"Hmm." Taeyong hums as he fluffs his hair in the mirror.
"Maybe I should try something new?" Taeyong thinks to himself as he looks at his phone.
"Baekhyun, you wanna do something crazy?" Taeyong asks as he walks up to the man as he wipes the kitchen counter.
"Like what?"
"Well, I have a good amount of money from my birthday, and I was thinking about heading to the salon." Taeyong says as he twirls his hair and Baekhyun smirks.
"To the car!" Baekhyun shouts as he grabs the keys as Taeyong follows him with a laugh.
"Baekhyun close your eyes! And cover Sungchan's too!" Taeyong says as he and Baekhyun laughs as he closes his eyes and covers Sungchan's.
"Open them!" Taeyong says and Baekhyun gasps as he sees Taeyong's new blonde hair.
"Taeyong... you look great! Oh my god!" Baekhyun says as he stands up from his seat and touches his hair.
"It suits you so well!" He says as he looks at Taeyong in aw.
"Thank you!!" Taeyong says as he wraps his arms around him.
"Sungchan what do you think?" Taeyong asks and Sungchan looks up at him before his eyes go wide.
"Yongie? You?" He asks as he looks at his brother in shock as he alternates looking at Taeyong's face and his hair.
"Yes it's me Sungchan." Taeyong giggles as he picks the younger up who was still staring at his hair as he touches it softly.
"Just wait until Mrs. Kim sees it." Baekhyun says and Taeyong nods.
"Hey boys, how was your day?" Mrs. Kim asks as she walks into the house and walks past the boys sitting on the couch before freezing and taking a double take at Taeyong making everyone laugh.
"Taeyong! Your hair?!" She says as she walks up to him and touches it.
"You didn't do it with box dye did you? I swear to god-"
"No Baekhyun took me to his hairdresser and she did it for me." Taeyong says with a smile and Mrs. Kim nods slowly.
"Good, it looks fantastic!" She says as she pushes her hands through it and Taeyong thanks her with a bright smile.
"Thank God, I was terrified you were gonna hate it." Taeyong says and she gasps.
"How could I hate it? It looks great!" She says.
"Are you doing anything Mrs. Kim? We were gonna have a movie night." Baekhyun says and Mrs. Kim thinks for a second.
"Well I did have to get something done-" She says and everyone groans and protests.
"But I guess I can push it to tomorrow." She says and everyone cheers as she goes and gets changed.
"What movie are we watching?" She asks and Sungchan pops up excitedly.
"Encanto!" He shouts and Mrs. Kim chuckles at his excitement.
"Scoot over then." She says as she takes a next and the boys. Sungchan waists no time in climbing into her lap making her smile as she pats his head.
"What are you waiting for? Start the movie!" She says and they laugh before Taeyong hits play.
"We don't talk about bruno no no no... " Mrs. Kim mumbles to herself as the movie ends.
"What movie next?" She asks but chuckles once she looks around and sees Sungchan asleep in her lap and Baekhyun dead on the love seat. She looks over at Taeyong who was barely able to keep his eyes open. She puts on a random movie and lays back on the couch as Sungchan lays his head on her chest as she rests across the couch.
Soon after Taeyong falls into her lap, dead asleep as well making her chuckle. She turns off the TV and adjusts herself as she lays Sungchan on her chest.
She pats their heads and suddenly a memory she forgot she had invades her mind.
Her, her husband and her daughter sitting exactly like this. She tears up but quickly blinks them away as she runs her hands through their hair.
"Hmm, maybe this isn't too bad." She says before shutting her own eyes and falling asleep, not noticing the small smile on Taeyong's face.
"Sungchan what are you doing?" Taeyong asks as he stirs awake, only to be met with the sight of Sungchan spinning in circles and moving his arms around.
"Dance, like Yongie." He says without stopping making Taeyong giggle.
"Last week of summer, and then it's off to my senior year." Taeyong thinks to himself as he looks at the date displayed on his phone.
"I'm going back to sleep, have fun Sungchan." Taeyong says as he turns around and closes his eyes but groans when he hears his phone ringing.
"This better be important." He mumbles but his annoyance goes away once he sees Jaehyun's name displayed on the screen.
"Yes?"
