Statue of Liberty — New York
— Peter's POV —
"Sup, Pete?" Electro said.
Where’d that come from? Electro then bolts into view — the ARC REACTOR mounted on his chest.
"How you like the new-new?" he said sarcastically before eyeing the magic box I'm holding. "Look, you give it to me, I’m gonna destroy it." he laughs. "But I’ll let you live. Don’t make me a murderer, Peter."
I swing off with The Box and calls out the other Spider-Men over their comms.
"Okay, guys. Here he comes." I spoke through the comms.
As Electro chases after...
On the scaffolding, the older Peter and the other Peter then swing into action. The other Peter lunches at Electro with the cure.
"Hey, Max! I missed you, man- Whoa!" the other Peter shouted.
He then webs out of the way, just before-- ZAP! A thunder bolt came through, Electro barely misses him.
"All right, MJ! Heads up!" I exclaimed.
I reach the portal by the crown, tossing The Box through to MJ and Ned, at the ready. MJ catches The Box.
— Y/n's POV, Midtown School Lab —
"Got it!" MJ said as she turns to Ned. "Close it."
Ned starts moving his arm in circles, like before. But... THE PORTAL WON’T CLOSE!
"Uh... Ned, it’s not closing." I told him.
"Yeah, I know." Ned responded, sounding nervous.
"Why isn’t it closing?" MJ asked.
"I don’t know, I--"
"Did you close it before?"
"No, I mean, I’ve opened some..."
— 3rd POV —
At the watery base of the statue... Lizard LEAPS out of the water.
Electro continues to shoot electric currents at the other Peter, who dodges them. Drops down on the crown.
"Max! Max, Max... can we just talk for a second? Just you and me, just—"
"Look who showed up! My old friend, Spider-Man." Electro exclaimed.
"I’m trying to save you, Max. That’s all I’ve ever wanted."
"You’re not trying to save me."
"I am."
"You ain’t even the shit no more."
The other Peter sighs then drops his head.
"Don’t worry about me." Electro said as he look at the arc reactor on his chest. "I saved myself. Burn up!"
Electro ZAPS a bolt -- flames licking the other Peter's heels as he dives away.
"Well, I got his attention. Now what?"
"Okay, great!" said the older Peter through the comms.
The older Peter then swing by... the Lizard hanging off his leg!
"Uh, just FYI -- Lizard guy’s here too!" the older Peter added.
the older Peter kicks the Lizard loose -- sending Lizard SLAMMING onto the arm of a nearby crane. The older Peter drops down above him, quickly backpedaling as Lizard advances.
"Guys, comm check! Hello?!" the older Peter shouted.
On the other side, Peter on the scaffolding was watching as the other Peter FLIPS and WEBS his way around Electro's pummeling bolts.
"I need Max’s cure!" the other Peter said over the comms.
"Yeah! I’m on it!" Peter responded.
Peter looks to the crane -- the older Peter frantically crawls away from the approaching Lizard.
"Peter, I need the Lizard cure!"
"Uh, okay, okay!" Peter once again responded, panicking.
But before Peter can help- SLAM! Sandman’s MASSIVE fist smashes into him... sending Peter over the ledge of the scaffolding... where Sandman clutches him in mid-air.
"Where’s The Box, Peter?" Sandman said, threatening him.
"Flint, we can help everyone!" Peter explained.
"I don’t care!"
The other Peter slingshots his way past them, Electro in hot pursuit.
On the crane, the older Peter battles Lizard. Just as... Peter WEBS the crane, trying to pull himself out of Sandman’s tightening grip... The unsuspecting other Peter swings through— WHAM! He was shot by the other Peter's web, falling backwards, plummeting. The other Peter then WEBS a new line-- which hits the older Peter in the face, again! As he struggles to see, Lizard SLAMS him into the crane.
"Sorry!" the other Peter apologised over the comms.
The other Peter quickly WEBS a new line again, as the older Peter rips the webbing from his mask.
"Gross!"
The other Peter lands onto the crane. Electro approaches and calls out to Sandman.
"Sad to tell you, Sandman. Nobody’s
going home!" Electro shouted.
The chaotic battle continued. Everyone was determined but it's the lack of preparation and planning that was getting in their way.
Time Skip — Still in the Statue of Liberty.
On the scaffolding above the storm, Peter rips off his mask, catching his breath. Well, that didn’t go as planned.
the other Peter and the older Peter quickly join him.
The other Peter turns to the older Peter. "What the hell is going on out there?!"
"I keep yelling at you, Peter-Two, Peter-Two, Peter-Two—" the other Peter continued complaining.
"I know, but I thought you were Peter-Two." the older Peter responded.
"What?! I’m not Peter-Two!"
"Stop arguing! Both of you! Listen
to Peter-One. Look, we’re clearly
not very good at this!" Peter stops their argument.
"I know, I know, we suck. I- I don’t know how to work as a team." the other Peter replied.
"Me neither." the older Peter added.
"Well, I do! I have been in a team,
okay? I don’t want to brag, but I will... I was in The Avengers."
"The Avengers?!" the older Peter exclaimed.
"Yeah."
"That’s great!"
"Thank you."
"What is that?" the older Peter then asked.
"Wait. You don’t have The Avengers?" Peter asked them, confused.
"Is that a band? Are you in a band?" the other Peter joined in.
"No, I’m not in a band. No, The Avengers is uh, uh... Earth's mightiest.."
