Lauren's POV
"Wake up it's time for school!" I suddenly heard before getting my covers ripped off of me.
I think she was more excited than we were.
"Ugh, do I have to?" I whined.
"Yes, you have to finish your last year now come on up up!" Then left my room.
I forced myself out of my bed, did my morning routine, and then made my way downstairs.
"Morning people." I greeted and sat down.
"Morning Laur." my family harmonized.
"Dad did they drop off my car yet?" I asked.
"Yeah, it's outside the keys are by the door and you have to take Chris and Taylor to school." he replied.
Yup I have a car. It's a sports car actually, what can I say? I love speed. I got it for my 16th birthday, along with other things.
"Well we got to go, don't want to be late on the first day, come on guys."
As we exited, my sister suddenly yelled, "I call shotgun!" and ran towards the vehicle.
"Aww Laur, that's not fair I'm older." Chris whined turning to look at me.
"Sorry dude she called it." I said chucking.
We got in, with a whiny Chris in the back and off we went towards our new school. Tay turned on the radio and Summertime Sadness was on by Lana del Rey.
"I love this song!" I said happily.
"You guys have a really bad music taste." Chris muttered.
"What did you say?" Tay asked.
"Nothing." Chris quickly replied.
"That's what I thought."
I put the top down and instantly felt the wind blowing my hair along with Tay's. The Miami Heat was clearly felt too. The weather here is so much better than Seattle's. Then we spent 5 more minutes cruising with the top down towards the school.
We soon spotted the sign that said 'Welcome to Miami High' and drove towards it and searched for a parking spot. Once found, we got out and looked around. There was all sorts of people walking in all directions. Teachers running towards the entrance with their coffee and papers in hand. Then there was the freshmen looking really lost.
Together, we walked towards the entrance and once inside we struggled to find the main office. If you thought outside was chaotic, inside is even worse. We walked up and down hallways, I'm pretty sure we explored the entire school trying to find the office. At last we found the office and asked for our schedules.
"Would you three like someone to help you find the classes?" the lady at the front desk asked.
"Yes please." Taylor said. I expected it because she was a freshmen.
"Okay, someone will be here shortly." The lady then said after getting off the phone.
We waited for about another 5 minutes until I saw a dark skinned girl enter with a shorter lighter skinned girl. They were both beautiful though.
"Hi I'm Normani and this is Ally." the dark skinned girl said introducing themselves.
"Hi I'm Lauren and these are my siblings Chris and Taylor."
"Hi" they both said awkwardly.
"Well come on lets go sunshines " the girl named Ally said. She's short and adorable I think I'm going to get along with her just fine. Then Normani is really nice so I'll get along with her too.
They lead us through the halls easily because people would get out the way as soon as they spotted them.
"Are you guys popular or something?" I asked.
"You could say that. But we're the nice popular people not like in the movies where they're snobby rich kids." Normani explained.
"Oh okay that's nice." I said.
"Yeah so can I see your schedule?"
I handed her my schedule and she read through my classes, "Omg! You have the same classes as Ally and I." she said happily.
"Really?"
"Yes really, so your going to see a lot of us which means you're going to be in our squad."
"Your squad?" I asked confused.
"Yea like our group of friends, but we say squad because we thugs" Ally said throwing up the peace sign causing me to laugh.
"Well alright then" I smiled.
"Hey how about us?" Taylor asked.
For a moment there I had forgotten that they were still here.
"Well Chris you're pretty cute and girls would want you so you'll fit in just fine" Normani said causing Chris to blush
"Then Taylor you're really pretty so you'll probably get friends from all grades, consider us your friends too" Ally continued.
Both of them showed Chris and Taylor where their classes were located and then they went on their way, leaving me with Normani and Ally.
"So any sports your interested in Laur? Is it okay if I call you that?" Ally asked.
"Well there's softball, I've played pretty much my entire life and yea you can you're not the first person that does." I said smiling.
"You should totally tryout for it then!" Normani encouraged.
"You think so?"
"Yeah we need as much seniors to play this year so we could continue our winning championships streak." She explained.
"Then I'll do it." I said smiling.
"Alright, good I'm trying out too."
"What about Ally?" I asked.
"I don't do sports, I'm too short, I stay with books and work." she said laughing
"Oh okay." I said joining in on her laugh.
We continued on our way towards the classroom and once inside we went towards the back row of seats.
"So Laur, tell us about yourself" Ally said.
"Well I'm from Seat- All the way across the country?!" Normani said excitingly interrupting me.
"Yeah" I said.
"Wow, but I'm sorry continue."
"My dad got promoted and we moved over here and I'm glad I have friends on the first day." I said smiling
"Well duh we're pretty awesome." Normani playfully bragged.
"So have you had any boyfriends?" Ally asked
"Yeah and gir-" I cut myself off. I don't know if I should tell them. I mean they're popular, I'm pretty sure they're straight, extremely straight. What will they do when I tell them I'm bi?
"And what Laur?" Ally asked.
"Umm and that they were good relationships, they will always end in good terms." I said
"Well that's good" they said.
"Yeah how about you guys?"
"Oh my gosh I forgot to tell you Mani!" Ally yelled.
"Tell me what?" She asked confused.
"Troy asked me out!!"
"Oh! What did you say??"
"Yes, duh!"
Then they both started squealing while I sat there really confused. I didn't know who this Troy guy was so yeah. Once their 'moment' was over they realized I was there looking confused.
"Oh Laur, Troy is this guy Ally's been crushing on forever and he finally asked her out as you heard." Normani explained.
"Oh okay I get it now." I said smiling.
We continued talking until the teacher came in and told us to stop. He was in the middle of a lecture when there was a knock on the door. I was busy writing some things down so I didn't see the person until they spoke.
Their voice was the most angelic voice I've ever heard. I looked up and there was a girl with light skin tone, brown eyes, and beautiful long brown hair. I couldn't get my eyes off her. It was like they had a mind of their own.
