8:45 the clock on Kelly's bedside table glowed, she had just finished her homework and was reading through the warrior book when she heard arguing coming from downstairs. Intrigued Kelly edged to the landing so she could hear, her parents never argued with each other.
“It's your fault Richard” her mother screamed,
“How is it my fault? The girls acting out” her father shouted back,
“What, your the one who wanted to adopt her” her mother said,
Kelly was in shock she ran into her room and closed the door, she was adopted! She felt sick the people who she looked up to, who she always tried to please, were not her real parents. Before she knew what she was doing she had grabbed the warriors book and climbed out the window, she didn't want to see her so called parents, she just wanted to run.
When she had finally stopped running she realized that she was standing in front of the warriors house. She walked to the door and pushed it open, not wanting to go back home. Kelly walked through the house feeling numb, going to the room she explored earlier, she sat on the bed and started to cry.
“Kelly?” a voice called, causing her to look up to see Zack standing nervously in the doorway. “Are you alright?” he asked seeing the sadness in her eyes.
“I'm... I'm ...adopted” she cried putting her head in her hands. She felt a hand on her back rubbing comforting circles. After twenty minutes of crying Kelly finally wiped her eyes, “”Sorry” she whispered.
“Don't be sorry, its not your fault” Zack soothed,
“I'll go get you a drink, be back in a minute” he said giving Kelly some time to pull herself back together.
Zack ran into the open plan kitchen and living room that he had been sitting in when Kelly had burst through the door, he grabbed a glass and filled it with water then took out his phone and rang Rachel.
“Hey Zack, what's up?” Rachel chirped down the phone,
“Rach it's Kelly! we are at the warrior house, ring Jenny and get over here” he quickly explained,
“Alright, be there in ten” she said hearing the worry and concern in Zack's voice.
Fifteen minuets later Rachel and Jenny came running through the door to find Kelly curled up on one of the sofas in the living room, Zack standing hesitantly by her side,
“Kel? What happened honey?” Jenny cried running up and hugging her,
“I over heard my …. well my so called parents, say I was adopted” she explained and both girls hugged her and comforted her,
“So what are you going to do?” Rachel asked a few minute's later,
“I don't know, but I'm not going back home” she explained,
“Well you have to tell them that you are safe they would have noticed you are gone by now” Jenny explained,
“I'm not talking to them!” Kelly snapped,
“Alright, I’ll ring Adam and tell him to ring your parents and say your stopping with me for a few days” Jenny suggested and walked out the room to ring her brother,
“I can't stop at yours Jenny, your mum already has her hands full” Kelly said when Jenny returned.
“Well you can always stop here” Zack said “That's what I'm going to do” he added,
“Why? What did your dad do?” Rachel asked Zack,
“Just the usual, but I can't take it any more” he explained “and as we have a house at our disposal, I thought I could stay here” he said,
“Well what do you think Kel? Do you want to stay at the warriors house for a while?” Jenny asked,
“Anything is better than home” she agreed and the four of them spent the rest of the night at the house.
“Hello!” a voice called waking everyone up,
“Hi Adam” Jenny said as her brother walked into the living room where Jenny, Rachel and Kelly had slept on the sofas, “Is everything sorted out?” Jenny asked,
“Yes, I told Kelly's parents she was stopping at ours and covered for you with mum this morning. I told her you went to work early, speaking of which you best get ready or you'll be late” Adam said, “ I brought you some clean clothes” he added handing her a pair of shorts, a black top and her red jacket.
“Oh Adam, why did you bring the red jacket, you know that my white one goes better with these shorts” Jenny moaned taking the clothes,
“don't be such a drama Queen” he sighed and Jenny huffed as she walked out to change.
“I also brought you guys some breakfast” Adam said placing a shopping bag on the kitchen side.
“Thanks Adam” they all cheered,
“That is the only thing this place doesn't have. Food” Zack said entering the room and grabbing a bowl filling it with cereal.
“I was thinking that I should get a job, seen as I'm going to stay here, we will need food and stuff” Kelly said “Do you think you could ask at the shop for me Jen?” she asked Jenny who walked in dressed ready for work.
