Aether POV -
I ran outside with Paimon and saw the Jade chamber moving towards Osial. We somehow caught up to them, and used a floating platform to get up.
All the Adepi and some Millelith were there too.
"Ningguang, what's the plan?" I asked her.
"I have modified the Guizhong Ballista. We're going to attack Osial using that" she said.
The Adepti got on one Ballista each, and started firing at Osial. Things were going pretty smoothly, when Fatui started attacking us.
I took out my sword and started killing them, as Xiao, Ganyu, and Madam Ping provided me with some power boosts.
When all the Fatui were dead, we tried attacking Osial again, but he managed to destroy the Ballista with a powerful attack.
Ningguang said that she would sacrifice the Jade chamber to seal Osial, and I concentrated the Adepti's powers on it, by using my body as a catalyst.
When we escaped the explosion, I noticed that Osial was still alive. Barely though.
"He's still alive!" Paimon shouted.
"No. This was calculated. You can't fully kill a god. We were hoping to weaken him enough to seal him away" Xiao said.
"But who's going to seal him?" I asked.
"That would be me" Zhongli said as he appeared behind us.
"Mr. Zhongli! Why are you covered in blood!?" Paimon shouted.
"I've been fulfilling the part of my broken contract" he said with a guilty look.
I saw that there were hundreds of Fatui agents at the harbor. Zhongli had prevented them from attacking us at the Jade chamber.
He was about to seal Osial away, when Childe stopped him.
"Sorry, comrade. But duty calls" he said, as he threw a small cube at Osial.
"CHILDE NO!" Zhongli shouted.
The box broke and covered Osial in cubes similar to the one Asmoday's blood turns into.
"Dottore's new experiment seems useful" he said before escaping.
I saw as Osial was covered in the cubes as they started spreading further. Soon, he was completely covered in them, and when they were absorbed into his body, he was completely healed. No, he was stronger.
"Osial has recovered completely. Currently, he's as strong as back in the archon war" Xiao said.
Before we could do anything, he attacked us with an attack similar to the one that destroyed the Ballista.
All of us barely survived when I noticed something wrong. The Fatui corpses were twitching.

Jean POV -
After Asmoday noticed the massive pillar of energy coming from Liyue, he quickly flew there. The abyss mages soon left and we returned to Mond.
Albedo quickly ran to his lab and brought two small containers and some notes.
"Jean! We have to stop Asmoday!" he quickly said.
"Calm down Albedo, and tell us what's happening" Diluc said.
He gave us his notes and opened the containers.
"You remember what the abyss mages said? They want to make Asmoday a god slayer. The energy coming from Liyue is Osial, an ancient god" he said.
"While the abyss using Asmoday to kill is god is clearly wrong, I don't get why you're panicking" Kaeya said.
"Under normal circumstances, it would be great. But the problem is this" he said as he pulled out a small tube with a black cube, that was trying to escape.
"Asmoday's blood contains traces of divinity. Almost as if a god swapped it with his original blood. If he becomes a god slayer, the backlash might be too much. The cubes in his blood have already started going rouge" he said.
"I'm going to contact the Qixing" I said as I started writing a letter to ask them prevent Asmoday from killing Osial.
"What's the fastest it can reach there?" Diluc asked.
"If I use all of my spies, a few hours minimum" Kaeya said.
"We don't have that much time" Lisa said.
"I can help" someone said outside my window.
I turned around and saw Venti with his face pressed against the glass.
"Venti? This is the 3rd floor" I said.
"And?" he replied.
Ah! I forgot that he's the anemo archon.
"Anyways, how can you help?" I asked.
"I could make a strong wind current and reduce the journey by half. But it won't take you all the way to Liyue. I'm not allowed to use my powers in another archon's domain" he said.
"That will be enough. I'll deliver the letter" Diluc said, as he left with Venti.
I hope he can reach there in time.

Aether POV -
"Umm... guys? Why are the Fatui corpses twitching?" Paimon asked.
"Something bad is about to happen" Zhongli said, as he created a shield to protect Liyue from Osial's attack.
Suddenly, I felt a familiar zap in the air.
"Asmoday?" I whispered.
Elemental energy started concentrating around us, as small electro arrows were formed.
"This... it's just like Osial's attack, but reversed" Keqing said.
(You guys remember how Osial turned a massive energy beam into many small water arrows to attack the jade chamber? This is just that)
The arrows shot towards the sky and fell as a massive energy beam on Osial.
It shrieked in pain as it's attacks finally stopped.
I saw Asmoday flying above us.
"Asmoday! You're alright!" I shouted.
He turned towards us.... Something was wrong with him. This skin had turned pure black, with gold marking on them. It looked almost like Childe's armor.
He didn't respond to us, and summoned his catalyst, as it changed into a book with a face.
"Isn't that the book he used to summon a weird ghost like thing in front of Albedo?" Paimon asked.
Just like last time, the book started chanting in an unknown language. But this time, it had corpses to use. Hundreds of corpses.
All the Fatui started flying near the book, as their bodies started to rip apart and fuse together.
When the process was over, I heard a scream as the pile of corpses collapsed, and a 60 feet tall demon began screeching.

