Aether POV -
While we were going towards the Abyss Stronghold, I told Dain about Asmoday.
"This could be troublesome. Before we enter, I must warn you Aether" Dain said.
"About what?" Paimon asked.
"If the Abyss Order manages to resurrect Asmoday's body, it won't be your friend. No matter how friendly it acts" he said.
"But Asmoday's not from this world! Maybe he can get resurrected" I said.
"That could have been possible if you didn't try to destroy his soul. Even the Abyss can't heal a destroyed soul" Dain said.
I felt guilty for that.
"But what are they going to do with his body?" Paimon asked.
"Asmoday was the only godslayer to ever exist. Even his body should provide enough power to strengthen the mechanized god the abyss is trying to make" Dain said as we entered the stronghold.
After defeating some abyss mages, we finally got to a room with an inverted statue of Venti.
It looked like it was gathering corruption and an Abyss Herald was protecting it.
"You're just as vexatious as ever, Dainsleif, enemy of the Abyss!" the Abyss Herald said.
We started fighting it but didn't notice when it started getting darker.
I almost defeated the Herald, but it opened a portal and tried to escape .
Dain stopped him but a blast of Abyssal energy stopped us.
"Princess" the herald said as it bowed.
"Lumine!" I shouted.
I tried to convince her to leave with me, but she refused.
"Don't try to stop me. Don't try to stop the Abyss" she said, as she told me about Dain's past.
Lumine was about to leave in a portal when we heard a scream.
Oh no! We forgot about the Eclipsed moon!
"Aether! Run! I'll stop the monsters" Dian said.

(Y/N) POV -
Lumine told me that almost all the materials for my resurrection were ready. They just need eye of the first field tiller to make my new body stable.
I was playing UNO with her when she suddenly stood up.
I swear I wasn't cheating!
"Asmoday, I need to leave. An old enemy is causing some trouble" she said as she opened a portal and left.
I waited for a few minutes before another portal opened, but no one came out.
I quickly got in and found myself in a weird cave with Venti's inverted statue.
Lumine and a few Abyss Heralds were fighting a blond guy and some weird monsters.
I didn't want to disturb them, so I went closer to Venti's statue.
It felt like the statue was pulling me.
My soul had been damaged because of Xiao and the Abyssal corruption started entering the wounds.
"Asmoday! Get away from the statue! We don't have the eye yet!" Lumine shouted.
It was too late as I was pulled inside the statue.

Lumine POV -
Asmoday got pulled inside the statue and Osial's limbs started getting absorbed by it.
This is why I wanted eye of the first field tiller.
Asmoday's body would absorb all other items, but the eye would've kept him stable.
The statue started cracking as Asmoday's body started floating.
There was a big shockwave that destroyed all the monsters we were fighting.
"Asmoday?" I asked.
There was an eerie silence as a figure came out of the dust cloud.
Asmoday had absorbed Osial's limbs and the curroption.
His body was covered in an armour similar to abyss lectors and Osial's limbs had been fused with it. Their size was a lot smaller as they moved near Asmoday's wings.
"What have you done Lumine!?" Dain said.
I forgot this bitch was still here.
Asmoday gave me a small pat on my head and left.

(Y/N) POV -
Lumine did it! I finally had my body back!
I gave her a small pat and left to find Aether.
He may have tired to kill me, but Lumine said that was probably because he wanted to put me out of my suffering.
I flew and found a small lake to see my reflection.
I was covered in armour but I could remove it.
My appearance was still the same, but I had Osial's tentacles near my wings now.
They weren't long, but still enough to protect my wings against any surprise attack.
While I was trying to find out what else had changed with me, I noticed more of the weird monsters.
They tried to attack me, but I easily defeated them.
More of them came, and I had to spend rest of the night fighting them.
I started getting tired, when I remembered about my catalyst and how I summoned Kandar to fight Osial.
I tired that and summoned it.
Fortunately, any monsters killed by my undead, joined them.
I gave a silent cheer as my army grew in number.
What I didn't notice were a pair of eyes looking at me.

Aether POV -
When we returned to Liyue, we were told that a weird monster had been spotted near Mond.
According to the description, it looked like Asmoday, but had a pure black armor and black tentacles near it's back, surrounded by the monsters that had been attacking us everynight.
(A/N : People of Teyvat are stupid. If they can't find apples when standing next to an apple tree, they can't tell the difference between someone fighting monsters and someone standing with them)
I remembered what Dain told me. Even the Abyss can't fully bring back Asmoday.
The next day I asked Zhongli and some Adepti to come to Mond with me as we got ready to fight the fake Asmoday that the Abyss Order had made.
"Aether, it's close" Diluc said.
By the time it got closer it was starting to get dark.
Monsters were starting to appear, when I noticed a large group of them gather around Mond in a large circle. (A/N : They were trying to protect Mond)
Then, I saw it.
A monster of the Abyss using my friend's body as a puppet.
It removed it's armour and got closer to me.

(Y/N) POV -
I tried to hug Ae when he pointed his sword at me.
"Attack!" he shouted and Zhongli summoned a meteor at me.
Xiao and Diluc also started attacking me, as hundreds of arrows were fired.
I didn't have time to react as my body was crushed.
I regenerated and tried to talk with Ae, but my voice still didn't come out.
Why are to hurting me?
Why did you try to kill me again?
I tried to say but no sound came.
"You don't deserve to be here" Aether said as he stabbed my visions with his sword, and the attacks continued.
Weren't you my friend?
Why?
Why?

*Flash back*
Where am I?
"I'm so sorry" someone said.
Who are you?
"When I ordered my men to capture you, I didn't know you would end up like this" she said.
Right. I'm in a Fatui lab.
"I can't help you, but I hope you escape" she said.
I tried to move but couldn't.
"You still have a will to fight. Even after one month of pure torture. I can't help you, but I can teach you something. I learned it when I wanted to burn away all monsters for taking all I had" she said.
What do you mean?
"Look closely, I can only show this once. I no longer have my vision, but you can easily get the desired effect on your own. Now, look at the peak of human abilities" she said as flames covered us.

My cryo and electro visions had been destroyed, but my armour absorbed the elemental energy.
I summoned a pyro and geo visions and destroyed them.