"Good morning babe, did I wake you?" Jaehyun asks making Taeyong giggle.
"Yeah, but it's okay. I was probably gonna wake up soon anyway." Taeyong says and Jaehyun hums in response.
"Any plans for today?" Jaehyun asks and Taeyong thinks for a second.
"No, not really. You?" Taeyong asks.
"Not much." Jaehyun says and Taeyong ah's before there's a bit of silence between them.
"You want to come over don't you?" Taeyong asks teasingly making Jaehyun chuckle awkwardly.
"You know me so well." Jaehyun says making Taeyong smile softly.
"So am I allowed to come over?" Jaehyun asks making Taeyong roll his eyes.
"...Be here in an hour." Taeyong says and Jaehyun jumps up from his bad.
"I'll be there." Jaehyun says before hanging up with a smile.
"Mom I'm heading out." Jaehyun says and Mrs. Jung raises her eyebrow at him.
"Tell Taeyong I said hi." She says and Jaehyun looks at her before nodding softly making her smile.
"Wow you really made it here in an hour." Taeyong chuckles as he opens the door for Jaehyun. Who stares at him with his mouth agape.
"What? What's wrong?" Taeyong asks and Jaehyun takes a step forward.
"Y-your hair!" Jaehyun shouts and Taeyong giggles.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you."
"YOU FORGOT TO TELL ME?!" Jaehyun shouts as Taeyong laughs even harder.
"What do you think?" Taeyong says as he bites his lip softly with a smile, anticipating Jaehyun's answer.
"I think you look stunning." Jaehyun says making Taeyong smile before pecking the younger's lips.
"Come! We're going to bake a cake." Taeyong says as he drags Jaehyun into the house. The younger looks at Taeyong's outfit before bursting out laughing.
"Are you gonna make me something to eat housewife?" Jaehyun asks and Taeyong glares at him before looking at his outfit. Soft pink shorts, a white t-shirt, a cute little apron and a soft pink headband to keep his hair out of the way.
"...Shut up." Taeyong says making Jaehyun laugh.
"Where's Mrs. Kim?" Jaehyun asks as they walk into the kitchen.
"She had to go do some stuff at the school for next week." He says and Jaehyun ah's with a nod.
"And Sungchan?"
"He's in the backyard with Baekhyun, I think they're gonna go watch a movie today." Taeyong says and Jaehyun nods.
"Does that mean we'll have the house to ourselves?" Jaehyun asks with a smirk as he hops down from his seat and goes behind Taeyong, wrapping his arms around the older's waist as he kisses his shoulder.
"You pervert! Get away from me! I'm trying to get something." Taeyong says as he smacks Jaehyun's hands away and reaches into the cabinet for the ingredients he needed.
"Hey I was just stating the obvious. What were you thinking of?" Jaehyun asks and Taeyong blushes softly as he turns around to face him.
"Don't turn this on me you pervert." Taeyong says as he pushes him out of the way and puts the ingredients on the island in the center of the kitchen.
"Taeyong! We're heading out." Baekhyun says as he walks out wearing a green goblin mask making Taeyong chuckle.
"Where are you going?"
"We go see spiderman!!" Sungchan shouts as he runs out of the room wearing a spiderman costume making Taeyong coo.
"Where did you find that costume?"
"Amazon! It does wonders." Baekhyun laughs as he takes his mask off.
"Anyways see you later! Don't do anything! I'm watching y'all!" Baekhyun says as he walks towards the front door with Sungchan behind him.
"I've got eyes everywhere..." Baekhyun says ominously as he peaks over the corner and Taeyong rolls his eyes before waving him off. As soon as the door closes Jaehyun hoists Taeyong up making him yelp before placing him on the island and standing between the older's legs.
"You look so gorgeous with your new hair." Jaehyun compliments as he looks Taeyong up and down and places his hands on either sides of him.
"But you always look gorgeous." Jaehyun says making Taeyong blush softly as he chuckles, placing his hands on the younger's shoulders.
"My mark is gone." Jaehyun pouts as he inspects Taeyong's neck.
"Should I make more?" Jaehyun smirks before he attacked Taeyong's neck with small kisses making him scream and laugh.
