Dan: Drago!
Dan shot awake from his sleep as it woke up Marucho. He looks at Dan and sees him startled.
Marucho: Are you alright, Dan.
The door then opened and see Barren entered the room.
Barren: What's going on? Did something happen? Did you have a nightmare?
Dan: Yeah.. I guess I was... Sorry to wake you.
Marucho: Some nightmare you must've had. Every single Vestal in the nightmare must've heard you.
Barren: I mean, he did lose pretty bad...
Dan: You know what, Barren's right. Drago, time to start training!
Marucho: In the middle of the nigh?!
Dan looks around as he doesn't see Drago.
Dan: Drago? Hey, guys. You've seen Drago?
Meanwhile, at the terrace of the base, Drago was looking at the sky.
Drago: For the first time... I wonder if I have the strength to do what must be done. Wyvern... You sacrificed your life to save our world and I will protected until my last breath. But... I can't do it alone.
???: You should know by now, you're not alone.
Drago turns around and sees Leonidas.
Leonidas: You have the brawlers, bakugan that count on you, and more importantly, your partner.
Drago: Huh, you're right...
???: Drago.
They turn around and see, Dan, Marucho, and Barren.
Dan: There you are. What are you doing here?
Drago: Just... catching up.
Dan: Good. Let's get to work.
He says while equipping his gauntlet.
Meanwhile, Ace and Y/N were inside watching them from a window when they hear Mira walking to them without taking their eyes of them.
Mira: He woke you too. Are you worried?
Ace: Not about him. If he brawls at this hour, the release power could give the Vetals a fix on us.
They watched Drago and the others training for some time.
Ace: Now I'm bored. Wake me when the Vestals attack.
He said before walking out.
Mire: Right, pretend like you don't care.
Y/N: Took the words out of my mouth.
Meanwhile, at Hydron's throne room he had a cup on his hand.
Hydron: A toast to the famous warrior bakugan.
He said before drinking from the cup.
Hydron: The most powerful bakugan from each attribute... and they're all mine So tell me...
He then throws the cup to the ground as it breaks.
Hydron: Why do I only have five?! Spectra!
Spectra then appeared in a screen.
Hydro: What is going on?! You defeated the human and yet I still don't have a Pyrus Dragonoid in my collection or even attempt to get the bakugan of doom!
Spectra: My apologies to you, Price Hydron.
Hydron: You're supposed to be the best brawler in New Vestroia. So prove it!
Spectra: I understand your frustration, I will not fail. But these things take time, my lord.
Hydron: Well okay then. I'm counting on you, Spectra. It would be unwise to disappoint me. I expect to hear good news from you soon.
He said before snapping his fingers and the screen disappears.
Meanwhile, Spectra and Gus were at the Vexus' meeting room.
Spectra: You spoiled little brat.
Gus: I take complete responsibility, Master. My failure has cause you continued disfavor.
Spectra: Not so. You've accomplished much, Gus. Our spoiled prince is just throwing a childish tantrum. He wants new toys.
Gus got closer before whispering.

The brawlers were at the operations room as Ace displayed a map.
Ace: If we follow this route, we should get close to the city undetected.
Barren: I could have us there by sundown, guys. Pedal to the medal!
He said before taking a bite to a sandwich.
Marucho: So we're actually entering enemy territory now.
Dan: It's about time we started destroying these controllers. Man, the Vexus are gonna freak out!
Drago: Dan, stay focused.

But before she could start they notice Dan looking strained.
Drago: Is something wrong.

Dan exits the room before heading to the bathroom.
Meanwhile, a small bug-like robot flew inside the base's vents and when it entered the base, it saw Dan exiting the bathroom.
???: Greetings, Dan Kuso.
Dan turns around and sees Gus.
Dan: Gus?! What is a Vexus doing here?! How did you get into our headquarters?!
He said before charging at him but phased through.
Dan: Oh, I get it. You're just a hologram.
Gus: I warn you, today I will take your Drago away.
Dan: As if!
Gus: I understand if you refuse y challenge, after losing to me once you're probably afraid. However, if you do have the guts to take me on. My little spy will lead you right to me.

He said before grabbing the robot.

Meanwhile, back at the operation's room.
Ace: Are you nuts?! You want to postpone destroying the dimension controllers and go off a wild goose chase?!
Mira: My brother will be a great help if we can find him!
Ace: Just let it go! We have too many distractions already! We're supposed to be freeing the bakugan!
Mira: That's what I am doing!
Marucho: Okay! Let's all just take a big deep breath together!

