Approaching the gates of U.A., [Name] couldn't believe their eyes. There were so many reporters with microphones and cameras, all crowded together like a big jungle of equipment. It hit them: the press was here for All Might's teaching position in U.A. Knowing they had to get through this crowd to enter the school, [Name] felt nervous. They started thinking about ways to make their way through all those people blocking the entrance. However, every turn they look was covered with reporters. There is nowhere to go.

With each step [Name] rolled, reporters swarmed around them like bees to honey, their questions firing off like rapid projectiles. Trying to slouch and blend in only seemed to draw more attention, intensifying the barrage of questions bombarding them from all sides.

"Hey! What's it like to have All Might as a teacher?" a determined woman reporter stepped in front of [Name].

Panic gripped [Name] as the relentless onslaught of reporters closed in around them. The air felt thick with tension, and a suffocating sense of being overwhelmed descended upon them. Their heart raced, the orchestra of the crowd echoing like distant waves crashing against the shore. Microphones were thrust toward their face from all directions, creating a suffocating environment of relentless questioning that seemed to drown out all other sounds.

Desperately, [Name] tried to slink away in their colorful rollerblades, taking small, shaky steps back and hunching their shoulders in an attempt to make themselves less noticeable. But it was no use-the reporters swarmed around them like bees, leaving no room to escape.

[Name] frantically tried to voice their excuse to leave, but their words were drowned out by the sounds of shouting reporters.

As the reporters continued to swarm around [Name], their heart raced with anxiety, and they struggled to catch their breath amidst the chaos. The pushing and grabbing made them feel like they were suffocating, trapped in a sea of bodies with no way to escape. Suddenly, a voice cut through the chaos-a deep, confident male voice that commanded attention. [Name] turned to see the boy they had defeated in Heroics class the day before. His expression was resolute, his eyes ablaze with anger and determination.

"Hey, leave them alone," he said firmly, stepping forward to shield [Name] from the reporters. "I don't think it would look good for you guys to be harassing students. Can't you see [Last Name]-san is about to have a panic attack?"

[Name] felt a rush of gratitude wash over them towards the boy. It was as if he had sensed their distress and appeared as their unexpected savior. His commanding words seemed to have an immediate effect, causing some of the reporters to back off slightly. [Name] took a few deep breaths, trying to calm their racing heart and steady their nerves. With a shaky voice, they managed to squeak out a heartfelt "thank you" to the boy, their voice barely audible amidst the chaos.

The crowd of reporters began to back away in shock as the boy stepped in to defend them. He reached out and gently took hold of [Name]'s wrist, pulling them through the throng of people. After all, it didn't take to long for most of the reporters to know the kid in front of them was N.O 2 Pro-Hero's son.

[Name] felt a sense of relief wash over them as they were guided towards the school gate.

"Ah, thank-" [Name] tried to say once again but was cut off by the boy as he let go of their wrist. They looked at him in confusion, but he didn't seem to care or notice.

"Don't expect much from me," the boy said. "I didn't save you because I wanted to. I saved you because I am here to declare that we are rivals now. I am not here to make friends." Without a single word, he walks away.

"W-Wait, what is your name?" [Name] calls out to him.

The boy turns around. His rival does need to know who they are up against, "Todoroki, Todoroki Shouto."

[Name] repeats his name under their breath as they watch him walk away. For some odd reason, they couldn't help but think Todoroki was so cool at that moment. Their knight in shining armor, their face heated up at the thought as they shook their head to drive those thoughts away.

As Todoroki walked away, [Name]'s heart filled with gratitude towards him, feeling a deep sense of appreciation for his timely intervention. They watch him until he disappears from sight, his figure gradually fading into the distance. With a renewed sense of purpose and determination, [Name] made their way inside the school building. They pushed what just transpired to the back of their head for another time.

With each step they take, [Name] feels a burst of energy flowing through them. Today is another chance to get better and learn more, and they're determined not to waste it. Even though they can't stop thinking about Todoroki and how he helped them, [Name] stays focused on their goals. They're not going to let anything distract them from making the most of the day ahead, especially those pesky adults. They know they have to get used to them as they will be a hero in the future, but they can't help but let their social anxiety get the best of them.

