Staying to chat with the three for a bit longer you eventually took your leave, the sun having begun to dip softly into the horizon.

Though the next morning you found yourself trailing back towards the Kujo household; perhaps to check in on Kakyoin or perhaps to see if Jotaro was heading to school, you weren't exactly sure but intuition told you to head over.

Stopping before the front door and raising a hand to knock, it was opened soon after by the redhead you'd been wondering about. His eyes right away trailed across your face before he let out a soft hum, "I would say good morning but it seems like it hasn't been all too good."

Seeing him step to the side you entered the house taking off your shoes all the while sparring him a questioning look.

"What do you mean? It looks like you're doing better?"

"It's Mrs.Holly, she fell ill this morning." Beginning with that he let out a long breath. "Mr.Joestar and Jotaro have been looking over her since this morning. Mr.Avdol has been in the library looking at leads for where Dio could be."

At the mention of the blond you frowned faintly, you assumed him stealing Jonathan's body has affected the entire bloodline.

"So what does she have exactly?"

Glancing towards where you walked beside him, Kakyoin pursed his lips together in thought, "A stand. She developed a stand." beginning with that he trailed towards one room, in particular, the inside of which was lined by various bookshelves and inside was Avdol.

A floating flame drifted through the air before him as the man looked over the pages of a book.

"Sorry. But I am busy at the moment." Calling that out from where he stood the man didn't bother turning to address the two of you.

"Is it actually possible for your own stand to kill you?" That wasn't what you thought was going on, but as the redhead spoke could you understand why everyone was worried.

Sparing a glance towards where the two of you peeked in, Avdol returned to his book answering, "It is. In the past, I have seen many people suffer this fate. Right now, it is only her back. But eventually, that Stand, growing like a fern, will slowly bind Ms.Holly's entire body. She will suffer from a high fever and various illnesses, and then eventually, she will fall into a coma. She will die."

"It will appear to most people she is dying from an unknown illness, and not even the most skilled doctors will be able to cure her. No one, not even you nor (Y/N) nor I, can do anything about it," Setting the book he'd been reading down onto a small pile on the floor his gaze trailed towards you and Kakyoin seeing your somber expressions.

"But there is still hope. It will take about fifty days for her to reach this point. If we are able to destroy the connection with Dio's Stand, we can save her." His assurance was nice and you couldn't help but feel somewhat relieved, Holly was a kind hearted woman, someone who you could closely relate to what your image of an ideal mother was.

Though as the circumstances settled in more and more did you begin to clench your jaw, you didn't think so much could happen in such a short amount of time, but it did.

"Fifty days to destroy the connection." Repeating what he'd said under your breath your attention trailed towards Kakyoin who also seemed to have been in thought about what the older man had said.

Pushing yourself away from the door you slipped past Kakyoin making your way towards where you recalled the kitchen was, if Holly had a fever then bringing her something cold should help bring her temperature down.

An ice pack was pulled out of the freezer before you began trying to find where the woman was being kept, only finding said place when Jotaro's loud voice rang out telling her to stay in bed.

Running over and seeing the ebony haired man standing in the hall he merely let out a humph tilting his head away. Moving to enter the room you right away saw Joseph leaning over the blond, a hand rested over her forehead.

"She's burning up."

"Then it's a good thing I brought this." Calling out towards the older man you held up the ice pack watching him snap his attention up catching sight of it. Kneeling beside the woman's other side you lightly rested the pack on her forehead, eyes trailing across her face taking note that she was paler than the day prior. "How long has she been like this?"

"She collapsed this morning," Taking in a deep breath Joseph raised a hand running it through his hair. "Dio...that bastard." Curling his hands into fists they uncurled quickly after, noticing that you'd gotten up trailing to sit beside him. A hand lightly rested on his shoulder in a comforting way.

