I stopped in track. I looked behind at him. I waited for him to say something.
" Nothing " he came forward with a smile.
We make our way out. Shivaay slowly let himself relax. We came back to the spot where we few hours ego. Rudra and Manav were their soon Om, Gauri joined us.
" Let's eat something I am hungry " Manav said dragging us towards the stall. Shivaay go ahead to give order. Their were small tables so Om gauri take the one. Manav, Rudra taken one he wouldn't let me sit there seriously. I don't what is going in their head.
I was waiting for Shivaay who is standing at the shop. When a small child came to him asked something. Shivaay give him the plate and ruffle his hairs. Automatically smile formed on my face.
" Here " shivaay said keeping the plate in front of me. He sat opposite to me.
" Where is your plate. "
" Ohh they are running out of stock so it will take around 20 mins. Till then you have. "
This person seriously. How I will eat alone. He provided plates to everyone except himself. I seriously love this quality of his and equally hate also.
" You have this I will wait. " I said forwarding the plate in front of him.
" It's just matter of few minutes Anika"
" That's what I am saying it's just a matter of few minutes" by a look on his face I knew he is not going to agree. Stubborn person.
" Ohk fine give me two minutes I am coming. " I go back to shop ask the vendor to give extra plate and spoon.
I placed half items in other plate and placed in front of him. He signed but start eating. Everyone says right he surely don't know how to take care of himself.
We are eating when Ishaan come towards us.
"Bale papa"
" Why you always feel so happy to make others run behind you. " Shivaay said to ishaan making him sit on his lap. He tell gauri he will make him eat . When he saw gauri coming running behind Ishaan.
I giggled seeing Ishaan expression he was frowning cutely.
" Balii maaa" he looked at me for the rescue.
" This is not working Ishaan how many times I told you not to trouble Gauri." Before I say something shivaay break his all hopes. He forward one morsel towards Ishaan he gulp it immediately. How much I adored there bond.
"Shivaay stop lecturing him he is kid."
" But this little man is becoming too much naughty day by day. " To which he cutely pouted.
"Balii maa " he said comes to me sit on my lap and kissed my cheek.
"Wow great did you just changed your team " with wide eyes shivaay exclaimed. Me and Ishaan just hi-fi each other chuckling.
" See your bade papa is getting jealous from us. "
" Why I will get jealous?? " Shivaay narrowed his eyes.
" It is written all over on your face shivaay accept it "
" When I am not why I will" no one can win from him. I soaked my head. Start feeding Ishaan. Ishaan told whatever he seen on the way in his language with doing actions. He was looking so cute.
After that we decide to head back as whether is becoming bad.We are heading back when shivaay stopped me.
" Anika stop at the side I have to take the call. " I stopped at the corner.
" What the hell is wrong with you Mishra why have been you telling me important things at last moment. " Came shivaay Stern voice. Poor Mishra jii he has to listen Shivaay scolding now and then.
" What will I do of your sorry now "
He just slam his feet to Tyre. Now looking very pissed off.
" Listen to me carefully Mishra. Book the ticket for the first flight tomorrow. Check all the paperwork. Presentation I will handle. Not a single mistake I want. Also schedule a meeting with members who are working with us. I want everything perfect make sure of that. " All Joly mood happiness left the moment I heard him. I just hoping that I heard something wrong.
He just throw his Bluetooth standing their massaging his temple with one hand other busy with mobile. Clearly he is looking tensed. I moved towards him keep my hand on his shoulder.
