The more I push away the thought of you, the more you're in my head. It's a war in me, and I'm not sure what the winner gets. Why do I keep walking towards a destination I don't know? Are you waiting for me at the end of this path? How can you be there when you don't even know there's a path I'm walking in? I want to keep you were you are, yet without meaning to you're craving into my heart. Something tells me I'm the one letting you in when you are not even knocking on my door. Something inside me tells me there's no door. Instead, there's a window and through it I see a mirage. Where you're smiling in bed and the future is the one knocking on our door.
