Elina POV.
I have been in a very bad mood, ever since i got my period in the middle of the night.
And the fact that there would be a duo fight with one of the members today, just made everything worse.
I wonder who would be fighting me today.
"Since Brittany is on a leave today Elina you will take her place."
Linda said to me as i was warming up.
"What does that mean?"
"You'll have to fight twice."
I gasped.
"Why is she on a leave?"
"Period cramps."
So am i a joke now? I made up my mind and thought of taking a leave too.
"I'm on my period too."
"Nice way to escape practice."
Linda spoke calmly. She is just testing my patience now.
"No. If you want i can strip out of my clothes to show you the blood."
I spat, sarcasm evident in my voice.
"Ew that's disgusting."
"You don't feel disgusted when you see blood during fights but period blood disgusts you?"
I rolled my eyes. I was speaking literally anything out of anger.
Oh god, I so mad ?!
I lowkey regretted saying rude words to her.
"You are gonna fight twice. that's it."
This was one of the reason why i need a close female friend. Atleast someone would have been there to cover me up or defend me like how Linda covers up for her teammates.
But i have to stand up for myself.
I didn't say much to her and sat where others were.
"Let's start with Edward and Ava."
My anger melted away. Damn who is going to be beaten up more?
Both of then begin to fight, throwing punches. They both seemed hesitant in throwing punches, afraid of hurting each other severely.
None of them tackled each other down and it was a tie.
"Elina and Alina next up."
Linda said, passing a smirk my way.
Alina is one aggressive fighter of the group just like Me. But since I'm on my periods it would difficult for me to fight like how i do usually.
I was ready in my position.
I am prepared to get my ass beaten up.
Honestly speaking, i don't care if i lose today, i just wanna protect my face. Thats my motive.
"Start!"
Teddy's voice snapped me out of my trance. Alina directly aimed towards me but i dodged her somehow.
I dodged her punches for a long time but suddenly she caught me and pinned me on the ground.
"Eli!!"
I heard Harry's voice. Okay, I'll try to win for Harry.
Alina punched me across my face, then kicked me in stomach.
I whimpered in pain, my cramps came back at the same time.
Alina abruptly stopped her movements, hovering on top of me.
"Are you okay?"
She whispered. She immediately let her gaurd down.
I took advantage of this took my revenge. I punched and kicked her the same way she did to me. Unfortunately, i wasn't strong enough.
In the end Alina won. I was lowkey sulking.
I placed my palm on my lower tummy wanting to take break. The pain was getting worse, so was my mood.
Edward kept on sending concerning looks my way, i assured him I'm okay.
I was just too tired to even speak.
"Linda and Elina."
Alina spoke, this time with a smirk. She is probably mad that i took advantage of her off-gaurd state.
Not again..
I stood up but Edward said.
"She isn't going to fight twice. Fight me."
"B-but she herself said she wanna take up Brittany's place!"
Edward looked my way to see if that was true.
I sighed and shook my head.
"Elina changed her mind now. Fight me Linda."
Edward demanded. Linda threw a death glare my way. In the end Edward won the battle and Linda continued to give me hateful looks throughout the practice.
I was annoyed.
It was evening now. I was in the living room, drinking the cold orange juice Teddy made for me.
I kept my drink on the table and scrolled through my contact list.
When i took my glass of orange juice again, it was empty!
I gasped.
"Jack are you fucking kidding me?"
"What?"
Jack looked at me nonchalantly. He is a dumbbitch.
"You fucking drank my-"
He pulled me close by the collar of my shirt.
"Keep your voice down woman. Don't you fucking speak to me in that tone."
I was shook. How dare he invade my private space!
I pushed him away.
"I-"
"Elina, please stop touching me that way."
He cut me off suddenly.
I frowned. I turned around to see a shocked Alina standing behind me.
"Y-you... Elina why the heck are you forcing yourself on him!"
She yelled. Her face showed anger.
"I'm not!"
I yelled back annoyed. What is happening!?
As i argued with Alina, Jack slowly walked away from the scene.
"Edward cares about you so much, and this what you do for him in return? Seduce other guys?!"
"I have never ever seduced anyone! "
I panted. What does she even know about me?
"Oh please! This is the second time i have seen you so close to Jack! You are a whore!"
That hurt me. The word itself makes me so uncomfortable.
My heart broke when she said that. I felt like crying suddenly.
