The galloping travelled from the cracked floor, townsfolk rejoiced at the sight of the returning Madrigal.

"Mirabel! She's back!" The joyful shouts from the crowd around the Encanto called everyone's attention.

Although noone was as happy as the Madrigals themselves, who had scattered far from the ruins of Casíta, desperate for even a trace of Mirabel.

One-by-one, the Madrigals return to the house after hearing the crowd's commotion, shocked to see that Mirabel had finally returned.

The few hours she was gone felt like the whole day, mainly because of how much they really cared for Mirabel.

The horse stopped infront of the broken doorframe, as it let the three riders slowly and safely land on the grass below their feet and hooves.

"Mirabel!" The worried cries of Mirabel's parents greet her from inside the house, a warm embrace felt well overdue between the three of them.

Mirabel's sisters were just as happy as their parents after their sister's surprise arrival. The hug turned into a group hug, as the two older sisters joined in hugging Mirabel.

"Oh! We missed you!" Isabela exclaimed into her sister' cheek, pecking and kissing it as fast as she could which came from her excitement to see the sister that she used to always despise.

"I'm so sorry!" Mirabel cried, however she didn't feel sad, she actually felt quite happy knowing that her family was still very welcoming.

┅┅┅┅┅┅

You were one of the people that were looking at Mirabel's arrival, crowds outside the doors of each house were gathering just to see the little girl again.

"Mirabel's finally back now!" Your father exclaimed, which was followed by everyone else outside cheering.

The people applauded, everyone was happy and joyful that nothing bad happened to Mirabel.

"Come on, let's help them out." Your father urged your mother.

"What? How?" Your mother confusingly replied.

"We can give them the materials for the construction of the New Casíta." Your father suggested, as he walked over to get the supplies scattered about your house which can help with building houses.

You found your father's idea very promising, so you went to get the supplies from your painting room, maybe some paint or blueprint paper could help.

┅┅┅┅┅┅

Mirabel and the family were already done with their reunion, and now their focus shifted to the broken house, which needed fixing, just like their family did.

"Look at this home." Mirabel looked around, carefully stepping over the cracked pieces of cement that were scattered about the floor.

"We need a new foundation." Mirabel looked at the broken walls, barely any of the framework was left, and only by making a new stronger foundation can they build their new, better, and stronger home.

Mirabel looked around, and noticed how hard of a job this would take, "It may seem hopeless, but we'll get by just fine.".

Mirabel perfectly described what the family had been thinking, the predicament they are in have made it very easy for the family to feel hopeless.

"Look at this family.. of glowing constellations." Mirabel looked at the family that she had always been overshadowed by.

"So many stars, and everybody wants to shine." Mirabel moved closer to the Madrigals one-by-one, comforting them however she sees fit, and reminding them that she will be there to help the family through this problem.

"But the stars don't shine, they burn." Mirabel added, Julieta and Agustin felt proud that their daughter was willing to do this, just for the sake of her family, "The constellations shift.".

"I think it's time you knew," Mirabel stopped, Mirabel had already learnt where her ideology was wrong, she had always been jealous of her family members' gifts. Mirabel had made the same mistake that the Encanto had unconciously done to the Madrigals, "You're more than just your gift.".

The family felt enlightened that Mirabel said that, having gifts and powers shouldn't affect how people should see them.

Behind Pepa's thunderstorms, lies a woman in an endless loop of making a cloud from all her stress and emotions and the stress from having to take responsibility for the downpour.

Julieta's care for her family went beyond just her food, people associated her name with the healing, and not with the healer.

Camilo was forced to literally and physically change himself just so he could be of help to the Encanto, just being himself was impossible because of his gift.

Isabela didn't live her life the way she wanted, instead she lived it how the Encanto and Abuela wanted. Behind the perfect graceful dress was a real woman, a woman that sacrificed her happiness for everyone else's.

Luisa had to go through the pain of carrying churches and boulders, even when she would drop to the floor from the exhaustion, she would force herself to push through it. The burning sun and the sore muscles couldn't stop her will to help everyone that needs her muscles.

Antonio was far too young to understand, but he was happy to see his best friend back, he was happy the gift he had, and he was lucky to avoid being exploited for his gift.

The family was only this selfless because of the influence of one person, the head of the Madrigal family, Abuela Alma Madrigal.

Abuela's trauma had caused her to see herself and her family as the core of the Encanto. To Abuela, being gifted gave her family a duty to use it to their highest potential. She pushed herself and her family to fit perfectly into the Encanto, and to give their life to everyone else.

All it took was the destruction of her own family's home to show her the problem of forcing the Madrigals into her picture of a perfect family.

Abuela regretted it immensely, she looked back at the countless mistakes she made with raising the family.

Abuela felt especially sorry for the Madrigal she treated the worst, the Madrigal that she shoved away from the picture just because of her lack of a gift, Mirabel.

And during the hours that Mirabel was missing, Abuela was more nervous and remorseful than all the other Madrigals combined.

This was the perfect time for Abuela to start to undo all the trauma she had unconsciously given her family, and thankfully, she knew. "I'm sorry I held on too tight.".