Dan turns around and sees Y/N with Leonidas and Pantherine on his shoulder.
Dan: Y/N, what are you doing here?
Y/N: Making sure you don't get into trouble.
He said before equiping his gauntlet.
Dan: No, wait! Please let me do it alone. After last time, I must do it.
Y/N sighs before nodding.
Gus: Glad to know we won't be interrupted.
Dan: Well, I hope you have been practicing, I won't go easy.
Gus: Your overconfidence will be your downfall.
Dan and Gus: Gauntlet power strike!
Gus: Gate card set!
He throws the first gate card in.
Gus: Crush them, Vulcan! Bakugan brawl!
Dan: Scorch him, Drago! Bakugan brawl!
The two throw their bakugan in battle.
Gus: Bakugan stand! Premo Vulcan!
Dan: Drago stand!
Gus: Ability activate! Subterra Reactor!
Vulcan's power increases to 600Gs as multiple rock pillars appear from he ground.
Gus: You were fools to face us again. Now you'll see why. Ability activate! Titan Knuckle!
Both of Vulcan's gauntlets were launched at Drago as one grabs him by the neck before slamming him against the other gauntlet. Vulcan's power increases to 800Gs while Drago's decreases to 200Gs
Gus: Now watch as I take Drago forever!
Dan: Ability activate! Burst Shield!
Drago produces a tornado of fire around him as it repels the gauntlets at his direction before his power increased to 400Gs while Vulcan's decreases to 600Gs before Drago returned defeated.
Gus: You're last ability saved Drago, but you lost life points in the process.
Dan: Are you okay, Drago?
Dan: I've felt better. But you've lost half your life points.
Dan: Not a problem, we're just getting started!

He sends Drago in battle.
Meanwhile, above them, Spectra and his bakugan were watching them.
Spectra: Interesting. This Drago... he had once been the perfect Dragonoid bakugan.
Helios: And then he became the core of New Vestroia. How could he return to bakugan form after that?
Spectra: Good question. Helios, I have a very good feeling that if we engage this bakugan ourselves, everything will become clear.
Helios: If we do, Leonidas is bound to intervene.
Spectra: Is that a problem?
Helios: Of course not.
Gus: Bakugan brawl!
Back at the brawl, Gus throws Vulcan in battle as it transforms.
Dan: Gate card open! Pyrus Reactor!
A ring of fire surrounded the arena.
Dan: Let it feel your sting, Scorpion!
He throws Scorpion in before it transforms.
Dan: It's my turn to take you down in one move. Double ability activate! Burning Dragon!
Drago fires a fire ball at Scorpion.
Dan: Plus Satellite Boost!
Scorpion opens its reflectors before redirecting the fire ball at Vulcan with intensified power.
This increased Pyrus bakugan's combined power to increase to 1150Gs as Vulcan's power remained at 500Gs.
Gus: No way! I will never let that human take Vulcan! Ability activate! Pyrus Torrets!
Volcan started shooting multiple energy shots at the fire ball until it made it explode in the air as the combined power of the Pyrus bakugan decreased to 850Gs. And before Vulcan could react, Drago was already in front of him and tackled him, before Vulcan returned defeated.
Dan: Looks like we're even!
Gus: That's alright. I haven't even begun to brawl. I am through playing around with you.
Gus suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder an look that Spectra was beside him.
Spectra: I'll handle this, Gus.
Gus: This is my battle.
Dan: Who are you?!
Spectra: I am Spectra Phantom. Leader of The Vexus. Good to finally meet the younger brother of the powerful Y/N Kuso.
Dan: I don't care for that. Back off, I have a battle to finish with Gus!
Spectra: *chuckles* You should learn to be more respectful to your superiors. It is an honor for an amateur such as yourself to lose against to lose against the top-ranked brawler.
Y/N: If you see it that way, why don't we make things even?

