the chapter starts with kartik sleeping in naira's lap while naira caressing his hairs it was a peaceful sleep when naira saw kartik sweating in the sleep shocking her ;
naira could hear kartik murmering;
"naira mujhe chodkar mat jao pls i can't live without you..",murmered kartik in sleep concerning naira she just hugged him;
"shh shant ho jao kartik tumhari naira tumhare paas he rahegi she is yours and here only",said naira trying to calm him down but alas kartik woke up with a jerk worrying naira!
"kartik...kya hua tum theek ho na?",said naira concerned;
"naira..tum theek hona?",said kartik touching naira to make sure she is fine;
"mujhe kuch nahi hua hai kartik kya hua koi bura sapna dekha?",said naira;
"naira...voh sapna",said kartik;
"konsa sapna kartik please batao i can't see you like this",said naira;
"tumhein yaad hai when we were coming back from mumbai in the car i got a nightmare?",asked kartik to see if she remembers;
"haan voh sapna..wait us waqt jhooth bola tha tumne if i am not wrong right?",said naira to which kartik lowered his head;
"kya tha us sapne mein kartik bata do please sharing makes it better",said naira;
"naira i am sorry i did not tell you ..uss waqt humare beech mein bhi nothing was right and i am sorry",said kartik;
"hey hey kartik i did not ask for an explanation i understand that point in our life was just bad tell me i am here kartik",said naira hugging him;
"uss sapne mein",said kartik naratting ;
in the dream he was in a white room and he could hear kairav screaming naira and a stretcher coming behind him with a white cloth on it he with shivering hands he life up the cloth and is shocked to see the person and just one scream came out of his mouths and he woke up!
"naira main dar gaya tha ...i can't afford to loose you jaan i can never tum hoti ho toh sab kuch automatically theek ho jaata hai but without you its like i can feel every second ",said kartik cupping her face;
"aur main toh yaheen hoon kartik tumhare pass hamesha yeh naira bhi kya karein apne mendak ke bina nahi reh sakti",said naira who could still see fear in kartik's eyes and to distract him she kissed him while kartik startled reciprocated it back taking out his pain biting on her lips while naira did not said anything to him they soon broke it ;
"aaj meri sherni itni romantic ..kamaal hai jab romance karna hota hai toh kya ho jata hai tumhein?",said kartik;
"accha ji ab dekhna mendak ek baar kairav aur mere beech sab theek ho jaaye fir yeh mendak aur sherni ka romance he romance hoga",said naira;
"mere liye he accha hai",said kartik to which naira chuckled and joined their heads together;
"jaanta hoon tumne yeh sab mujhe distract karne ke liye kara hai you are truly the best ..par kya karoon naira that fear of loosing you has stapled in my head and mind i am trying par nahi ho raha hai",said kartik in his mind;
"kartik tumhein main aise nahi dekh sakti it hurts me every now and then kartik and i feel guilty even though i know that everything is fine between us but still",said naira in her mind;
"naira what i was thinking na..let's go for some picnic thoda change bhi ho jaayega we will feel good",said kartik;
"kartik par kairav..?",said naira worried;
"there will be something which we both would be able to do vedika tumhare saath rahein gi jab mein kairav ke saath aur fir kaira ek saath ",said kartik;
"par usne dekh liya toh",said naira worried;
"itni chinta mat karo sherni tumhari health ke liye acha nahi hai",said kartik kissing her forehead to which naira just closed her eyes to feel the love ;
"i will talk with kairav you don't worry we are going tomorrow be ready vedika will pick you up",said kartik to which naira nodded;
"naira sab theek ho jaayega nothing will go wrong kairav tumhein jald ek hug dega",said kartik;
"ussi ki toh umeed hai kartik varna toh kabki..",said naira who was shushed by kartik;
"jeene ki wajah ho tum meri aisa kabhi mat bolna",said kartik to which naira hugged him and kartik caressed his hairs ;
a while later we could see kartik with kairav and telling him about the picnic;
"kairav hum kal picnic ke liye jaayenge aap, mein,vedika and mishti aur abir ..yaheen kayi paas mein chalenge okay?",asked kartik;
"okay papa yay! hum kal bohot mazein karenge",said kairav who went upstairs;
"bff achanak picnic?",said mishti;
"voh mishti naira ke liye bohot udaas hai voh main bas yeh chahta hoon ki chahein is picnic ki wajah se he thoda uske liye change ho jaaye",said kartik;
"samajh sakte hum kartik bhai in paanch saalon mein kairav and di were like bliss to us",said abir;
"but naira bhi kairav bhi what if he sees her?",said vedika;
"pata nahi jitna i have seen kairav in these 2-3 days he is missing naira but now showing agar kal naira usse dikhi toh ya toh voh uske paas jaake usse hug kar lega ya...",said kartik;
"naira di is test mein zaroor pass hogi bff aap chinta mat karo unka pyaar unke saath hai unke liye voh he kaafi hai",said mishti;
"aur tumhare liye yeh sab sochna nahi don't take stress mishti",said kartik;
"finally main bhi isse pure din yeh hi samjhata rehta hoon but she doesn't listen only",said abir getting an angry glare from mishti while kartik chuckled;
while upstairs kairav was in naira's room which was theirs , all the moments spent with his mumma came in front of his eyes , from him snuggling into naira and sleeping and them eating kachori together he missed her ; at the moment mitali's word did not even hover around him it was just his mother who made him laugh from the very beginning and unknown to him someone had heard him !