Suddenly, a bolt of electricity course through the sandstorm.
"How’s this helping?!" the older Peter shouted.
"Look, it’s not important. All we gotta do is focus, trust your tingle, and coordinate our attacks, okay?" Peter explained.
"Yes, okay. Let’s pick one target." the older Peter agreed.
"Great." Peter said.
"We take them off the board one at a
time." the other Peter added.
"Now you got it! Okay-" Peter said as he points to himself. "Peter-One." and then he pointed the older Peter. "Peter-Two."
"Peter-Two." the older Peter repeated.
And Peter lastly pointed at the other Peter. "Peter-Three."
"Peter-Three!" the other Peter repeated as well.
"All right. Let’s do this. Ready?" Peter one asked the other Peters.
"Let’s go—" said Peter two.
As they begin to move off Peter three shouted— "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!"
They all stop and then turn back.
"I love you guys." Peter three randomly blurted out.
It was an awkward moment but they take that in.
"Thank you." Peter one and Peter two said at the same time.
"All right, let’s do this." Peter one told them once more.
"Let’s go." Peter two added.
The three of them share a determined look. Three Peters united as one. They pull on their masks and jump off the scaffolding.
— Time Skip, Y/n's POV —
As the three Spider-man simultaneously fire webs, curing the other villains and now attempting to secure Electro. Ned, MJ, and I were still stuck at the lab, still trying to close the portal.
The Lizard breaks free from the webs. He stops as hears Ned and MJ in the lab arguing.
"Um, I don’t really know how else to tell you that it’s not closing." MJ said.
"I’m trying to close it, MJ! Don’t tell them that it’s not working!" Ned replied.
Ned still struggles to close the portal. Deep breaths.
"Okay, wait, wait. Yeah... wait. We’ll just keep going." Ned said, convincing himself.
"All right, no. It’s fine... you're gonna do it again. We’re just gonna keep trying." MJ calmingly said.
"All right, all right, we got it, we got it... we got this! " Ned added.
"Focus. Close the portal.. close the portal... You can do it Ned. I know you can do it." I said to him.
Peter one spots Lizard advancing at the portal!
"Oh no. No, no, no!" he exclaimed.
Peter swings to the portal.
"Woah, What’s happening?!" MJ shouted as she and Ned started panicking.
I quickly pressed the back of my necklace, releasing my suit.
"Y/n?!" MJ shouted and then continued panicking as she saw the lizard. "And that is a lizard!"
"No, no, it’s a big lizard!" Ned shouted as well.
"You should go! I'll distract him, hold the box tight. Don't let them get it!" I said to them as they take off running to the door of the lab but it was too late—
The Lizard leaps through the portal, then crashes through the chairs and lab tables. Ned and MJ ran to the corners.
I blast my repulsors at the Lizard who quickly dodge. I continued striking it, without the intention of killing it, just to distract it. We both continued chasing each other, circling through the lab.
"Come on!" I said, mocking it.
The Lizard got tired of me and run towards Ned and MJ who's running to the portal. I shoot the wall again, trying to stop him from getting the two.
Peter one swings into the portal and kicks Lizard back.
"Run!" he shouted.
Ned and MJ run for their lives. They have no choice but to head through the open portal onto the Statue of Liberty scaffoldings.
Lizard nearly got them but I quickly fly towards him and pulls him back. With Peter helping me because he was too strong.
"I can't hold him for long! he's too strong." I told Peter, struggling to pull the Lizard down.
"Connors, stop!" Peter threatened the Lizard.
The Lizard made a strong pull, breaking free from my hold, I fall back from the impact. "I'm okay!" I shouted, informing Peter. He then quickly followed Connors.
Peter one quickly got the Lizard and they battle it out, tumbling through the portal, back in the Statue of Liberty scaffolding.
But then Lizard slams down Peter, chasing MJ and Ned.
— 3rd POV —
Peter two and Peter three now successfully cured Electro, with the help of Doc Ock.
"There you go. Electro no more. Now Max Dillon. Cured." Doc Ock said as he hold the arc reactor that he removed from Max's chest.
— Y/n's POV —
As I was trying to recover, I stood up and saw MJ and Ned who's running for their lives from the Lizard. Ned desperately tries to open a portal to some place else.
But then the Lizard jumps at them. Though, Ned manages to open a portal! To the bottom of New York Bay! Water floods through... knocking Lizard back.
I quickly soar towards them getting the Lizard's cure.
"Peter!" I called him, throwing the cure at him.
The Lizard jumps forward as Peter grabs the cure and shoves it into Lizard’s gaping jaws. A gas is released. The Lizard staggers backward, beginning to transform.
"Woah!" Ned exclaimed.
Ned and MJ watch, amazed. Then MJ grabs The Box from Ned.
"We gotta hide this thing!" MJ told Ned.
"Oh, right... right, right." Ned responded as he quickly opens a portal. A warm desert breeze blows in, as out of the Mirror Dimension steps— Dr. Strange. Glaring at Ned and MJ. Not happy.
"Where is he?" Strange asked, sounding mad.
Strange magics The Box out of MJ’s hands.
"Suit now in low power mode." your AI MISSY suddenly spoke.
"Shit. Missy, estimate time left before shutting down." you commanded.
"Estimating time left. 10 minutes left before shutting down, Y/n."
"Why is this thing needs recharging?! Not fair!" you complained.
