The people who hate on you even if you have given them no reason for it; and are the source of creating unnecessary menace in your life, when all you've done is minding your own business, whilst trying to please your Lord, are not being this way because of anything you did to trigger them.
There might've been a time when you were not the best version of yourself and weren't among those who were the best to people. And all that had nothing to do with the people around you—but with the changes you were going through within your existence.
Therefore, if you come across people who are being a thorn in your side without any reason, then treat them kindly or say nothing at all. Instead, pray for their guidance and yours as well. For had it not been for the guidance of Allah SWT, we would all have been left misguided.