As they walk down the bustling hallways, [Name] notices curious glances from their fellow students, who seem to be wondering what had occurred outside the school gates. After all, everyone faced the same chaotic scene with the pack of reporters. But [Name] doesn't pay much attention to the stares, lost in their own thoughts about the recent events.

Their mind couldn't help but drift back to Todoroki's intervention and how he bravely stepped in to help them navigate through the crowd. The memory brings a warm feeling to [Name]'s chest, and for a moment, they couldn't help but feel flustered by his actions. There's something about Todoroki that makes them envision him as a prince-a noble and gallant figure, exuding an aura of regality. It's as if he was destined for greatness, even in another life.

As [Name] enters their classroom, they can't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for what the day will bring. They took a seat and slouched on their desk as they waited for the class to begin. Moments later, Aizawa-sensei walks in with a stack of papers under his arm.

Aizawa-sensei, their homeroom teacher, strides to the podium with a stack of papers in hand. "Good work on yesterday's combat training," he begins, addressing the class. "I saw the videos and notes. Bakugo, you are talented, don't act like a kid."

[Name] observes as Bakugo lets out a grunt in response to the teacher's comment. [Name] knows Bakugo's personality well enough to think that he might lash out at Aizawa-sensei, but something about his demeanor is different today. There's a tension in Bakugo's body language that they can't quite put their finger on.

"Got it..." Bakugo mumbles under his breath. Taking no offense, Aizawa-sensei nods.

"Midoriya," the green-haired boy looked up as his name was called. "Try to not break your arm all the time. Get that quirk under control, please. I am sure Recovery Girl wouldn't like to see you in her office every week."

"Yes, sir!" Midoriya squeaks in embarrassment.

"[Last Name]." Aizawa-sensei calls to the daydreaming student. [Name] almost let out a sound in fright but quickly composed themselves.

"Yes, sir?" [Name] lets out an innocent look.

"Don't go jumping out of windows like that," he repeats with a heavy sigh, "you might give someone a heart attack with that stunt." He glances around the room, taking in the faces of his students. He was one of those people. [Name] looks back at him with a neutral expression, but Aizawa-sensei can see the hint of mischief in their eyes.

He knows that [Name] probably won't keep their promise to behave, but he decides not to dwell on it. There are more important things to discuss with the class.

"Sorry for the late notice, but it's time to get down to homeroom business," he said. The students became unsettled, looking at each other with worry. "It's time to decide the class representatives."

A collective sigh of relief swept through the classroom, dissolving the tension that had gripped everyone in a tight hold moments earlier. It had been nerve-wracking, as some had feared that Aizawa-sensei was about to spring a surprise pop quiz on them. He had the demeanor of someone who might do such a thing, and [Name] wouldn't have been surprised if he threatened the class with an explosion if anyone dared to irritate him.

With the revelation that it wasn't a test after all, the students broke out into chatter, their relieved but excited voices filling the room. Everyone wanted the position of Class President even if some of them didn't know what that really meant or the work that goes into it.

"Oh! Oh! Pick me to be a class rep!" Kirishima threw both of his arms into the air.

Amidst the chaos, [Name] couldn't help but feel a tad exasperated. It seemed like all of their classmates had suddenly thrown their hats into the ring, battling for the position of class representative.

"Vote for me instead!" Kaminari was shouting out his desire to be nominated, his voice cutting through shouting voices. [Name] couldn't help but feel like some of their classmates were simply looking for a chance to shine in the spotlight. However, they were taken aback to see Jirou also voicing her desire to be nominated. [Name] had always assumed her as someone who preferred to keep a low profile, making her sudden bid for the class representative position all the more surprising.

"No, way! I deserve that fucking spot!" Bakugo's voice boomed through the classroom.