"I'm not.."
I whispered.
"You have no idea how much Edward cares for you, he thinks of you so nice, and you are such a disappointment Elina!"
She kept on speaking some bullshit like that.
It was too much for me to take in and i raised my hand to slap her.
She never received the slap because Edward held my wrist in his gentle grip.
"What is happening here? Why are you yelling?"
What would Edward say? Would he fall for her lies?
"Elina is-"
I yanked my hand away from Edward's grip and slapped Alina across her face.
"Elina what the hell?!"
Edward yelled. He frowned while looking at me.
"What is up with you? Atleast tell me!"
"She is a fucking liar! I have nothing to do with Jack!"
I let out angrily. I was on the verge of crying.
"Wha- Alina what-"
Alina walked away from us, out of the house.
Edward cussed under his breathe.
"She misunderstood between me and Jack a-and ... "
I couldn't complete my sentence. I didn't want Edward to know I'm crying.
"Seriously, I'll be right back."
He muttered and walked away in the same direction where Alina went.
That was the moment i lost it all.
His girlfriend is a fucking crying mess here but he has the audacity to approach another woman?
I ran towards my room and cried a lot.
Edward POV
I Chased Alina out of the house.
"The fuck was happening?"
"She was touching Jack intimately!"
Alina snapped back. I hate how she said some weird shit about my girlfriend.
"Are you stupid? I already told you she has nothing to do with Jack, you still approached her?"
Alina went silent for a bit.
"Alina , stop being childish. Let me tell you, Jack is deliberately trying to create misunderstandings between her and others, i have threatened him many times yet he won't listen to me."
"I-i..."
She finally responded. I hope she realised her mistake.
"Shit.."
I cursed under my breathe.
"And now Elina thinks we both have something going on."
"Eww what the fuck.."
Alina immediately groaned. I imitated her actions.
Mutuals feelings bestie.
"Edward, did you tell her about us?"
She asked. Oh i didn't.
"No, i didn't."
"You are a foolish guy Edward, go and fucking clear the misunderstanding!"
I frowned. This woman confuses me so much.
"So you do accept that Elina and Jack aren't involved in any way right?"
She nodded at my question like a little kid.
"Good. Now don't you dare fucking yell at my girl. Treat her with respect."
I spat. She shrugged.
"'Kay man, now go go."
I walked inside Elina's room. She was asleep.
I definitely made her upset. I wonder if she will forgive me.
But i was going to apologise to her.
"Baby?"
I whispered as slid under the covers next to her. She hummed, her eyes still closed.
"I am sorry, please wake up."
I kissed her forehead as i pulled her in arms.
After a few minutes she was up. She looked at me for a minute and immediately maintained her distance.
I was hurt. But i deserved it.
"I need to tell you something important."
She looked away from me.
"Go ahead."
Came her small voice. I sighed.
"Elina, Alina is my sister's best friend."
A gasp left her lips.
"Thats why Alina kept on approaching me when she was new here. She wanted to confirm if I'm Jenna's brother."
"S-so.. oh god.. Edward you could have told me this sooner.."
She sighed, looking completely disappointed.
"Sorry.."
"I-i slapped her.. i need to apologise."
She had a pained expression.
"Elina, what did Jack say to you?"
"He drank my juice."
I blinked my eyes, processing whatever she said.
Juice..okay..
"Looks i need to use violence now because that's the only way Jack is gonna obey."
She gasped and held my hand.
"Just don't hurt yourself please."
"Yes. And i just want you to know that i love you, only you. I will never ever get intimate with someone who is not you. Trust Me."
She caressed my cheeks and spoke.
"I never lost my trust in you Edward. Infact, I'm not even worried about you cheating on me. I was just a bit moody. I know there's nothing going on between you and Alina now ."
I sighed out of relief. I'm so lucky to have such an understanding girlfriend.
I'm glad we talked it out and cleared the huge misunderstanding.

Well um, how was the plot twist? Alina is Edward's sister's bestie. Lol. She not that evil but she definitely rude 🙄
Before anyone comes at Elina or Edward, keep in mind that both of them had a tough past. Elina doesn't have a mother or any close female who would hear out her deepest thoughts, her rants. Obviously she can't spill everything to Edward. If anyone trying to attack Elina for 'crying' a lot, just know it isn't so easy for her to cope with these new feelings, + she has never been in love before.
