So first of all I wanna say thank you guys so much for continued love and support for this fic, it's honestly insane to me that people enjoy something I wrote when I was 15 and 16 haha
On that note, I forgot this fic existed... or at least that it was still public. I'm 21 now so I was just coming back to see how different my writing is in comparison, went to check some comments for old times sake and noticed recent ones; I couldn't decide whether to be mortified or not haha
When I wrote this, I was absolutely going for just a fluffy, decently written fanfic. I was 15/16 and it was written in 2016/2017... and looks like it :')
I read every single comment on this fic and when I tell you I couldn't breathe because some of them had me laughing so hard
I've been wanting to get back into fic writing (albeit for a different fandom) for a while now and honestly, although a lot of the comments were making jokes about things I wrote and treating the fic like it was meant to be satirical (pls consider it partial-satire now for my own sanity/hj) it honestly made me feel better about writing and putting it out there. Like, I would've never posted this work now because the writing isn't up to my standards for myself and I'd be too embarrassed, feel like it wouldn't be good enough. The comments on this fic took me from hating it, to actually kind of liking it.
I suppose beauty really is in the eyes of the beholder ^w^
