Personality| Iris is a kind hearted girl, but is also a giant. She was raised as every giant was, which made her more prone to fighting. Which made her learn to steel her emotions so she didn't lose herself in a battle. Even though Iris is a sweet girl, she learned the hard way not to always be so trusting so she is always wary. Yet if you get past all of that she will be the best person to have on your side. She will give and give until she can't, then give some more. Backstory| Iris was raised as every other Giant was raised, you either make a child or you fight. Iris preferred the latter and took to training immediately. She was quite skilled and began taking on quests for the Giants, til she grew tired of the same thing repeatedly. When she told her parents they didn't seem to mind and...waved her off telling her to go. Iris in shock listened and took only what she needed before leaving.
At first she sold herself out as a Sell Sword for anyone, taking random jobs all over the country. She enjoyed the freedom it brought her, but for some reason...it got boring also. Soon enough she wandered to the Kingdom of Liones, finding they needed protection. Iris believing she could help took the job and began working for Liones.
At first it was just random jobs like always, before soon enough the Prince at the time believed she could be useful. She he hired her to be the body guard for the kingdom til his reign was over. Now at first she didn't want to be tied down to one place, that is...til she saw the amount he was offering to pay her. Plus he told her she could leave whenever she wanted, as long as she returned when she was needed. Iris not seeing anything wrong with that, took the job! She worked there continuously as the Prince became king and the king having had daughters. She watched as the Seven Deadly Sins were formed.
Finding attraction to the man they called Escanor, when he was small he couldn't help making her laugh. Plus when he was bigger she asked to spare with him using her Creation Magic to help them both. He got to take his frustration out on the ground and she grew stronger. It was nice like that, Iris grew to love the Princesses and grew to love protecting Liones.
Til that fated day when the Grand Master was killed and everything fell apart. She did her best to protect the kingdom and couldn't believe Escanor would be part of a group that murdered someone that important.
Yet Iris kept her mouth shut and stayed by Liones side, til...Elizabeth the girl she loved as a best friend...went missing.