"We'll get him- I'll get him this time." Eyes focused on the woman before you, you couldn't help but be annoyed with yourself. This whole Dio situation was beyond you but you couldn't help but feel like if you'd been around perhaps this never would've happened. Maybe if you were a little stronger- a little bit braver- Holly wouldn't be facing the hardest 50 days of her life.

"Mr. Joestar, I have found it." Stepping into the room Avdol held a book in hand, stepping closer towards a table he set it down flipping open to one of the pages "That fly...is here."

Rising up to your feet and trailing over you eyed the name reading out what the page said for the others, "The Nile Ue Ue Fly. One of the only species of flies that is native to the Egyptian Nile River Basin." Seeing that the three of them were hovering over where you read, you looked up at them. "So Egypt? That's where Dio is?"

"We have narrowed its location down to the city of Aswan," Nodding at what you'd said Avdol agreed. "We'll find Dio there."

"You're going to Egypt, huh?" Tilting your head up from the book and looking towards who spoke, your eyes rested on the form of Kakyoin.

"Kakyoin. What do you mean?"

"That flesh bud was implanted in my brain three months ago. While my family and I were at the Nile River during our vacation in Egypt, I met Dio." Giving part of an answer to what Joseph had said, Kakyoin's attention moved off towards Avdol who spoke.

"You were also in Egypt? It appears Dio wants to stay put in Egypt for some reason." Pondering over what the reason could be Avdol moved the book over so he could look at it once more.

"When will you leave? I'll go with you."

Being the first to speak after Kakyoin declared that Jotaro straightened out, "Go with us? Why would you? We already have one tag along."

"To tell you the truth...As for why I suddenly want to go with you...I don't really know." Starting off with that Kakyoin gestured a few times before tapping the bandage still wrapped around his head. "I guess it's because you brought me to my senses. That's all."

Pushing away from the table and moving towards where Holly rested Joseph raised a hand beckoning you over. Moving to hold her head softly he lifted it motioning towards the pack underneath, that of which you swapped out quickly for another pillow.

"She'll be alright." Humming that out softly you looked up to meet Joseph's gaze, worry could clearly be seen swimming within them but your reassurance helped ease his nerves.

Sparing Holly one last glance his eyes hardened before the man rose up, "We're wasting time. We leave immediately!"

With a call and a few minutes later cars were parked outside the Kujo estate and men wearing familiar uniforms began entering.

Standing beside Joseph your eyes followed the men as they ran inside to treat Holly, "They work fast." Musing that out your eyes lingered on a few who glanced your way, murmuring amongst one another afterwards before resuming what they were doing.

Nodding towards what you'd said Joseph trailed his gaze away from the worker focusing on what Avdol was doing, the brunette was shuffling cards before holding them out towards Jotaro, Kakyoin and Joseph.

Watching each of them pick a card you were amazed at how Avdol was able to fit them nearly perfectly. The bruting ebony haired man's bright purple stand now carried the name Star Platinum, after the star card. The next up were Joseph and Kakyoin who both got the stand names Hermit Purple and Hierophant Green, while Avdols stand remained with it's previous name Magicians Red.

Each name was fitting to the person's stand and you almost wished you'd waited before naming your own stand.

Clearing his throat to garner the group's attention once more Joseph called out, voice firm and full of determination. "All right, we're off!"

A car was already waiting outside and without any more questions the lot of you loaded in, the destination being the international airport.

Destination: Egypt.

Wanting to ask how the hell Joseph was able to book a flight that same day, you also felt like in doing so you'd end up in a very long- very boring in depth conversation about his relation to the Speedwagon foundation.

You get it, he's buddy buddy with them- congratulations.

Maybe if you didn't die on that volcano you'd be buddy buddy with them too.

Thinking back to everything that happened back then you couldn't help but laugh faintly to yourself, your life always somehow ended up connected to a Zeppeli or Joestar in one way or another.

Whether they become your neighbor, training partner, or classmate.

It always comes full circle.
