe flight and call me when you land'.
I pressed his chat about to reply but then remembered what Cole said, sighing I closed my phone without replying.
Cass's Pov
"Grey, he said that we're going against the rules by selling drugs to people"
"It's not as if he'll find out I mean Khalil does love me" he snorts "Well I don't know about that anymore but he wouldn't want to betray me, besides he barely likes Cole last time I check they only talked because of that war"
"Look he doesn't love you" I spat "And furthermore what do you mean he doesn't like Cole" I asked curious
"It's a long story" he muttered and I hear papers flipping in his back ground.
"Well I'm listening"
"Okay look we can't do this right now whenever you want to have proper conversation you know where to find me but until I have a mission for you, I need you to figure out who's stopping our shipment and deal with them" he says
I knew exactly what he meant when he said deal with them.
"You're trying to turn me into a hit man for your gang aren't you" I smirked over the phone
"I mean you are an assassin, it's basically the same thing except you just don't belong to a gang or a mafia" he chuckles over the phone
"Hey, I don't care who you send me after when you're paying me, as long as you don't get me into your crossfire when the Italian mafia crushes you for your shit" I said standing up "Send me the details". I hanged up
I instantly got the notifications from him sending me the information, I decided to text Khalil
'I hope you have a safe flight and call me when you land'. Instantly I see him typing, I smiled at that but it slowly dropped when I see him stopped and came offline.
Standing up I sighed and see what Grey sent me.
It was a picture of the person but his face was barely shown. The location about where the person keeps busting Grey's men are here as well.
I don't want Khalil to see what a monster I can be, he has this image of me being soft and loving and I wouldn't like to ruin that image. He doesn't know I'm an assassin. I've been training to be one from I was 10 and started when I was 18, no one knows about this not even my mum, I just grew up watching my older brother getting bullied he is one year older and somehow within 2 years he was gone and living with his friend and came back strong, but even before he left I started my training secretly that's why hardly anyone of Greyson friends know I exist and I don't know them either because I stayed home to practice.
I am more lean than buff, I have muscles but not too much I am just right and I can be cocky because I know I put in the fucking work and I'm strong but I won't say I'm the best but I am good that's why I have no problem working alone so I work with my brother time to time whenever he reaches out and needs help with paper work.
I never really cared that much about relationships back then so I don't care what people think about me liking guys.
I like who the fuck I want to, I don't waste my time with any homophobics because I'll smash someone face in if I want to. I try to keep the fact that I'm an assassin a secret because I don't need anyone coming after my family.
I've never been in a relationship where as I really care about the person like I am with Khalil. So whenever I see a guy or anyone approach him I get uncontrollably possessive, but I can do that because
I'm his fucking boyfriend
Now I know Khalil thinks I'm obsessed with meeting Cole but I'm not I just would like to meet the person who help Khalil to become what he is today. I mean I really don't know anything about the guy all I know is that he's strong and he mentored Grey. That's it. But I feel like there's more that Khalil has not told me, I guess I'll just have to find out myself. But I have to be careful because by the way Khalil talks about him it seem he's in some deep shit.
Now let me start this mission so when I get back I can call my boyfriend. I like the way that sounds.
