Izuku opens his eyes, the bright light of the the hospital room no longer there. His eyes adjust to the darkness of the room, before noticing it's night outside.
'There's no way I could've fell asleep for that long..or maybe jt was the pain meds?' Izuku's woozy mind thinks, and he searches for anyone else in the room.
He notices Aizawa, and Present mic in the corner discussing something. The two look over to him, and mic smiles widely.
"Jesus Shouta! He's just as adorable as you said!" Mic half shouts, and Aizawa internally face plams. Izuku looks at the two of them, clearly confused.
"So..Izuku, we have something to talk to you about." Izuku's tenses, whenever someone says that, it's always something bad after. Maybe it's foster-care, or jail time. What could it be?
"So.. I was thinking to adopt you..." Sizawa trails off, when he sees the shocked look on Izuku's face.
"B-but, what about Hikari? Or Kenji? Or Eimiko? Wait, is Hiroto and Eri gonna get sent to foster care? What about them? Shouldn't you take them instead of me?" He falls into a trail of mutters, the only thing is why he shouldn't.
"Izuku, Everyone is going to be split among pros. Hiroto and Eri and finna be with Tsukauchi, Kenji and Hikari are gonna stay with Nemuri, Eimiko's gonna stay with Nezu. We have everything figured out."
"Oh..okay."
"And, you never gave us an answer on the teacher-Assistant thing." Present mic adds.
"If everyone is going, then I will. I'm not gonna make them go without me," Izuku admits
Aizawa lifts his head a bit an excimer, but covers ur before Mic notices it. He doesn't need mic yelling in his ears about if
"So..is that a yes to me adopting you too? Only if you want, because I have shinsou there too." Aizawa says.
"Yeah! And I'm the best uncle ever, I promise!" Izuku smiles at that.
"O..okay, as long as I don't have to bother you."
"Great! Zawa, I have another nephew from you!" He hugs Aizawa in exciment
"Your lucky I consider you a brother, Zashi." He scoffs, and Hizashi rolls his eyes.
"Anyways, kid, your allowed for discharge. I can't remember when you were suppose to but there letting you out early.."
"I can't really feel my legs, and my back is killing me right now. I don't think I can really stand.." Izuku says
"Yeah, your doctor told us about that. We can't keep you in one spot for too long, and no over quirk usage. Or else it will get worse," Izuku shrugs, and tries to stand up
The minute he gets off the bed, be nearly collapses, until Aizawa's capture scarf catches him.
"I really can't feel my legs. Like, its's completely numb." He adds to what he said earlier. Aizawa grabs the wheelchair provided by the hospital, and helps Izuku in it.
"I don't think the wheelchairs necessary though.."
"Yes, jt is, until we get to our house. Then we'll work on moving you around so your legs won't be so numb. And the pain killers for your back."
Izuku sighs, and lets Mic wheel him out, Aizawa lazily trailing behind.
They arrive at the House, and they notice Hitoshi and Kaminari having mini picnic outside, one big cake and two wine glasses.
Izuku stares in awe and envy, and Hitoshi catches his glance. He smiles back, and then turns back to Kaminari.
"That's Hitoshi, the one with the purple hair," Aizawa says, pointing at him.
"..he seems nice," izuku responds
"And that's his bestfriend, Kaminari. Even though I don't like loud blondes strictly because I live with one." Aizawa says, Mic gives him a sharp glare but he shrugs it off.
Izuku listens to the word again, 'best friend'. He doesn't think any of them, Kenji, Hikari, or Eimiko are his bestfriends.
They may hang out, live with each other, and do stuff for each other. But does that make them best friends? What if they don't see him that way?
Izuku 'a train of the thought was cut off by a hand on his shoulder. He looks up to see Aizawa giving him a 'Are-you-okay-you-can-say-what's-wrong' type look.
"I'm alright, eraser."
"You can call me Aizawa or shouta, not like you don't already, and you can call that blonde Hizashi or Yamada."
Izuku nods in response, and continues waking WhT by he support of Aizawa. Yamada opens the door, and helps them inside. They sit izuku in a chair near the kitchen
"So..what about my job at the Café? Embry is gonna hate me, I haven't been to work in almost a week I think," Aizawa thinks about this for a moment
"You can continue working, but, you can't work basically all day anymore. You need rest, and 2, your a teacher now." Izuku nods in response, the thought of leaving Embry alone in the kitchen for so long worries him
"Also, Yamada will help you tk your room. The pain killers are already there." Izuku mumbles a thank you, and tries to stand up. The majority of the numbness is gone, but still some in his ankles
He starts walking towards Yamada, and Yamada grabs his arm, helping him up the steps into an army green room.
"The color, it..reminds me of my old home, back with the Yagi's.."
"We can change the color if you like! Jt came with the house, sorry."
"No, no it's alright I like army green. I could paint it myself, if I wanted to." Yamada nods, and helps Izuku sit down
"You can take a nap if you want, the TV remotes right by you, and we'll wake you at dinner." Izuku nods, and lays dow
He waits until he hears the quiet click of the door, and lays in the bed, thinking.
'I wonder what Kenji and them are doing. Do you think Ei and Ken are dating? They probably are, just haven't told me. They were always close, I know that..'
He went from thinking about his roommates, to Seiko, and to his Biological family. he let his thoughts soothe down after a while, and fell asleep.
"IZUKU! DINNER'S READY!" Izuku's wakes up , nearly covered in sweat from the wake up call. The last time he heard some time of yelling like that was with all might.
Izuku opens the door anyways, slightly wobbly, and walks down the steps. He sees the purple hair, Aizawa, and Yamada sitting there
"You sure did sleep for a while," Aizawa laughs, and izuku rolls his eyes. He sits down, a seat away from Hitoshi
He puts his head down on the island, until Yamada speaks up, "What do you guys want for dinner tomorrow?"
"Isn't jt really early to think that far ahead?" Hitoshi asks, and Yamada shrugs.
"I dunno, I just need to get groceries in the morning."
"Okay, what about Katsudon?" Aizawa nods in agreement
"Hey, Izuku, do you like Katsudon?"
"Yeah..I can help make it.." he says in through his arms
"Really? You don't have too."
"Either that, or I buy groceries. I owe you for letting me stay here," he insists
"Finee, you can cook, I won't allow you to spend your money on groceries.."
"I have extra money I don't use, it's fine." Yamada thanks him, and they all start eating, enjoying Yamada's cooking. Izuku findihes first, and goes to wash his dish
"You don't have to wash, Aizawa will. It's his turn." Izuku nods, and just puts them in.
"Goodnight, Aizawa." Aizawa waves to him, and he returns to his room.
He lays on the bed, thinking if what to do now that he doesn't to his work. He turns on his TV, and watches it till he falls asleep again