He throws Drago in before he transforms.
Spectra: *thoughts* That Dragonoid is magnificent, almost like Leonidas, I would say.Now to put him to the test and see what his got.
Spectra: Double ability activate! Dual Dragon plus Item Core!
The Dragon duplicated and one of them received a shield while the other received an axe.
Dan: No way! He split in two and double his power level!
He says while the dragons' combined power was of 1000Gs while Pantherine's and Drago's power was of 850Gs.
Meanwhile, back at the brawlers base.
Mira: Give me a break! I want to make a little detour! That's all!
Ace: No way. It's pointless.
Marucho: I call a ceasefire! You need to loke at this!
He points at the window and see a few little explosions at the distance.
Mira: What's that?
Barren: That's gotta be a bakugan battle!
Marucho: Dan and Y/N must've slipped out and got involved in a bakugan battle!
Ace: Y/N's with him. Why worry?
Mira: We don't know who or how many are they facing, they need us!
Back at the brawl, Drago fires a fire ball at the dragon with a shield, but it blocks it with the shield before the one with the axe flies towards him, but Drago dodged the attack before Pantherine jumped at them brought down the one with the axe.
Spectra: *thoughts* This Dragonoid's attack powers and defense skills are nothing remarkable. Could it be that I made a mistake when comparing him to Leonidas? Perhaps it's time to wrap this battle up and deliver my gift to Prince Hydron.
Dan: Take this! Triple ability activate! Burning Dragon plus Burning Tornado plus Fusion Ability: Pyrus Slayer!
Spectra: What the?!
He noticed Y/N smirking and he narrows his eyes.
Spectra: *thoughts* Right, the younger brother of the strongest of Earth.
Gus: Bakugan brawl!
He throws Vulcan in battle as it transforms.
Gus: Ability activate! Heavy Agis!
Vulcan spins his gauntlets in place as it creates a tornado that goes through Drago before deactivating Drago's boost in power.
Dan: Oh no! The difference of our power levels is more than 500gs!
He says as their power was back to 850Gs while Vulcan's and the dragons was now of 1700Gs.
Gus: Prepare to meet your doom!
Y/N: Ability activ-!
Suddenly a green light appeared above them.
Dan: Ah man! Now who's attacking us?!
The light disappeared as it reveals a bakugan with someone on top of it.
Dan: No way! Is it really him?!
Y/N: In the end, it was really him.
Dan: It's, Shun!
Shun: Ability activate! Thunder Power: Glimmering Slash!
The object beneath the bird-bakugan was launched at Vulcan while spinning as it strikes directly.
Shun: Ability activate! Wind Power: Soaring Strike Shot!
The bird-bakugan is engulfed in a green aura before striking Vulcan and defeat him as Gus life gauge depleted.
Gus: It can't be! Sorry I failed, Master Spectra...
Spectra: It's fine. I'll take it from here. Helios, are you ready?
Helios: I am, Master.
Spectra: Let's go, most powerful bakugan, Pyrus Helios! Bakugan brawl!
He throws Helios in battle before he transforms.
Dan: Drago, what is it?
Drago: I don't know, Dan. But this one is powerful.
Y/N: Leonidas, are you ready?
Leonidas: Of course.
Y/N: Pantherine?
Pantherine: I understand.
Y/N: Ability activate! Interchange!
Pantherine returns to Y/N before Leonidas is sent automatically in battle.
After that, Shun landed behind the brothers.
Marucho: Shun!
Barren: No way, you mean Shun Kasami?!
Shun: So how's it going, brothers?
Dan: Okay, except for a problem named Spectra.
Shun: I can't wait to meet him.
Y/N: Then I'll introduce him to you.
Shun: What do you say we show him how this is done?
Dan and Y/N: Sounds good to us.
Dan: Hey, Spectra, how about we get this party started.
Spectra: *thoughts* If that Dragonoid can use triple ability, he probably has other powers he's hiding from me.

The bird-bakugan wraps the dragons in some sort of thread before pressing them unitil they became one again.
Y/N: Ability activate!
Leonidas: Attribute change! Ventus!
Y/N: Skylander!
Leonidas grabs the dragon before soaring into the sky until finally diving down and slamming the dragon on the ground and defeats it.
After that, the bird morphs into a humanoid creature.
Spectra: *thoughts* I must see all the Dragonoid's powers.
Spectra: Ability activate! Thermal Quazer!
Helios fires a wave of fire at Ingrun who was barely able to dodge it, and Helios saw Drago charging at him and the two clashed before pushing each other.
Helios: And to think you were once the perfect Dragonoid. Now you're no better than the Tigrerra I crushed.
Drago: What?! You were the one who took Tigrerra!
Helio: Yes. And she cried for mercy, just like you will!
Leonidas moved to aid Drago.
Y/N: Let Drago handle him and wake him to reality.
Leonidas understood and nodded at Y/N.
Drago: I will make you pay for that!
Drago was engulfed in a multi-colored aura as Dan's ability card did the same.
The two bakugan pushed each other away before facing one another.
Spectra: Magnificent! Come on! Don't hold back, show me everything you've got!
Dan: Ability activate! Strike Dragon!
Drago released a waveshocks around the field as his power increased to 800Gs while Helios' decreased to 400Gs. And with one final waveshock, Helios returned defeated as Spectra's life gauge dropped to zero.
Spectra: Excellent work, Helios. Let's go, Gus.
Gus: Right away, Master Spectra.
They turn around and leave.
Spectra: Now that I've seen the power of the Dragonoid, I can conclude it's really similar to Leonidas. I can't allow it to be just a plaything either.
*Time skip*
The brawlers were back at the base as they all looked at Shun.
Dan: So where have you been, man? You just disappeared like Y/N off the face of the Earth.
Shun: So you've been here some time too?
He asks Y/N and he nods at him.
Shun: It was really weird. I was up in the mountains training when suddenly a portal appeared in front of me. The next thing I knew I landed here.
Mira: It's hard to say for sure, but maybe when we, Vestals, arrived to New Vestroia, it created a distortion in the dimensions.
Dan: That make sense. Y/N also got here like that.
Shun: Strange that we didn't meet sooner, Y/N.
Y/N: New Vestroia is a big place.
Shun: Pretty soon after that I met Ingram.
He said while showing his bakugan.
Marucho: Hey, Shun. Was that you who saved me when I battled against Myline?
Shun: Yes. though you probably suspected it before, right, Y/N?
Y/N: Even with different bakugan, I recognize your battle style.
Mira: *sighs* I had hoped that was my brother...
Ace: You've got to face it, Mira. You'll see your brother when he wants to be seen, and not before.