[Name] couldn't help but roll their eyes at Bakugo's predictable behavior. He always seemed to crave the spotlight, never one to shy away from a chance to assert himself. It was a tad frustrating to witness so many of their classmates treating the position of class representative as though it were a prize to be won through sheer determination and vocal prowess. Instead of recognizing that it was a role that demanded dedication and responsibility, all of them seemed more focused on the glory that came with it.

"Quiet down!" Iida stands up with his arm in the air. "It is a job with the serious responsibility of leading others. It is not just a job for anyone who wants to do it. It is a calling that requires the trust of those around you. If we want to use democracy to decide on a true leader, then we should hold an election to choose one."

'America style,' [Name] jokes to themselves.

"lida, your hand is raised the highest," [Name] commented slyly as they estimated how far his arm is from the rest of the class.

"Why did you suggest that?" Kaminari questioned.

Asui's soft voice cut through the buzz of the classroom, her words prompting [Name] to pause and reflect. "We haven't known each other for that long," she remarked, a statement that rang with truth. [Name] couldn't help but acknowledge the validity of Asui's observation.

As they pondered Asui's words, [Name] began to consider who might truly be the best fit for the role of class representative. It was clear that some students would vote for the person they believed to be the strongest leader, while others might cast their votes out of a desire to hold a position of power themselves. Which brings up the question of who they are going to vote for.

"If that's the case, and everyone votes for themselves.." Kirishima trailed off, his brow furrowed in deep thought. [Name] could see that Kirishima was mistaken in his assumption that everyone would automatically vote for themselves. In reality, some students might be more inclined to support someone else they perceive as a strong leader or a better fit for the role.

As the discussion continued, [Name] silently weighed their options for class representatives, considering which candidate would truly be the best fit for the position. It was a decision that required careful consideration, taking into account not only leadership qualities but also the ability to collaborate and represent the interests of the entire class.

"Don't you think that is precisely why whoever receives multiple votes here can be truly considered the most suitable person?" lida said. "What do you think, Sensei?" [Name] is happy that Iida also saw it that way.

Aizawa zipped up his yellow sleeping bag and flopped over onto the classroom floor like a fish out of water. "I do not care. It has to be done before homeroom ends."

As [Name] sits at their desk, they engage in thoughtful thinking about who among their classmates would be the most suitable for the role of class representative. Observing their peers, [Name] carefully considers their personalities, strengths, and actions during the recent discussions.

After a moment of reflection, Iida comes to mind. [Name] recalls how Iida demonstrated impressive leadership skills a few moments ago, taking charge amidst the chaos of the class argument over the class representative position. Inspired by his ability to remain composed and assertive in such a challenging situation, [Name] decides that Iida would make an excellent choice for class representative.

With determination, [Name] grabs a piece of white paper from the front of the room and neatly writes Iida's name on it. Folding the paper carefully, they place it into the designated ballot box. As [Name] settles back into their seat, they can't help but ponder who else will be nominated and ultimately elected to represent their class, eager to see the outcome of the election.

---------------------

Election Results

[Last Name] [Name] - 5 votes

Midoriya Izuku - 3 votes

After the announcement of the class representatives, [Name] couldn't help but feel surprised at the result. They had never considered themselves leadership material and hadn't actively campaigned for the position. As they looked around the room, trying to discern who might have voted for them, they couldn't be certain. The unexpected turn of events left them feeling both bewildered and honored.

Despite their initial reluctance, [Name] realized that they couldn't turn down the position. They had always been known for their sense of responsibility and couldn't bring themselves to back down from a challenge, especially one that their peers had entrusted them with. With a deep breath and a newfound determination, [Name] resolved to embrace their role as class representative and do their best to serve their classmates to the best of their abilities.

"Why them? Who voted for them!" Bakugo was clearly not happy with the outcome. He slammed his fist on the desk and grumbled about the result. [Name] couldn't help but feel amused at his reaction. They knew exactly how to push his buttons after seeing his outburst over the course of two days and could see the frustration on his face.

