"Y/N....it's my pleasure to finally get to have a battle with you"
"It's my pleasure too, Solidad." You said shaking hands with her in the middle of the battle field. (Your wearing that pink skirt showed in the previous chapter)
"I really wished to have a battle with you in the last grand festival, but sadly I had to lose and didn't got the chance"
"I also wished that I could fight with you"

"Yep!" You said smiling, trying your best not to mess up

"Pikachu...dont worry we will be there soon....and Y/N, I'm so sorry, that I won't be able to find you now...I need to help Pikachu" Ash said holding his sick Pikachu closer sitting in one of the bed inside of the ferry

"A call from Professor Birch's lab came, they want to talk to you"

"Well, Arlo, wanted to tell you that Ash Ketchum was here"

"Yeah, his Pikachu is not in a great condition, and it just ran away so Ash and Professor Birch started to follow it, they might be back soon"
"Alright, thank you for informing, Y/N is currently in the final round of her contest, after the round is over we will try to go there as soon as possible"
"Alright then, hope she wins" Professor Birch's assistant said before hanging off the phone as Arlo rushed to the back stage once again to see everyone has only 30 more seconds as the crowd was getting excited more and more every second.
"Alright butterfree String shot! Lapras, ice beam!"
"Mightyena! Crunch and Thunder fang on Lapras and Swellow! Use Air Slash!" You said looking at the time 'only 20 seconds left'
All the four attacks collided and there was Sparkly Ice shards covered with butterfree's shiny string shots covered the field
"Alright! Mightyena! Go for fire fang right at Butterfree! And Swellow! Aerial ace at Lapras!"

"Congratulations! On winning the ribbon" Nurse Joy said handing you the ribbon standing beside you was Solidad, Drew and more other competitors who participated. You took the ribbon and once again waved at the crowd as Arlo was taking millions of pictures.
"Congratulations!" He said hugging you as you finally sat in the dressing room with your pokémons out playing
"Thank you, Arlo. I'm surprised to know that I won against Solidad...."
"Welp, you trained your pokémons with love and care so it was supposed to happen"
"Arlo, is correct tho" Drew said entering the room
"D-drew?!" You said surprised as your pokémons looked at him

"It's nothing- nothing!"
"Your acting weird Y/N" He said stepping closer placing a hand in your forehead, you alright?"
"Hey! Step back!" You replied face red like a tomato
'I should slip off while I have the chance' Arlo thought grabbing Teddiursa and ran off
"Uhm.. Anyways, where is Solidad?"
"She said she needed to call someone so she will be here later"
"Alright" You said trying to fix your hair back to normal (if you got really short hair, or your bald, then I'm sorry 💀)
"Now, you can't even do your hair?" Drew said smirking
"Hey! I can!" You said getting embarrassed
"Give me that" He took your brush and started to do your hair
"Hey, Drew, Y/N-" Solidad said entering the dressing room "oh, uhh, should I come later..?"
"NO!" You both said shouting as you ran towards her "S-so! Solidad! I wanted to talk to you!" You said as your pokémons looked at you (funny anime-cally) shocked

"I'll go to uhhh...safari zone? Arlo wanted to go there, so why not?"
"Thats nice, I was heading to Lavaridge, got some work there"

"Don't worry, I called them back a few moments ago and heard that Ash will stay till tomorrow, they will probably tell Ash where to go next or he will do that"
"Fine! Alright everyone! Return!" You returned your pokémons back excluding Spearow who sat outside as you again went to fix yourself back.

"You should be fine by morning, Pikachu!"

"After your alright, we will go and find Y/N and Arlo!" "Chu!"

In the morning (so many skips-)
Ash finally dressed up and went outside of the lab
"Pikachu's alright?" May asked as Torchic was behind her

"Pika" He said going towards the Torchic
"Now, you two will have to register for the Hoenn league in the nearest town!"
"Sounds great, I wonder if Y/N had already registered and went to the league...."
"Uhhhh, walking all that long makes me nervous, and my bike's destroyed, all thanks to your Pikachu mister"

"There must be a solution to get to oldale town safely on foot.... Hey! Why don't we get there together? I happen to know the way there"

"Really Ash, I don't mind at all, it's no trouble really, shall we?" May said petting Pikachu

"Oh and Ash" Professor Birch interrupted "You were talking about Y/N right?"

"Yes I do, she was coming back to my lab soon after she heard that your here"

"Let's see, they were in the [random town]'s name, it is really far away from oldale town, if she takes route 103 while returning, then you might meet her or if you don't, and she comes here, I'll make sure to tell her you to go to Oladale town and talk to the nurse joy there"
"Alright! Then let's go!" Ash said leaving the place with pikachu and may
"Who's Y/N?" May asked confused
"Y/N is a friend of ours, we all got into some problems, so she left to Hoenn, now that I'm finally at Hoenn! I'll travel with her and Arlo again!"