"Just so afraid I'd lose you too." Abuela was still afraid of her family after realizing the pain she had caused them,

Abuela slowly gained the confidence and walked to her family.

Bruno was still hiding behind the pillar, and he tried his best to prolong his reunion with his long lost family.

Abuela was comforted by her two daughters, but she found that her third child was still not showing himself.

Abuela looked around, and caught a small glimpse of the green ruana that belonged to her son.

"Bruno..." Abuela whispered, the green ruana shifted, it hid for a few seconds before moving out, now revealing the wearer.

The family gasped, they thought Bruno had found another city to live in, they thought he was as good as dead, but they didn't expect him to suddenly pop up.

"The miracle is not... Some magic that you've got." The two women ran up to Bruno after they realized what Bruno had been doing the past 10 years.

"We're so sorry. Please forgive us." Pepa and Julieta cried into Bruno's shoulders as the man couldn't stop himself from crying with them.

"It's okay! It's okay!" Bruno was tearing up more than Pepa and Julieta, even though he had seen them through the cracks in the walls.

"The miracle is you, not some gift, just you. The miracle is you, all of you." Abuela looked at her three children who were happy to be complete again.

Despite both Pepa and Julieta despising their brother when they though he ran away, they immediately changed their view.

"Okay, so- we gonna talk about Bruno?" Camilo looked dumbfounded, he was unsure whether to welcome Bruno openly or to still boycott him.

"That's Bruno." Antonio pointed at the man with a smile on his face, Antonio had already seen Bruno last night, and seeing his family welcome Bruno went a long way in showing Antonio how he should feel about the uncle he never knew he had.

"Yeah, there's alot to say about Bruno." Bruno reluctantly replied, he scratched his messy hair and chuckled.

"Okay, I'll start, Pepa, I'm sorry 'bout your wedding, didn't mean to be upsetting! That wasn't a prophecy, I could just see you were sweating! And I wanted you to know that your bro loves you so, let it in, let it out, let it rain, let it snow, let it go~" Bruno quickly pleaded as he recalled all the times he had accidentally made everyone unhappy with his visions and predictions.

"That's what I was saying, Bro!" Felix agreed with his brother-in-law.

"Got alot of things I got to say." Bruno held his hands tightly together.

"Hey! We're just happy that you're here, okay!" Julieta reassures her insecure brother.

"But come in to the light!" Pepa wraps her arm around Bruno's shoulder, bringing him closer for a warm hug.

"The triplets all reunite!" Agustin pops up from behind them, most of his body was covered with bee stings.

"And no matter what happens, we're gonna find our way!" Julieta joins Pepa and Bruno as the triplets hug each other, with Agustin wrapping them with a big bear hug.

"Yo, I knew he never left, I heard him everyday!" Dolores revealed, Camilo was shocked, yet he should have seen it coming.

"Wooh, Wooh!" A chant could be heard coming from the Encanto, and it sounds like it was the voices of alot of people.

Everyone looked around confusingly, "What's that sound?" Abuela asked.

"I think it's everyone in town!" Antonio looks in amazement as he saw a crowd of townsfolk carrying building materials and tools.

The Madrigal family was amazed after seeing the crowd, and seeing some of their close friends near the front, like the Guzmans, and your family, the Enriquez's.

And speaking of your family, you were carrying a sack of cement infront of your body, it felt heavier than usual because you were still slightly wounded.

The family welcomes the crowd with open arms, as they each help the townsfolk place the building materials around the Casíta to be used for the future reconstruction.

┅┅┅┅┅┅

It was about 5 in the afternoon, you spent the past few hours with other townsfolk and your family to help sort, count, and store the materials.

It was decided that the construction would start tomorrow, and that today would be set for the blueprinting and planning for the new and stronger Casíta.

As your father had suggested earlier, Julieta and Agustin's family would be temporarily staying at your house, while the Casíta was being built.

Dolores' family would be staying at Felix's old home, with Dolores' grandparents.

Abuela and Bruno on the other hand, would stay with the Guzmans, where Abuela can continue apologizing for Mariano's accident.

It felt both nice and weird that part of the Madrigal family would visit your house, instead of you visiting theirs.

┅┅┅┅┅┅

"(Y/N), you can take Isabela with you to prepare our house for their stay, Luisa and Mirabel both said they wanted to help out here." Your father looked at you and Isabela, his hands were still holding on to the blueprint and explaining parts of it to Agustin because Agustin wasn't really that into Architecture.

"Sure, Pa." You nod, as you look at Isabela to see if she's ready to come with you.

"Okay, let's go." Isabela smiled, the crazy colors in her hair and dress still looked fresh, perhaps due to the flowers' quality.

┅┅┅┅┅┅

You walk with Isabela to your house, as the sun was just about ready to set.

Along the way, you still couldn't help thinking about Dolores, and how she is doing right now.

You couldn't remove it from your mind.

"Hey, (Y/N), you good?" Isabela looked at you with concern.

You laugh at the question, you didn't know how to reply, "I guess......."
