Ben knew this would happen, but that didn't stop him from laughing and rolling on the ground, Bennie looked like she was 5 while Max was suddenly 10 again, He laughed hard but knowing this wasn't the time to be unserious, It was hero time.
"Hector, the effects are temporary right?" Ben reconfirmed while wiping off a tear from his eyes his expression shifting to become serious.
"Yes, The influence of the fountain of youth isn't long-lasting" Hector replied
"Ben this isn't funny we need to stop Hex," Bennie said, Ben chuckled due to the accent in her voice.
"Sure I understand, but you shouldn't be talking when adults are talking sweetie," Ben reprimanded her seriously before he started laughing seriously but not before he took pictures with his phone.
Hector seemed to be growing more and more impatient "please I need your help, if Hex gets to the underground spring before we do the effects would be catastrophic." He begged.
"Then let's go" Max yelled energetically before he started running in a random direction, Gwen followed him to bring him back.
Time skip
Ben, Bennie and Gwen left Hector and Max to go to the underground spring, Gwen learned of the coordinates from Hector while Bennie stuck to Ben, "can't you change me back, my magic is all messed up and weird." Bennie begged, Ben, sighed and looked at Gwen "where is the location of the spring again?" He asked, he could fix this thing rather easily with magic but he wanted to keep that as a trump card while over-relying on the Omnitrix.
"Stop ignoring me" Bennie yelled before she yawned, her eyes slowly closing "I'll go for a quick nap," she said before falling asleep in Bens's arms.
"Finally, Gwen, when she wakes up we'll probably be in the fountain of youth, get her to turn into heat blast then make her go supernova K?" Ben asked as he could see the entrance of the cave in his line of sight, the scenes would be dramatic.
With Max
Hector found it difficult to keep it so he had to speak "I might have never been thought how to sense the environment or living things to perfection but the fact you don't have any presence or aura is disturbing." Hector started at Max as the said person remained silent and walked to the coordinates he was told while thinking 'Not everything must be understood.' Hector did not want to hurt the grandfather of the 3 young superhumans knowing it would bring more harm than even Hex himself so he kept quiet and they prevail in silence.
With Gwendolyn
"That's why Ben isn't here, he knew it made no difference helping you cause he doesn't help spoilt children like you." Gwen teased Bennie, internally praising her acting skills.
"THAT'S A LIE" Bennie yelled as the temperature spiked drastically, Hex's amusement was barely hidden he found it spectacular to see siblings fight at such a crucial moment, that was till he noticed the lake water had started bubbling, "hold on you brat!".
"It's not a lie, Ben left because he found you useless" Gwen drew the last straw as Bennie exploded into hot raging flames that affected every single inch of the place, Gwen formed a barrier in self-defence but the intense flames were not only slowly breaking through the barrier it felt as if she was being cooked alive with no air supply.
"Bennie I'm right here." Ben's voice spoke through the fire somehow although Gwen couldn't see him she could tell that the fact that she hasn't been incinerated was due to his help, though the cracks spread slowly after his voice sounded out the flames died in her vision was Ben in his big Chill form floating towards Bennie who slept off due to excessive energy outlet.
Picking her off the Ground he noticed Gwen was still stuck in the Ice barrier he made while using Big chills Intangibility and secretly using magic to enhance the barrier, but he couldn't stop the flames because he didn't use enough magic so he wouldn't be exposed, especially to Hex.
Gwen asked, "Did you see Hex?" Realising his presence vanished before the flames covered the underground spring and Ben trying to give a sarcastic look with Big chill, realizing how stupid the question was she blushed then walked away putting one leg before the other she was gone.
'The drive of this girls, Hex didn't go anywhere I buried him in the ground so charm caster would find him, but I'll loot his belongings.' Ben summoned a paper and pinned it to a new baby hex forehead before he checked him and found 2 charms of Bezel in it, and ingredients to potions, carrying it and giving Hex candy in return he teleported him to the place he sensed Charmcaster.
'Life is good' Ben left with Bennie in his arms and a smile on his face.
Time skip
"Jeez, I said I'm sorry, I only said that because I needed you to go supernova" Gwen apologised to Bennie for the umpteenth time.
"I'm not having any of that, You said that because it's what you've been wanting to say, admit it." Bennie provoked by the words started the argument immediately after she returned to her normal age.