“Sure, I think there will be a shift going cause Jamie is leaving next week” she said, “anyway I better get going, I'll see you at two o'clock” she added “Oh and I told Max to meet us here at half one after his game, so … don't get into an argument” she said running out the door.
“It isn't me who starts the arguments” Zack mumbled.
It was a slow day at the corner shop and Jenny was watching the second hand on the clock, it was almost half past one.
“I think you can get off early Jenny” Mr Lincon the shop owner said, “It's been quite today I think I will shut early”
“Are you sure?” she asked,
“Yes, go on I'm sure you have some friend's you can go see” he laughed, Jenny had always liked Mr Lincon he was the kind of boss who is understanding when you are late, which Jenny often was.
“OK thanks” she chirped grabbing her jacket, “Oh I almost forgot, one of my friends is looking for a job and she was wondering if there is any going here?” she added,
“Oh, well actually there is. Tell your friend there are two shifts going, if she wants them get her to come in” he said,
“I will, thanks again Mr Lincon” Jenny said as she left the store,
She shivered as the cold air whipped at her bare legs, “Maybe shorts weren't the best idea” she thought aloud as she started to trudge off toward the warrior house. It was really sunny and warm that morning but the weather had become cloudy and cold, it looked like it was going to rain.
Jenny walked down the street wrapping her jacket around herself, there was no one around outside and she felt like she was being watched. Picking up her pace Jenny crossed the road heading towards the forest, it looked spooky and she hesitated before entering.
“Gosh Jenny get a grip, it's just a forest” she scolded herself as she marched on. The forest floor was covered with long unkempt grass, with lots of trees and bushes squashed together.
Suddenly something scratched her ankle painfully and she fell to the ground. Looking around frantically she saw the long grass twitch and a small ugly creature jumped at her, Jenny screamed and a spurt of water shot at the creature from her hand, causing it to fall backwards unmoving. Not taking her eyes from the animal, she stood up and backed away from it cautiously, the creature twitched and Jenny quickly turned and ran away, as she ran she could hear rustling from the ground. She ran faster realizing that there was more than one chasing her, she felt one land on her back and bite her shoulder, crying out she swatted it away and it tumbled to the floor, but she was attacked by another causing her to fall over with the creature standing on her stomach teeth bared. It was a weird slimy creature that looked like a small shrivelled up human, it was no bigger than a football but it was very fat with ruffles of green skin all over it.
Jenny tried to squirm away but saw that she was surrounded by three more. The biggest one was ready to pounce, when a transparent bubble formed a shield around her. It was just like the wall Kelly had made to block Max's fire ball. Looking around Jenny saw that it wasn't Kelly who had made this shield, it was a dark haired man dressed in a long coat. He swiped his hand in the air and the creatures were flung away hitting various trees in the distance, screeching they all quickly scurried off into the forest.
“Are you alright?” the man asked helping Jenny up from the ground, she just stared blankly at him.
“Who are you?” she asked suspiciously,
“My name is Tray” he introduced,
“How did you do that?” Jenny asked once again motioning in the direction of the creatures.
“The same way you did” he explained, “I saw you use your gift. Water” he added making Jenny gasp,
“But how?” she questioned,
“I've had my gift for a very long time” Tray explained with a sigh,
“Are you a warrior?” Jenny suddenly blurted out,
“I haven't been called that in many years, but yes I am a Warrior” he smiled, his eyes clouding over as he reminisced,
“I'm Jenny by the way.” she said suddenly excited to introduce him to the rest of the group, “Will you come back to the warrior house and meet my friends?” she asked hopefully, maybe Tray could help them control their powers.
“They are like you? With gifts?” he asked with a smile,
“Yes, It happened at the same time” Jenny told him. “Please, we need your help” she begged.
“Alright, Lead the way” Tray agreed and followed her through the forest.

Alright now that was action packed :)
Firstly what do you guys think about Kelly being adopted?? I think i have abandonment issues as there is always a character who is adopted in my stories lol
What about Jenny getting attacked? Were you scared? I know it was written a little fast paced (haven't got the hang of that yet)
And what do you think about TRAY?? Is he going to be a good character or bad?