"Jaehyun stop! It tickles!!" Taeyong laughs as he tries to push the younger away who continues to pepper him with kisses.
"EVERYWHERE!" Baekhyun shouts as he slams the front door open and gasps at the sight in front of him.
"Couldn't even wait five minutes... wow." Baekhyun tsks as Taeyong shakes his head in protest.
"Baekhyun I-"
"Save it! We're leaving." Baekhyun says as he shakes his head one last time before closing the door and the two wait until they hear the car pull out of the driveway before laughing.
"Fuck Baekhyun, he's hilarious." Taeyong says as he grips his stomach from laughing too hard as Jaehyun shakes his head.
"So are you actually gonna give me a kiss or what?" Jaehyun says and Taeyong smiles softly as he cups his face, and lays a soft kiss on Jaehyun's lips.
"Oh I've been meaning to ask you, when's your birthday? You haven't said anything to me about it." Taeyong says and Jaehyun freezes in his hold as he chuckles nervously.
"Well... it's um, on... valentine's day." Jaehyun says and Taeyong gasps.
"Jae why didn't you tell me! I could have gotten you something." Taeyong pouts and Jaehyun pecks his lips softly.
"The only thing I really wanted at that time was you." Jaehyun says as he stares deeply into Taeyong's eyes making the older flush as he looks away.
"You've liked me since all the way back then?"
"I've liked you since the first day I saw you." Jaehyun says as he places his hands on Taeyong's waist as he admires the older's state. Pink cheeks, bottom lip between his teeth, his arm wrapped around his neck as he plays with Jaehyun's hair and his other hand cupping his face. He leans into Taeyong's hold as he stares at the older's face.
"I don't think I can wait any longer." Jaehyun says making Taeyong tilt his head in confusion.
"Taeyong, I like you. So fucking much. When I look at you. All I feel is love. I never thought it was possible to be this in love with someone... I just, can't imagine being with anyone else other you." Jaehyun says as Taeyong feels his eyes pool with tears.
"So I want to ask you..." Jaehyun says as his hands linger onto Taeyong's thighs.
"I want to say something first." Taeyong says and Jaehyun nods.
"Jaehyun, I like you too. You make me feel so safe, and loved. This has been a crazy fucking year for me. But you made everything feel okay, like I was going to get through it. So, thank you." Taeyong says as Jaehyun rubs his back soothingly.
"Taeyong, can we make this official?" Jaehyun asks and Taeyong's breath hitches.
"Will you be my boyfriend?" Jaehyun asks and Taeyong's tears start to fall from his eyes as he nods his head yes making Jaehyun smile widely.
"Really?" Jaehyun asks as his own tears start to well up in his eyes.
"Yes, I'm ready." Taeyong says and Jaehyun waists no time in connecting their lips.
"Is it too early to say the L word?" Jaehyun asks and Taeyong pecks his lips.
"Maybe a little." He says with a chuckle making Jaehyun laugh as he just nods his head.
"Then I'll just show you." Jaehyun says as Taeyong cups his face and connects their lips again. This time more passionately as Jaehyun grips Taeyong's waist tightly. Taeyong's lips travel from Jaehyun's lips to the rest of the younger's face. He pecks all of the younger's features before kissing down Jaehyun's neck making the younger moan softly as he picks Taeyong up from the island, Taeyong wraps his legs around the younger's waist as Jaehyun pins him to the wall and reconnects their lips. Jaehyun carries Taeyong to his room and places him on his bed.
"What am I gonna do with you?" Jaehyun says teasingly that seems to go over Taeyong's head completely as the older raises his arms at him.
"Cuddle with me?" Taeyong asks with a smile making Jaehyun smile as well as he lays himself on top of the older and nuzzles his face into his neck as he wraps his arms around his waist.
"Who would have thought I would end up with such a perfect boyfriend like you?" Jaehyun says making Taeyong smile as he runs his fingers through his boyfriend's hair.
"Boyfriend... I like the sound of that." Taeyong says as he wraps his arms around Jaehyun tightly.
"I got you back from my birthday." Taeyong says as he touches the purple-reddish mark on Jaehyun's neck.
"And there will be plenty more from where that came from." Jaehyun says before attacking Taeyong's neck and face with kisses as he screams and pushes the younger away.
