"What happened? That tramp has gone to see an obgyn. That's what happened!"
Fang JunRong finally realized what she meant by "gone too far" and she was exactly right.
"I didn't care how many women he had on the side as long as they stayed out of my way. He even promised me in the past that he would never have any bastard children with other women. What do you call this then?!"
"I knew I should have had him get a vasectomy a long time ago and be done with it!"
Wang Ya had always turned a blind eye toward her husband's behavior. After all, he had kept them away from her. But now, when something like this had happened, she could not remain silent anymore.
She was obviously very upset and would not stop complaining. She even showed a picture of the mistress to Fang JunRong in the end. "Look. This is his newest mistress. Young, pretty, and a sweet talker. So sweet that he had changed."
Fang JunRong took a look at the photo and suddenly, she looked at it more carefully. The person in the picture looked familiar. She looked somewhat like Jiang YaGe.
The person sent her not one, but ten photos. They were able to see her clearly in four of them. She had changed a little and wasn't as pretty as she was before but for sure that was Jiang YaGe.
She had been released from jail already?
That made sense. She should have been out around November of last year.
Fang JunRong looked up at Wang Ya, "So what's your plan now?"
Wang Ya sneered. "He was the one who created the situation. I am not going to fix that for him. He will have to take care of it himself! If he doesn't handle it well, I'll just divorce him, take half of his assets and take a page from your book and have my own little fresh meat." She stayed married simply because she saw no difference between being married or not being married. In fact, her husband was very nice to her out of guilt and she had control of most of the money.
She called up her husband and yelled at him. She ended the call with "well, when push comes to shove, we can always get a divorce. I'll free up the spot for her. That's what you want, right?"
She felt much better after she was done shouting and ordered another pot of tea for herself.

Boss Gu was baffled after being yelled at by his wife. He was enraged when he saw the photos from his wife. He had been very careful every time. How did this happen?
True was, had he wanted bastard children, he could have a bunch by now. He couldn't control his desires but he also didn't want to hurt his wife and daughters' interests. So the best he could do was not to have any children outside of his marriage.
He could not keep this child!
He hurried over to Jiang YaGe's place after his meeting.
Jiang YaGe gave him a tender smile when she saw him and placed her hand over her stomach. "I'm pregnant. It's our child. I had a checkup done a few days ago. The child is very healthy."
"I've consulted many experts and they all said this is a boy."
She stressed that particularly hoping that Lao Gu would be nicer to her because of that. He had no son at his age. She was sure that it would move him.
When she looked up, however, she saw a very unhappy look. He was staring straight at her and the hostility in his eyes made her take a step back reflexively. Even her smile froze on her face.
Boss Gu said coldly. "Get an abortion. I'll give you two million yuan."
Jiang YaGe couldn't maintain her smile anymore. Tears rolled down her cheeks. "I didn't do this for money..." He thought he could get rid of her for 2 million yuan? The only thing that she was after was the bracelet.
That did not work on Boss Gu at all. He had seen many of Jiang YaGe's type. Yes, she had been his favorite for a while. But that was because she was young, pretty, and carefree. It was a stress relief to play the game of romance with her occasionally.
But, her getting pregnant when he was being very cautious meant she had orchestrated it. He couldn't possibly keep someone so manipulative around.

Boss Gu wasn't going to beat around the bush with her. He said to her point blank, "Oh yeah? What are you after if not for money? Was it by body odor or my smelly feet?"
Jiang YaGe's face changed from pale to blue and back to pale. She finally got it now. Everything that she had done to get pregnant meant nothing to him.
She gritted her teeth and said, "I can abort the child but I want the bracelet. The one I mentioned before."
Boss Gu was taken aback a little. He looked at Jiang YaGe like she was an idiot. She did all those for a stupid bracelet? He had someone appraise it after his wife had brought it home. It was fake. They put it at 3,000 yuan only because of how real it looked. But his wife liked it so he didn't want to disappoint her and let it go.
Jiang YaGe, "Well?"
Boss Gu waved his hand. "Sure. I will bring it to you after you have the procedure."
It wasn't half bad being able to get rid of her with just a cheap bracelet. He was glad that Jiang YaGe was such a brainless one. That certainly saved a lot of hassles for him.

Jiang YaGe wanted to get her hands on the bracelet as soon as possible so she arranged for the procedures shortly. Being in jail for almost a year and not used to the food there, her body was not the strongest. She had become even weaker after the procedure and had to spend a few days resting at the hospital.
Boss Gu kept his words and brought the bracelet to her. He paid her an additional tens of thousands of yuan as their parting fees.
Lying in bed and looking at the bracelet that was identical to the one that she had seen in her dreams, Jiang YaGe laughed and cried. She had sacrificed so much and now the bracelet was finally hers. Now all she needed was a few drops of Fang JunRong's blood.
What she found disturbing was that someone leaked words about her. She was somewhat known online from the past and now with the news of her being a mistress and pregnant with a bastard child, her reputation dipped to a new low. Even the nurse that she hired to take care of her looked at her as though she was looking at a cockroach.
She had no choice but to pretend that she saw nothing. These people's attitude toward her would all change when she reached her new height.
There were footsteps coming from far to near. Jiang YaGe looked up and the door to her room opened up shortly. Jiang YaGe cowered a little reflexively when she saw Li ShiZe.
She had written a very righteous letter to him when she left him. She then turned right around and became someone's mistress. Even she felt uncomfortable when she ran into Li ShiZe again.
"Shize..." She mumbled.
Li ShiZe, on the other hand, was very calm. "I read about you online."
Jiang YaGe had the urge to hide under the blanket. "I..."
Looking at her wrist, Li ShiZe's lips curved in a mocking way. "All those to get your hands on this bracelet?"

"I came over today because something had occurred to me and I thought I would come and warn you."
"What is it?" Jiang YaGe felt that if she was Li ShiZe, for certain she would not be able to sound so calm. That made her wonder about the purpose of his visit.
"You had always wanted a bracelet that looked like my mom's. I liked you a lot back then and had spent a long time looking for a similar one to comfort you but all of my effort was in vain."
Jiang YaGe's look mellowed out when she heard that. That was the happiest time of her life. Too bad it didn't last very long.
"So I had finally hired someone to make one just like it."
Jiang YaGe had a bad feeling.
"I found out later on that the bracelet ended up with Wang Ya and now it had become yours. Perhaps it was fate. This bracelet represents my love for you."
There was a smile on his face but his words, like venom, caused Jiang YaGe to have difficulty breathing.
Staring straight at the bracelet on her wrist, she felt that her world started to spin.