" Shivaay what happened?? "
" I have to leave tomorrow early in morning. " Automatically my hand slipped.
" But why suddenly??" I asked with heavy heart. I am just not ready for this. We were leaving day after the tomorrow. It's just a matter of one day but then why I am feeling like this.
Anika you need to control yourself.
" I told you about the project right the one for attacks are happening. So they want to complete this process as soon as possible. So their is final meeting are kept day after tomorrow. This is the most important project for Oberoi industry. "
" You will definitely get this deal Shivaay. You are working on this from so long. "
" I don't know. " he mumbled.
"What happened why you are standing here ??" Om and gauri came.
" Nothing important call. Let's go. "
I started to drive again. Their is sudden heaviness I am feeling. Just fews hours Shivaay is here. And don't know next when we are going to meet. I wish I could spent this last few hours with him. But for now his work is important. It was one of his dream project. I just wish his all dreams come true. Rest of the journey both didn't say anything.
Finally we reached back farmhouse. It's already near the dinner time. Elders were sitting in living room.
" I want to tell something " shivaay announced.
" What happened?? Shivaay "
" I am leaving back to Mumbai tomorrow morning. "
" What why Shivaay what happened suddenly ??"
" Dad you know about the New Android project we are working. They decided to have final meeting day after tomorrow. It's an important deal we can't afford to lose it "
" Shivaay what this postpone it " pinky mom said annoyingly.
" I can't mom it's not in my hands. "
" This is not the first time it is happening Shivaay. "
" If it will be my hands I have already postpone it . "
" It's an very important deal for Oberoi's. Shivaay you prepare for the same. " Bade papa said.
" Send my dinner in room only. " Saying left.
" This people never let him live in peace. " Pinky mom mumbled.
We all left to respective room.
I don't understand why I am feeling like this. It's been few days only we are living at same place. I am seriously overthinking.
Pinky mom called me for dinner. But
I already lose my appetite. But I eat only rice , dal and tried to behave normally.
After everyone retired to their room almost everyone are very tried. I was filling water bottle in kitchen when servant came in kitchen with full plate of food back.
" Whose plate is this?? "
" Shivaay sir he asked to take back and bring him the coffee. "
" Oh you can go I will give him. "
" Ohk mam. "
In work he seriously forgot everything. Except one thing his only love coffee that I came to know in this few days with some of his other habits.
After making his coffee I came in room and take his coat also that he has given me yesterday.
I came to his room and knocked.
" Come in "
I came inside to find him engrossed deeply in laptop. Talking to someone on bluetooth. With 5-6 empty cups. All clothes are on bed bag at the other corner. He must be doing packing.
"Tell me the process how to open corrupted file. I already knew the problem I am just asking the solution."
" How much time it will take. "
" What no I am giving you 30 mins. Complete the task or else forgot about your job. " He just threatened the employee. No wonder why people called him with so many names.
" Coffee " I said grabbing his attention.
"Why you bring it I asked the servant."
" I was coming to give this coat also. " I said showing him the coat.
Before he reply their was call.
" Mishra I asked you for experienced technical person. And to whom you approached seriously are you out of your mind. This is some kind of joke to you. "
" I don't know do whatever you want. I want to see that file in 30 mins. "
Seriously I am pitting to Mishra jii. Even my boss didn't shout this much.
" I didn't shout unnecessarily. "

