Well... turns out things could get wayyyyy worse.. way worse.
Chris went back to his trailer and I stayed at headquarters because They needed an extra hand.
I tried to comfort adebayo. She didn't feel ready for this job, harcourt took over cause she is better at that than me.
Then she said something "first I manipulated vigilantes into killing peacemakers father and now this-"
"WHAT!" I yell and jump up from my seat. I groan as we are all called by murn.
I zoned out most of the time, worried about Adrian. He's gonna do something really stupid.
"You sent a man after Chris's and May's father! Who is the goddamn white dragon, who is a trained killer! He can kill vigilante!."
I tensed up at the mention of him dying.
John figured out who vigilante was. "Adrian chase, the vigilante."
"Wasnt he our busboy? The one that talked to May...?" They all looked at me, well. I sigh "yea I knew. I'm sorry! He's been my friend since I was a child! I can't just out him like that!"

I couldn't sleep. I just couldn't. I sighed, harcourt was out drinking, and I guess my brother followed her because she texted me a few minutes later telling me my brother is a stalker.
I sat up. I couldn't sleep knowing my childhood best friend, that I also love so much, everything about him, is in jail.
Wait.. friend that I love so much? Did I seriously just admit that?
My thoughts were interrupted by a text "I'm outside, come on let's go pick up your friend."
I smiled widely and left.

When me and harcourt arrived I couldn't help myself.
As he left he went to.... Hug me? I was planning on yelling at him about how stupid he was but... How could I be mad at him when he's hugging me?
I hugged him back.
"Hey, lovebirds let's get in the car!" Harcourt yells as we both blush.

"I think I made things worse.." he says sounding like he's gonna cry.
In my head. I was debating on who I'm staying with, my brother or Adrian.
Shit.
I decided to stay with Adrian practically because he begged me to, and my brother texted me a few minutes earlier saying he needed some alone time.
The night was interesting.
Adrian, Adrian chase who I thought didn't have much feelings...
Cried. In my arms I held him and comforted him.
