Letting out a breath and wiping away the sweat accumulating among your forehead your eyes trailed across the polished floor. Most of the glass had been swept away courtesy of the large broom you'd found while what remained was just the candelabra you'd thrown at the woman.
Sweeping the remaining small pile of shards into a dustpan then picking up the candelabra you placed it back onto one of the tables, ears straining afterwards as a shrill scream echoed down the hallway.
Knowing that the scream was from your petite blond friend you turned sharply darting down the hall, the soles of your shoes squealed faintly at how fast you were turning corners eventually spotting the blond haired girl.
"There's a weirdo on the island!"
"Hey, you calling me a weirdo?!" Hearing the second voice speak up, your steps slowed, eyes trailing past the blond towards a familiar brunette; who at the moment was gesturing towards himself, face void of a mask.
"Suzi, you scared me. I thought you were in danger." Stepping closer to stand beside the girl you raised a hand resting it over your heart. "Though I have to agree there is a weirdo on the island. Has been here the whole month."
"Wha- (Y/N)?!" Gaping at the fact you agreed with Suzi in an instant he let out a whine. "Come on! Tell her it's me Joseph Joestar!" Pointing to himself he gave you a pleading look, something you couldn't help but snort at.
"Suzi this is JoJo, you know-" Moving to throw an arm around the girl and hold up your hand you covered the bottom half of his face from her view, an 'O' right away left her lips. "That Jojo."
Clueing in on what you were doing Joseph's own mouth formed an 'O' before he started speaking, "Ah right you haven't seen my face this entire time? And? Am I handsome?" Moving to lean against the wall you watched Joseph rest a hand on his hip.
"Weird lips."
Holding in a laugh as the comment left your friend, Joseph right away raised a hand the brunette speaking right after, "Even though my lips are weird, if we happen to fall in love. . .you could kiss them all you like!"
A laugh left Suzi, "In your dreams!" A hand reached up to pull at the sides of her mouth, the girl pulling a funny face which once again drew out a laugh from you.
"Alright Suzi, well now that I know you're not in danger why don't you continue what you were doing, alright? I'll take care of the island's residential weirdo." Voicing that you pulled your arm away from where it temporarily rested around her shoulder, a laugh left her lips but she didn't object knowing that you were right with her needing to continue what she was asked to do.
Stepping to the side to give her some space you caught the faint flicker of her gaze elsewhere moving your own to follow it only to be met with nothing.
"Oh right, Madam Lisa Lisa would like to see the both of you in her room. But she's in the bath, so wait half an hour." Recalling what one of the tasks she was given, Suzi let out a hum afterwards.
Nodding your head towards what she'd said you opened your mouth to speak before being cut off by Joseph, "Right. I was gonna go there already. They know about the Stone!" This caught your attention and almost instantly you'd given the brunette a warning look, Suzi didn't need to be involved in something like this.
"Is there something the matter with Madam Lisa Lisa's stone?"
"Of course not! Nothings wrong, you shouldn't worry about it." Waving your hand in the air to deter the blond from asking anything else she let out a hum in response to what you'd said, her eyes trailing across your face blankly before a smile stretched out across her lips.
Turning in place to continue with what she'd been doing the petite girl paused, cheeks tinting faintly as she spoke towards Joseph. "Umm, JoJo. . .You're actually quite a looker." After uttering that she turned running down the hall.
Watching her depart you couldn't help but feel like something was off, sure she was a naturally bubbly girl but something like that wasn't what you'd expected to come out of the girls mouth.
Pulling your gaze away from where she departed from you could see Joseph staring at you from the corner of your eye, a sigh left your lips. "No comment." A hand was raised towards the brunette before you added on. "But I will ask how your exam was."
At the mention of it Joseph's face twisted faintly into a scowl, the recollection of what happened was still fresh in his mind of course. "Loggins is dead and I ended up defeating one of the Pillar men. Esidisi was his name." Beginning to walk down the hall his expression hardened from it's playful one moments prior. "I got the antidote for one of the rings but now they know Lisa Lisa has the stone."
Pressing your lips firmly into a line as he spoke you walked alongside him, clearly he was replaying the battle in his mind as well as thinking over potential outcomes.
"Did you get hurt?"
