We watched, mesmerised, as my newly hatched dark twilight-gray dragonet broke free from her shell prison and into this dangerous world. She was slim and beautiful, with silver scales scattered across her underwings and framing her dark green eyes. Her tail ended in a barb like her fathers, but when it collided with my talons, it showed no proof of being venomous.
"Twilight." I breathed, and my perfect daughter was named.