All the Fatui that weren't used, were turned into mindless zombies and surrounded the demon.
Asmoday tried to attack Osial but was running low on energy, so he turned towards us.
Before we could do anything, he stabbed Xiao with his hand and extracted some kind of black aura before flying away.
"Xiao! You alright!?" Ganyu asked.
"I'm... fine" he replied.
"What did he do to you?" Paimon asked.
"He absorbed Xiao's karmic debt as a source of energy" Zhongli said.
Asmoday absorbed the aura and his body got covered in a black armor. Finally he had enough power and summoned Dvalin's attack against Osial.
The attack was made up of electro, and ended up splitting the ocean as it reached Osial.
The demons that Asmoday summoned, started running on the ocean floor and attacked Osial, while Asmoday provided support from the background, occasionally attacking Osial with spears of electro of pyro.
The fight was going pretty well when something that looked like Osial attacked Asmoday.
"Beisht, Osial's wife" Zhongli said.
Asmoday survived the attack when Osial attacked him. I noticed that his visions were cracking.
"Mr. Zhongli? What happens if someone's vision gets cracked?" I asked.
"Visions are really hard to destroy, but if their user takes enough damage, they can be destroyed using a large amount of energy. When this happens, the visions will explode, releasing all thier energy" he said.
As the visions finally exploded, there was a surge of elemental energy and Asmoday's armor got covered in pyro and electro energy.
The demons summoned by him screamed in pain.
Asmoday tried attacking Osial again, but couldn't use the energy surrounding him without a vision.
He looked up in frustration as a Cryo and electro vision appeared next to him.
I'm pretty sure he gave a massive grin under his helmet before he started charging for another attack.
Suddenly, Diluc arrived there.
"Aether! You need to stop Asmoday!" he said as he gave Ningguang a letter.
She read it, and her eyes widened.
"I suppose this can't be avoided" she said in a sad tone.
"Everyone! We need to prevent Asmoday from killing Osial, or the backlash would kill him" she said.
Soon everyone started concentrating their energy and Zhongli made a large shield near Osial.
Asmoday's attack was stopped and he turned towards us.
He started attacking us in rage, but the Adepti were able to protect us.
When he noticed that he couldn't harm us, he turned towards the place where the Fatui corpses previously were, and all the delusions started flying.
"He's going to kill himself if he uses so many delusions at once!" Diluc shouted.
We tried to stop him, but Asmoday managed to strike Osial with the power of his new visions and hundreds of delusions.
There was a massive shockwave and when it subdued, Osial was nothing more than a pile of dead tentacles. Beisht managed to survive, and escaped.
Asmoday flew towards Osial's corpse but something was wrong with him.
He touched the corpse and it turned into a black ball, just like the one he made from Venti's statue.
Asmoday removed his armour and ate the ball. The demons gave a happy scream before vanishing.
When Asmoday turned towards us, I saw the problem. His face, his body. IT WAS ALL WRONG!
HIS BODY WAS MELTING!!!
He tried flying towards us, but fell half-way.
Xiao quickly teleported and brought him to us.
He was bleeding and the red cubes that usually heal him had turned black, as they destroyed him from the inside.
Using the delusions had weakened him a lot and he was barely alive.
I didn't even notice when I got close to him and hugged him.
He opened his mouth, but nothing came out.
I noticed that his breathing was getting rough and hugged him tighter.
He turned his head towards me as he tried to touch my face, before his eye became dull and his body went limp.
Paimon was crying while trying to wake him up but it was too late. My friend was dead.

Asmoday POV -
(When I say Asmoday POV, it means the Unknown god. Not Y/N)
Sealing the twins and the mysterious boy had completely drained me and I went into a comatose state for over 500 years, as my body recovered all the lost energy.
When I finally woke up I noticed something wrong. I still hadn't fully recovered.
This could mean only one thing.
I quickly tried to find the kid who helped my, but couldn't detect him. He was dead. Killed by the cubes I gave to protect him.
"NO, NO, NO, NO.... NOOOOO!!!!!" I shouted as a black corruption slowly overtook me.
I was the sustainer of heavenly principles and I had just broken them. I couldn't stop 'them' any longer... I no longer had the authority.
"The eclipsed moon shines" I said, before the corruption took control.

Finally! The main storyline gets an update!
A short chapter for now, but the next one will fully implement the changes in plot and will be longer.
Tell me if this chapter need any changes. I have no idea how to write angst :/