" I know what are you thinking. "
" How do you know ??"

" Can I ask you what happened why are stressing ??"
" I don't what happened with my laptop my files are not opening. All files are showing files are corrupted. "
" Can I try once ?"
" But files are important so do it carefully. "
" Until then I will pack my bags. "
I take his laptop. After I seeing the problem. I start doing my work.
After 15 mins finally file opened.
" It's done " I said looking him. Who already packed his bag isn't that fast. I can't pack this fast.

He came and sit beside me. I handed him the laptop.
" What did you do ?? For half an hour I am struggling with this. "
" Nothing runned some commands. And you could have informed me I am working in IT sector. "
" It didn't came in my mind. Thank you finally I can do work."
" Why didn't you eat dinner ??"
" Didn't felt to eat " engrossing in checking the file.
" How will you when drinking coffee like a water. "
I taught to spend some time with him. But he is busy with work. I know work is important but can't he just take out some time. Anika don't think like this project is important for him I mentally scolded myself for thinking like this. My eyes fall on the bag which he kept at the corner than at shivaay who is completely engrossed in work.
It's better I should leave. Giving him the last look I came outside and closed the door.
I was in my room. Sitting near the balcony on the mattress in ground and covered with blanket hugging pillow looking at the stars. Why I am feeling like crying. I never felt this bad when I felt left out early. Not even when someone makes fun of me.
But this time it is unsettling with me.
Only one person is responsible for my condition one and only Shivaay Singh Oberoi who is working there forgetting everything.
That's why I always try not to have any exceptions from others because at last you are the only one who is going to hurt.
Today even this stars are not helping me. It's better I should sleep. Before that I thought to go washroom. After completing the business I came back but before I can slip inside the blanket someone knocked on my door. I see the time at this time who is here.
I opened door to find Shivaay standing. That is surprising. I thought he might be working.
" Are you sleeping. "
" No just going to sleep "
" Good you forgot about something "
" What ??" I tried to remember what I forgot.
" Let me come in "
" Oh sorry" I opened the door he came inside I locked the door.
" Why are you sleeping on floor " he said looking towards mattress at the corner.
" Just felt I usually sleep like this "
" Here " he showed me the tray which I didn't notice.
I opened the lid to find pasta. I looked towards with a surprise evident on my face. He remembered and also he cooked for me at this time. My heart filled with happiness seeing his gesture.
" I want to cook it earlier but because of that file issue I caught up with work. "
I looked at him with a full blown smile on my face. The guilty expression on his face just melt my heart.
" Thankyou so much Shivaay. "
" Are you going to just stare at it "
"No I can't do injustice with this pasta"to which he chuckle.
I take the bowl and sat on the previous place.
" Nobody has given you punishment Shivaay you can sit."
I take the first bite and close my eyes when pasta hit my taste buds. It's so damn good.
" God this is so yummy. From where you learnt to cook. I also want to know the recipe of this. "
" It's my secret recipe. "
" Share with me I swear I will keep this as a secret only. "
" Then tell me one secret that you didn't tell anyone."
" Typical business man. "
" That I am now ball is in your court. "
Before I can say anything my phone start ringing. I looked the caller id it's from bhavya as expected because the stunt I pulled today. I declined. Again she called me.
" Why are you declining their must be something important call."
" No if I will receive she is going to kill me "
" Why what you have done "
"See this "
I forwarded my phone to him played the video which I shoot of Rudra when he is clearly flirting with a girl.
"Don't tell this to anyone Rudra and Bhavya like each other. "
" Seriously Rudra and Bhavya. How you know, I saw them fighting like Tom and Jerry in our engagement???"
" Everytime they both need topic to fight with eachother. They thought I didn't notice but I am not fool the way they both behave with eachother clearly show their is something going on. Because I know both of them. "

" I just can't wait to see them together. Now I told you the secret now your turn."
" Just the same simple recipe. I didn't add anything. "
What came in my mind I forwarded my spoon full of pasta in front of his mouth. He didn't eat anything as he stressing over work and now he cooked for me also. Before he could deny.
" You didn't have your dinner also atleast have this. And if you are not eating I am also not eating. "
" You start blackmailing a lot. " he said taking a bite.
He start scrolling the pictures in my phone I started telling him about the incidents related the pictures he is listening so carefully. I kept feeding him in this way atleast he ate something.
I kept the empty bowl on tray. Give him the water. With him I don't know why time fly so fast. Just few more hours.
" Anika this is you right" he said showing me the picture trying hard to control his laughter.
I tried to take my phone back that was my childhood picture I was eating ice-cream and Cream over my mouth it's so embarassing.
" Shivaay give my phone back. "
" I want this picture" he start laughing. Again I tried to snatch he hide the mobile behind his back.
" Shivaay please" I again tried but he is not in mood to listen today.
When finally held his hand I realised our position I was so close to him. I moved back.
He cleared his throat. I take the phone. But he already send the picture.
" This is not fair delete that picture shivaay. "
"Not happening."
" I will tell mom "
" You can try. "
I see the time it's quite late. How I wished time to stop.
" Shivaay you should go and sleep . You have flight early morning. "
" I am not going to sleep "
" Why ??" I said locking my gaze with him. Clearly stunned with his reply.
" Because I want to spend the remaining few hours with you. I can do work latter also sleep. But these hours that we have got today. Each minute I want to give you. Because after this day we don't know when we meet again. Or directly that our wedding only. So I can't forge this chance with you. "
This man surely know how to melt others heart with his words.
" I have one more thing for you. " He said standing.
" Now what?? "
" Wait for 5 mins I am coming back. "
He said leaving the room and exactly after 5 mins he came back with a frame in his hand. This was one of four frames we gifted to priyanka and Gauri.
" This is for you"
" No I am not taking this. You already had given me so many gifts. "

" But this is for you that day you were so excited to see now when I am asking you. You are denying. "
" But Shivaay ..."

I take the frame from his hands. Slowly unwrapped the cover.
It's my child hood picture with maa, papa and Rudra. From where he got this picture.
" A perfect family picture. "
" No it is not Shivaay "
" What but I asked him to paint it properly. Let me see. "
" Where it is incomplete Anika " he said sitting beside me. Looking the picture very carefully.
" Without you my family is incomplete Shivaay."
His gaze met mine there were so many emotions in his eyes. Not able to held his intense gaze I looked outside the window. We sat their in silence after a few minutes.
" Anika are you happy ??? " I looked at him in confusion.