"He's Y/N's neighbour, he started to travel with her"

"Quick! I just want to go there fast!"
"Y/N, I'm not controlling of the boat, and you need to calm, down. We will find Ash soon don't worry"

"*sigh* someone save me" Arlo said as the boat to Slateport to Littleroot town stopped

"I'm sorry, but he left the place with another girl named May a few days ago"

"Yes, they were talking about going to the next gym, in petalburg"

"Look! It's Y/N!" "And her prized Spearow!" "Oh my god! She's here!" "Y/N! I'm a big fan of you!" "And is it her lil brother Arlo!?" "Wait- where are you three going?! I want an autograph!" I heard the crowd gather toward the entrance of the hall to meet someone
"Did they said, Y/N and Arlo?" Brock asked
"I guess so? So you mean she's here?!"
"She might be!"
"Y/N was here to watch our contest! Oh my God!- Wait, you both also know Y/N?" Janet and Chaz asked us
"You also know her?"
"Who doesn't know her in Hoenn?!" Max suddenly said "she's the winner of previous year's grand festival! And a really great coordinator from Kanto! She's also great in gym battles and will participate in the league soon! And her Spearow! She's amazing! She even battled in my father's gym!"
"So it is Y/N!" Me and Brock shouted.
After everyone, including Janet and Chaz left the contest hall, I ran outside the place to search for Y/N
"So you mean she travelled with you?!" I heard Max and May gasp
"Yea! She did, me, Brock, Y/N, Arlo and another friend of ours travelled through half of Kanto and some time till Johto until she left"
"Why did she left?"
"....there was some reasons, I think she should answer"
"Ash! There she is! Woohoo! Y/N! Arlo! We are here!"
We stopped running as Brock waved towards Y/N and Arlo, who were busy talking about something

"Okay, Arlo, listen, do you want me to make some pokéblocks for Teddiursa later or the ones I made earlier are still with you-" You got cut off by hearing Brock's voice "Brock! Ash!" You said running towards them with Arlo and gave them a quick hug

"Y/N! Dear you look great as the last time I saw you AAACK-" Brock kneeled down and took your hands in his palms but immediately got knocked down by Teddiursa
"No! Teddiursa! He's a friend not an enemy! I'm so sorry Brock!" Arlo apologized and returned Teddiursa back to his Pokéball
"Ow- that hurts" He said getting up
"We are so sorry haha"
"Wait! Y/N! Do you remember us?" May and Max came in front of you hoping for a 'yes'

Me and Arlo both went of a ferry from Ecruteak to littleroot town and first went to professor Birch's lab to call Professor Oak
"Excuse me? Is professor Birch here?"
"Yea! I'm here!" I heard someone shout
"Y/N, there he is" Arlo pointed towards Professor Birch
"Uhm, so are you a new trainer, starting your journey? Cause I don't remember that someone was coming to pick up a pokémon today"
"No no! I'm not a new trainer!"
"Oh! Then?"
"Professor, my name is Y/N L/N, and I'm from Pallet Town in the Kanto region, and this is Arlo, he's also from there, we just came to the Hoenn region and there wasn't any Pokémon center nearby and I don't really know any places here so someone told me to come to your lab and ask for the directions and stuffs"
"Ah, alright then Y/N"
"Professor, if you won't mind, can you tell me from where I can call Professor Oak?"
"Professor Oak?! You know him?!"
"Y-yea, he was the who gave me-" I started but again thought that how I got my starter "-kinda gave me, my starter"
"That's great! I didn't knew you know Professor Oak, well there is the phone, you can call him from there" Me and Arlo went over to the phone and rang professor
"Hello? Oh Y/N! How are you?"
"I'm doing fine, Professor"
"Did you and Ash got any new badges?"
"Oh, about that...Professor Oak...." I started and told him everything that happened and where me and Arlo were currently
"It's alright, Y/N, I won't tell it to anyone"
"Thank you so much! Oh and the thing I wanted to say, can you update, my pokédex, so I can get Hoenn region's pokémon's info?"
"Your at Professor Birch's lab, right?"
"Yea, why?"
"If he's near, can you call him?"
"I'll do that!" Arlo said "Professor Birch! Professor Oak is calling you!"
"Yes, Professor?" Professor Birch said getting up from a nearby couch
"Birch, can you please give Y/N a Hoenn Pokédex for me?"
"Of course, I can! You can come with me right now and I can give it to you"
"Alright! Thank you, good bye Professor Oak" You said hanging the call and followed Professor Birch
"Here" He said handing you a Dex
"Thank you so much!" I thanked him and shortly after left the place
After we travelled through Oldale Town > Petalburg and then to Rustboro, I learnt about the contests there and started to participate....and won the grand festival? But then while waiting for contests to start again... I challenged the gyms caught more pokémons and waited for Ash to get to Hoenn so we can challenge the league together.....?

"And also met Dre-" Arlo started but you immediately covered his face

"Alright? Oh! can we see your new pokémons?" Brock asked
"Yeah, sure! C'mon out everybody!" You said letting out your pokémons

"Woah! They are so cool!" Ash said pulling out his dex as May and max went over to them
"Hey, then who's teddiursa was that?" Brock asked
"Mine!" Arlo raised his hand
"Arlo? Aren't you a bit too young for pokémons?"
"Yep! But I promised to take care of them well! And Y/N gave me the permission! C'mon out! Teddiursa, Plusle!"
"Woah! You got two pokémons?!" Max said
"Yep"
"May! Why can't I have pokémons?! Arlo is even one year younger than me!"
"Well ask, mom and dad about it, they said you will get it once your 10!"
"Ugh" Max huffed as Arlo rolled his eyes.

'Y/N!? S-she's back?! It's been long...should I tell Jessie and Meowth about this..?'
"Oi what are you looking at?" James jumped hearing that "shush- oh Meowth.. It's just you"
"What are you looking?" Meowth said peeking from the bush "wait isn't it that old twerp? She's back?"
