Request: Hi may I have a Harry Potter imagine please.
Character: Younger James Potter
Y/n Traits: Would say yes to anything James would ask her to do cause of her crush on him. Y/n thinks of Sirius as a brother figure.
House: Gryffindor
Extra: The Marauders expect James tried to figure out why Y/n did anything James would tell her to do. Sirius is protective over Y/n when it comes to boys as he thinks of himself as a brother figure to her.
Plot: Y/n was best friends with the Marauders since 1st year. Throughout the years she loved watching them pull pranks on people especially Snape, she loved spending everyday with the Marauders but she started to notice that she started feeling different for James and realised she had fallen in love with him.
One day the Marauders asked her to help pull a prank on Snape and she agreed straight away as James had asked her to help cause the Marauders noticed that Y/n would say yes to anything James asked her to do.
After the prank happened Severus Snape complained and told on them to Professor McGonagall who gave them detention.
During detention the Marauders were chatting amongst themselves about why Y/n keeps agreeing to everything James says and why she is been acting differently, so they ask her and Y/n can't hold it in any longer and announces she has a crush on James, the other three Marauders are shocked and look at James who suddenly tells her he feels the same and he kisses her which she does back and the other Marauders go aww cute and James then yells at the Marauders for interrupting but Y/n calms him and he asks Y/n if she would like to be his girlfriend, before she could say anything Sirius tried to protect Y/n from James but in the end she said yes and they all then start to chat for the rest of detention sbout other pranks to do.

You've known the Marauders since day one, from the moment you all entered the Great Hall for the first time to be sorted. Friendships blossomed quickly and you all became inseparable. Being sorted into the same house only added to it. A factor of which you were greatful for.
As the years progessed, you all became quite the little band of mischievous misfits, frequently getting yourselves into trouble although the boys more so. That being said you rarely took part in the practicality of the pranks they pulled. You were still apart of them, of course, but you usually helped plan them out as you never quite got the thrill that the boys did from performing the pranks. It just wasn't your style. Instead you just sat back and watched as the chaos unfolded.
Now that was your entertainment.
It may seem cruel but the pranks which you enjoyed the most were the ones which involved Severus Snape of being the unfortunate victim. You were unsure of why those pranks were your favourite, maybe it was the Slytherin's priceless reaction everytime or maybe it was because it brought James alot of joy and that was what brought you joy?
James.
Now he's someone you find yourself thinking about more then you should do. Especially because you're friends and nothing more right? Somehow and somewhen that line became blurry to you and now your feelings for James are of a romatic interest and not platonic anymore.
Did James feel the same way? You're not sure. But even if he doesn't, you were okay with that as long you're able to spend time with him. That was all you really cared for. It was all that truly mattered if the feelings aren’t mutual. Along with these feelings, you've also come to notice this little habit you have whenever James asks you to do something. You always say yes.
It was both a pleasure and a curse. And something you pray none of the boys will ever find out about. That being said, you're surprised none of them have found out about it. Afterall it's not exactly something you can descretly do. If James asks, you say yes. Without fail. Even Sirius, the one you consider the most as a big brother, has absolutely no clue. You're kind of glad in that aspect however, because with him being over protective of you it would only end badly, in your opinion.
You and Marlene where waking past the boys' classroom, on your way to your next class, when the boys came stumbling out of the room. Their eyes fixed on you. "Y/n." They all called, practically pushing other students out of the way to get to you. You laughed as Marlene shook her head.
"Hi guys." You returned, a small blush working its way onto your cheeks. Somehow none of them noticed. Marlene excused herself, saying something along the lines of needing to talk with Lily before class. You all bid her goodbye.
The moment she was gone, James turned to you. "Y/n/n." He said, using your nickname, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. This was a common gesture for him to do and it was one you sorely loved.
"Prongs." You returned. You couldn't help but smile. He smirked.
Falling into step with you, you all began walking down the corridor on your way to your next class. Transfiguration, if you remember correctly. "So." He began. You looked to him. "We have an idea for our next prank and I was thinking- hoping even- that you'd help us pull it off? I know you don't normally help with that part but-"
"I'd love to help. Definitely." You cut him off, answering a little too quickly. You mentally cursed yourself. James didn't really question it, too distracted with you saying yes, whereas both Sirius and Remus picked up on it. They furrowed their eyesbrows at you before looking to each other.
"Great!" James replied, squeezing your shoulder a little. "We've not ironed out the details but it's going to amazing." He continued. "We'll talk more back in the common room later, okay?"
