Alternating POV's in this chapter.
Shuichi's story.
"...What?" I said
"You're faking it." He said staring at me
"Faking what??" I asked
"Everything. You're faking caring about me. You still hate me." He said
"I never hated you what are you talking about." I said getting up from the bed
"Then why were you leaving notes in my locker telling me to kill myself, huh?" He said his eyes welling up
"What the hell are you talking about?" I frowned
"Stop trying to make me feel stupid i know it was you! You're always glaring at me, you shove me in the hallways, you throw shit at me in class and laugh about it with you're friends i know it was you Saihara.." He said as tears slowly streamed down his face.
He's right.
About the bulling and shoving.. but...
I didn't tell him to kill himself.. why the fuck would he think it was me???
"Listen Ouma. The only reason i started fucking with you was because you ignored everyone when they told you about Rantaro and how abusive he is but you still ran to him. Every time he cheated. You ran to him. Every time he hurt you. You ran to him. I was jealous that you chose him over me." I said my voice slightly raising.
"I never hated you. I hated him and what he turned you into. I hated the fact that you loved him and not me. It was always him. No matter how hard i tried. It. Was. Him." I said bawling my fists up
"So don't fucking blame me for there being death threats in you're locker. Because i didnt do shit. And you know who it was too. You
know exactly who it was." I said
"...." He stayed silent and looked at the floor
"Rantaro isn't abusive.." He mumbled
"This is what I'm talking about Kokichi! You don't listen because you believe everything Rantaro says. God if he told you, you were a girl then you would think you're a girl if he told you that everyone hates you you would believe him. IF HE TELLS YOU HE'S NOT ABUSIVE AND EVERYONE ELSE IS THEN YOU WOULD FUCKING BELIEVE HIM." I yelled
"You're a bad friend Shuichi." He said before getting up and running down stairs.
"..." I stared blankly at the floor.
Kokichi's Story
I bursted out of the front door and ran down the road. Kaede and her mom shouting after me while I sprinted. It started sprinkling and raindrops started drenching my hair.
I continued running and running until I couldn't anymore. My body hurt and my feet were sore.
I slumped down on the road hoping a car would come speeding over me.
But it didn't.
The sun starred to rise as the sky got brighter.
I got up off the road after a little while and continued walking towards the entrance of the neighborhood
I dont know where i was going.
Some place safe.
Safe.