"You hate the fact I am closer to Ben, he's my twin brother for crying out loud, meaning if we wanna shower together, sleep together or anything it's normal," Bennie said, Ben, choked but faced the window.
"Girls fighting for guys at this age isn't reasonable, both of you stop arguing or I'll turn this car around and go to a retirement home," Max said not being able to turn back to yell at his grandkids.
Bennie cast a dome that didn't let the sound go out but allowed it to come in "You never had an interest in him so why now?" She asked.
"Who told you that? Ben used to be annoying and brattish who wouldn't listen to me unless we were arguing or worse, now he's changed and I am attracted to the change." Gwen said, before Ben grew tired of blushing like an idiot, "I want to sleep Bennie kill the dome," immediately she did Ben carried her and Gwen using telekinesis and entered their room, which was a bunk bed the top belonged to Gwen and the other was shared by Ben and Bennie.
"Just sleep," he said before he placed them on the bed and laid on them, Gwen blushed red and Bennie simply hugged him though she wants sleepy.
With Max
Max pov
Bennie also knows magic, that's nice, after all, I would expect no less from a grandkid of mine, I hope they are ready for what would eventually happen.

Time skip
"Well here we are kids, I thought we should spend some quality time together," Max said as he passed into the parking lot.
"A Carnival, sure we could do that," Ben said before he walked out of the moving van, "Ben that's Dangerous!" Max yelled from the front seat.
'I could handle like an all-out battle with an advanced magic warrior with magic and maybe my body's defence, but I can't jump out a moving truck?! As if!.' Ben thought as he brought out his tongue and ran into the carnival mistakenly bumping into a stranger, he apologised and left.
The stranger sighed before he pulled out a phone to make a call he spoke " The bomb has been planted." Then he walked out.
"He's not this excited, something is off." Bennie and Gwen ran after him leaving Max to himself 'at least I'm sure they have each other backs.'
"Ben!" Gwen caught up to him first, "leave me alone dweeb" Ben ignored her as he shrugged her off, and ran into the crowd and just like that he vanished his presence itself no longer come out.
"What's that all about?" Bennie asked as Gwen slowly started remembering back when she and he were in a constant argument phase, she didn't want that.
"Girls I finally caught up to you, my dear back, let's go have fun, don't worry about him, Ben is strong enough to take care of himself and smart enough to avoid unnecessary trouble," Max said before he pulled them to a prize shelf.
"I just hope you're right Grandpa," Gwen said as Bennie shrugged and walked with Gwen.
Darkly lit room.
"The bombs are set" A voice spoke.
"You mean to tell me, with a tap of a button I could end numerous lives?" Another voice said with sick humour in his expression before laughing maniacally.
Ben stood in their midst starting at them but they didn't notice him he was under Big chill's transformation and intangible plus him being traceless and the dim colour of the room, Big chill felt like a ghost.
"When do we blow the place up?" Someone asked Ben paying attention to the whole thing.
"Anytime, we need to harness the aura of death from the place, we would get famous and stronger at the same time," The person holding the remote said, he then stopped talking as there was an ice blade through his stomach.
"I dislike pointless killing, that's why I like sharp objects" Big chill's voice was heard in the darkroom but no one could see him, the room slowly became enclosed with ice, as He killed everything and everyone he saw in his view.
"Please who are you!? Why are you doing this!?" The last person yelled as he turned around looking for Bigchill just for him to be grabbed behind his head as sweat ran down from his face "My family never pick a normal sight to relax in, sure as hell not going to make them move so I had to make you fall." As Bigchill spoke Ice slowly covered the terrorist's face, he felt death incoming, trying his best to defend himself he threw a flaming punch at Bigchill's face, but his fist was met with razor-sharp ice shards before Bigchill broke his head.
Greenlight flashed and now Ben was Swampfire visible gases could be seen coming off his pores till they filled every inch of the place then he snapped his fingers acting as a spark, and the building exploded.
Time skip: next day
Ben was making breakfast while Max watched the news with Gwen and Bennie doing chores.
"Ben, do you know what happened to the building?" Max asked Ben while watching the news on next day.
"No, I was talking to a girl," Ben defended he then showed a black ring he randomly saw in his Omnitrix, "she has a similar pair but in green".
Gwen and Bennie had a jealous expressions, but none of them voiced it out.
'What I suffer to keep this family safe' Ben sighed before he decided to continue making breakfast