You nodded. "Okay."

The prank had gone swimmingly or so you thought. The poor victim and unbeknown to you, Severus, had gone and complained about the prank to your head of house, Professor McGonagall, and you were all pulled in very quickly.
"Once again I seem to be telling you four off." McGonagall paused before looking down at you. "Miss Y/l/n, I'm astounded that you saw fit to join in with these shenanigans. I expect so much better from you." She went on. All of you found yourselves hanging your heads low. "Detention, after dinner tonight. And prehaps you'll all learn your lesson. Yes?" McGonagall finished, although you knew she, herself, didn't believe her words. You all were the Marauders after all.
"Yes Professor." You all solemnly nodded.
Detention was dragging, that you were sure on. Every time you looked to the clock McGonagall placed on her desk, it didn't appear to be moving at all. In reality, you knew it was but it sure didn't feel like it.
The boys were chatting amongst themselves while you had your head on the desk. You weren't paying much mind to their conversation until you heard Peter mention your name for second time now. Curious, you sat up.
Ignoring the red mark, that you were positive was on your forehead from the desk, you looked to them. "What?" You questioned quizzically.
They all looked to each other before turning back. James was the one to speak. "Are you okay?" He blurted. You tilted your head. Where's that come from? "It's just we've all notice that you've been acting differently lately."
"How so?" Deep down you knew exactly what James was getting at but you weren't sure if you're ready to admit that yet.
Sirius took over. "You seem to agree to whatever Prongs says or asks and we just want to know why." He pressed, being more straight forward then James was.
You sat there, in silence. You have to tell them now, you just have to. The boys practically already know. Weighing up your options, you ultimately opted to admit your secret. "Here goes." Taking a deep breath, you opened your mouth.
"I- okay..." You trailed off, your hands becoming increasingly sweaty. This is harder then you thought. "I- I have these feelings for James. I didn't even realise this, myself, until a couple of months ago but I have a crush on him- you." You stammered, your face going red as you looked away. You were waiting for their reaction, your brain convinced it'll be a bad one but instead you were met with a round of silence. Was this any better?
When you turned back to them, you saw their shocked faces, Sirius and James more so. The boys all then looked to James who, you were positive, was blushing just as much as you were.
"Well that's certainly a relief." He started after what felt like forever. His gaze finally meeting yours again. "Because I have this crush on you too." You were sure your heart stopped for a second there. He was joking right?
"You're-" You went to say but James cut you off, seemingly knowing what you were thinking.
"Being serious, yeah." He confirmed, his expression more genuine then you've seen before. You smiled, happy by this discovery.
Shuffling his chair a little and leaning towards you, James swiftly pulled your face into his as he kissed you. You kissed back. Both Remus and Peter cooing at the sight. Your face was bright red for sure.
You were the one to break the kiss, unable to contain your laughter at Remus and Peter. James glared at them for the same reason, seemingly annoyed by his friends.
"Hey!" He snapped, gaining their attention. "Do you mind?" His words coming out harsher then he intended.
Peter shook his head in a joking manner. "Not at all." This only cause the two boys to burst out laughing again. You could see how frustrated their actions made James and so out of instinct you placed a hand over his.
"James, it's fine. They're just messing around. It's okay." You reassured. James looked to you but still didn't buy it. "I promise." You added. This seemed to help as James visibly relaxed and gave you a sweet smile.
"So umm... would you like to be my girlfriend? You know my partner in crime." James mumbled suddenly, stammering over his words a little.
As much as you wanted to say yes immediately, you couldn't help but find the way he worded the question cute. Which it was. But before you could give your answer, Sirius spoke first.
"Hang on, are we not going to think about this for a minute, here? At all?" Sirius questioned. All of you looked to him. "James, you were literally pining over Lily last year like..." He trailed off.
You were well aware of James pining over Lily, who wasn't? But you also knew that James lost interest with that, with Lily, sometime over the summer. So it isn't something you have to worry about.
You looked to Sirius. You knew he was only looking out for you and you appreciated it. "We have thought about this Sirius." You began, your eyes glancing to James. "At least I know I have."
"I have as well mate." James chimed, sending his friend a smile.
Sirius looked between you both before reluctantly sighing. "Okay." He nodded.
After that, after giving your answer to James and him giving you another kiss to celebrate your new status as an item, you all went happily back to chatting. Talking over and thinking of new pranks.