As Aizawa-sensei announced the results of the class representative elections. "The class rep is [Last Name] and the class deputy is Midoriya," he declared. [Name] was surprised and still couldn't believe they were chosen for the position, but they stood up and walked to the front of the class alongside Midoriya.

"Better than you." Sero's jab at Bakugo made [Name] chuckle inwardly, and they wanted to give him a high five. Bakugo was visibly annoyed but didn't say anything back as Aizawa-sensei gave him a look.

As [Name] stood next to Midoriya, they could sense his anxiety. It was evident in his trembling hands and nervous expression. [Name] decided to take the lead and comfort Midoriya, reassuring him that everything would be okay and they would work together to make the class better. Midoriya gave them a thankful look as he looked a bit calmer now.

"This might be exciting," Asui said as she looked at the new class reps.

"What done is done! They are pretty awesome! It is getting my blood pumped up!" Kirishima smiles brightly and even sparkles once again around him.

---------------------

[Name] places their [favorite food] on the table with a loud thud, causing the others to jump in surprise. Despite the strong urge to slam their hands on the table, they resist it, realizing that it might not make the best impression. Gradually, Hakagure, Ojiro, Jirou, Shoji, and Tokoyami take their seats around the table. Tokoyami settles down on [Name]'s right, while Jirou takes the seat on their left. Hakagure, Shoji, and Ojiro occupy the seats in front of the three, arranging themselves in that order.

After a brief moment of settling in, [Name] turns to face the others and glares at them with an intense look in their eyes. "Okay, who was it? Who voted for me?" they demanded in a low growl, making the others shift in their seats awkwardly and nervously chuckle.

"I totally didn't vote for you..."

Hakagure immediately denied it, but [Name] knew she was lying. It was pretty obvious even if she was invisible.

As the others continued to deny it or stay silent, [Name] let out a sigh. "Okay, that is one person."

Ojiro then suggested, "We need to teach you to lie better," causing Hakagure to fake a crying sound.

But then, to everyone's surprise, Tokoyami calmly stated, "I voted for you."

The others expected [Name] to be taken aback by Tokoyami's blunt honesty, but deep down, they felt a sense of gratitude for it. Tokoyami had a point-it was better to address the issue openly now rather than risk [Name] discovering it later and potentially reacting negatively.

"Is it safe to assume all of you guys voted for me?" [Name] placed a palm on their face as all of them nodded and released a tired sigh. "I hope I do a good job then. It is too late to change what already happened. "

"I am sure you will do a good job!" Hakagure tries to cheer [Name] up.

"Yeah. You are pretty much one of the strongest in the class." Ojiro eats a piece of rice.

"You even beat me too," Shoji said as he picked up his lunch.

"Plus, you won first place in the entrance exam, and the quirk assessment," Jirou pointed out. Before [Name] could say something an alarm blares.

"There has been a level 3 security breach. All students please evacuate outdoors promptly."

"Huh!?" Hakagure cries out in surprise.

"Isn't that the emergency alarm?" Tokoyami looks around for any sign of danger.

"Does that mean villains are in the school?!" Jirou cried out as the students in the cafeteria stood up and hurried into the hallway.

"Wait until everyone leaves!" [Name] yells in urgency as they notice the students piling up.

"But don't we have to go!?" Ojiro looks ready to bolt.

"I agree. The alarm said for us to leave," Shoji crosses his arms.

"Look at them," [Name] points at the rushing students. "It is about to be a stampede in the hallways!" The others look at each other trying to figure out what to do but decide, in the end, to put their trust in [Name]. They stood by their chairs as they waited for the crowd to calm down.

As the final students left, the group walked towards the hallway.

"Oh dear, some people will be hurt," [Name] bites their nails in anxiety. As they made their way into the hallway, they couldn't believe the horror as students were trying to push the others to leave.

"This is super bad!" Hakague moved her hands to cover her mouth as she looked at the crowd.

"I might be able to calm them, but I do not know if I should. I can cause a bigger panic!" [Name] tries to look for something that could help them. Iida comes to the rescue as he finds himself on top of the doorway and yells that it is just the media. The students started to calm down and exited in a fashionable manner.