Hearing you ask that Joseph let out a hum, he appreciated that you didn't right away jump into the Pillar men conversation and even took the time to ask how he was doing instead.
"I'm fine. Barely got hit, that's just how good I am now." The cocky yet playful attitude from before returned and you couldn't help but roll your eyes. "Although if anything I'm glad that stupid mask if off now." Raising a hand he couldn't help but rub the lower half of his face.
"I don't know I kinda liked it," Musing that out you sped up turning towards where you recalled Lisa Lisa's room being. "You talked less with it."
"Hey!" Right away speeding up as well Joseph threw his arms out. "That's mean." A whine followed what he'd added on the brunette continuing to trail behind you till a thought had occurred to him. A sly smile crept onto his lips seeing that you'd stopped walking, opting to rest along a nearby railing.
Practically tiptoeing over he tapped your shoulder in a playful manner, turning your head a 'what' barely had time to leave your lips before he'd given them a peck. "Gotcha." Musing that out he pulled back, eyes scanning across your expression feeling a sense of pride as colour flooded your cheeks.
Registering what happened you raised a hand hovering it over your mouth, "What was that for?!"
Grinning at the way your face maintained a pink hue he hummed out in accomplishment. "Just getting you back for when we fought each other. I said I'd get one, didn't I?" Oh how you wanted to wipe that cheeky smile off his face in that very moment.
Letting out a scoff you turned your head back towards the balcony, eyes returning towards the crystal blue water watching Suzi drop off a parcel for the mail boat exchanging a few words with the driver.
"Suzi Q?" Hearing Joseph speak to himself you turned your head confused as to what the brunette was talking about, your eyes right away landed on the man kneeling before Lisa Lisa's room peering in through the lock.
"JoJo?! What are you-" Drawing closer you were about to scold the brunette before he pulled you down enough to look through the lock as well. The view was as you expected, Lisa Lisa taking a bath but what really captured your attention was the petite blond you'd been watching not too long ago.
How the hell did she get there so fast?
Giving Joseph a confused look he stood back up reaching out towards the doors handle before pulling his hand back, green threads of slime attached to it.
"What in the world?!" Staring at the glistening threads you could hear commotion from inside, moving once more to practically squish yours and Josephs cheeks together both of you stared through the keyhole watching Suzi or who you thought was Suzi twitch, black patterns began to creep across her skin and yellow gas was coughed out.
Stepping back from the door and pulling you away Joseph slammed it open, "Esidisi! Don't you know when it's time to give up?" Pointing an accusing hand towards the Pillar Man inhabiting Suzi Q the both of you glared it down. A hand rested itself along Joseph's shoulder catching his attention instantly, "Oh, Caesar. It's about time."
Finding that the conversation between the two didn't involve you, you gradually crept closer towards Lisa Lisa, hand resting against the whip hooked onto your belt. Your eyes trailed across 'Suzi's expression watching as she moved towards a pillar taking a seat proceeding afterwards to begin crying."Save me, Caesar! Please...they're all picking on me...but you aren't going to, right, Caesar?"
"Don't take what she's saying literally Caesar. That's not Suzi." Calling that out while sliding yourself in front of Lisa Lisa a hand raised to point towards the weeping blond. "Esidisi's taken her over!"
"Caesar, they sent the stone away on a postal boat. Leave this to us. Go after the Stone." Hearing the woman speak from behind you, your gaze shifted towards the water, there was no way he could reach the boat in time nor know where it was going. "If the Stone reaches a train in Venice...we won't know where in the world it could go!"
Lurching off the pillar and hitting Caesar, 'Suzi' continued bouncing around the room, large tentacle-like arms stretched out from her form allowing her to hang in the doorway. Taunts left her lips towards the group before Joseph made an attempt to land a hit, stopping of course when thinking about the possibility that Suzi could get hurt in the process.
Dropping down from the doorway Esidisi spoke, "The stone has likely already made it to the main island. You're too late! A-And now..." Heat had begun to emanate from the girl's body and he's begun using her hands to tear skin off her face. "And now I will explode this girl's body...and cover you all with blood as hot as lava!"
Droplets of blood flew off the body landing against the tiled floor with a sizzle, the liquid easily burning through the ground.
"Suzi's going to burn up!" Raising a hand you pointed a finger towards it. "You bastard!"
