My mouth went so dry, that even if I could talk, I wouldn't be able to. Truth is, before I met the Avengers, I would have given anything to see my friends again. To see Annabeth again. But now, dying did not seem ideal. It seemed quite bad, actually. Steve looked up at Bruce, concern deep in his eyes; at this point I had become invisible to them. "How- how long?" Steve asked Bruce.
Bruce looked over at me, and then looked up at Steve. "A week, without treatment."
"But you're going to get him something, right?"
"Of course, we're going to try ou-" And then the alarms went off.