"...I don't think it is just the media," Tokoyami states as his eyes narrow.

"Wait what-?" Jirou looks at him in confusion.

"I agree." [Name] licks their lips in thought.

"It is because of how did the media get here in the first place, that means something happened to the gates." Tokoyami crosses his arms at his conclusion.

"Now that you are talking about it, it is suspicious," Ojiro scratches his cheek.

"I am sure the teachers will handle it," Shoji tries to pacify the theorists in the group.

"I don't care. Do your conspiracy theories later. Let's follow the others," Hakagure drags Jirou and [Name] as the boys follow after.

---------------------

[Name] stood up with the ever-anxious Midoriya in front of the classroom.

"Now, let's decide on the other class officers." They almost wanted to leave the classroom due to how anxious they were. However, their friends believed that [Name] would make a good class president, and hell [Name] would be the best class president this school has ever seen. If it were up to [Name] they would've given the position to someone like Yaoyorozu.

"Um, [Last Name]-san..?"

"Yes, Midoriya?" [Name] looks at their friend as they notice the way Midoriya is glancing at Iida.

"I'd like to say something first."

"Of course, the floor is yours." [Name] gestures for Midoriya to step forward, and he did.

"I..... I think that lida Tenya should take my place..!" Midoriya announced as he played with his fingers.

"How come?" [Name] tilts their head.

"Because he was able to get everyone's attention during the alarm. He was able to calm everyone down. I think it would be best for lida to take my spot." He explained. [Name] made an "oh" sound as they now understood Midoriya's anxiety. It certainly explains why Midoriya is having trouble announcing his thoughts.

"Are you okay with being the deputy Iida-san? I mean I know you wanted to be the president...." [Name] glances away from looking at Iida. A part of them feared Iida's answer.

Iida stands up and walks to the podium. [Name] looks at his form, but they don't make eye contact. "[Last Name]-san, if you were voted as a class representative it is because they saw you as a leader. I am okay with being the class deputy. Please take care of me!" Iida bowed.

[Name] felt their face warm up at Iida's action.

"I should be saying that!" [Name] waves their arms around like a baby bird learning how to fly.

"Nonsense!"

Midoriya smiled at the two in front of him and went to his seat as Iida took his position next to [Name].

"We are your class representatives!" [Name] and Iida bow as the students clap happily. "Please take care of us!"

As [Name] straightened their back they couldn't help but say, "...An excellent leader must be passionate because it's their duty to keep moving forward," [Name] said with a smile, and only Iida heard as the students chatter to each other in excitement of their newly chosen class representatives.

"...I agree [Last Name]-san," Iida lets out a small smile as he adjusts his glasses.

---------------------

The class had just concluded its classes, and [Name] and Iida the newly elected as the class president and vice president, respectively. As they were packing their things, they were informed about the upcoming meeting with Class 1-B's president and vice president by Aizawa-sensei.

Approaching the designated spot, [Name] spotted Itsuka Kendo and Nirengeki Shoda waiting for them. Itsuka's confident stance and Nirengeki's composed demeanor signaled a different but complementary dynamic within Class 1-B.

"Hey, [Name]! Iida!" Itsuka called out with a welcoming smile.

"Hello there!" Nirengeki added with a nod.

"Hi, Kendo-san, Shoda-san!" [Name] greeted, leading with a smile. "I'm [Name], and this is Iida. We just got elected as class president and vice president."

Itsuka's eyes lit up with interest. "Oh, that's great! Nice to meet you officially. I'm Itsuka Kendo, Class 1-B's president."

Iida offered a respectful bow. "Pleased to meet you, Kendo-san. I'm Tenya Iida, the vice president of Class 1-A."

Nirengeki Shoda extended a hand in a composed manner. "Nirengeki Shoda, vice president of Class 1-B."

Note: I added a scene of [Name] and Iida meeting the class president and VP of class 1-b. I know they didn't meet them until the sports festival but I plan to change that when I come to that chapter to edit it.
