"Who's K?"

Hearing the question, Minjeong sat in place dumbfoundedly. Uncertain of what her girlfriend's asking about, at the same time, hoping it wasn't what she thinks it is.

Minjeong smiled stoically, "What do you mean who's K?"

Jimin raised her head and looked at her girlfriend suspiciously, "Your notebook had words like; Chilly, mysterious, weird, stubborn. It seems like you're listing things about a certain person, Jeongie." she pouted her lips.

Aaahhh... I'm done for.

"Did you like someone else before me?" she asked with a grunt. "Don't tell me you still like that person, that page at least had six things which two I didn't mention."

Minjeong huffed before releasing a chuckle, "I think you just invaded my privacy."

"I don't care."

The taller turned her girlfriend's head to face her, glaring at the latter with eyes reminiscent of a hawk. Minjeong could only purse her lips at the gaze, contemplating whether she should tell the girl her reason for writing such characteristics.

"So, Kim Minjeong... who is K? Is it a girl?"

Slightly nervous, Minjeong sighed in defeat. "Yeah, I like this person and it's a girl... but-"

Before the girl could finish her words, Jimin punched the latter on the shoulder and turned her back with her arms crossed, sulking.

"Hmph... and I thought I was the only one you ever liked."

Minjeong held in her laughter as she thought Jimin's jealous state was adorable. She then scooted closer and grabbed the latter's hand, planting a kiss on its back.

"You are. Because that K is you, Rina."

Jimin shot a glance at her girlfriend, doubtful. "That doesn't make any sense, you know?"

The shorter laughed whilst turning Jimin's body to face hers, clasping her hand along with a  serious gaze to indicate that she's telling the truth.

"Are you doubting this shut-in who has social problems and barely leaves her apartment?"

"Okay, good point." Jimin sighed and pouted, "Though in all seriousness... what does K even mean?"

As that question popped up, a flash flood of memories resurfaced Minjeong's mind that caused her to snicker and shrug.

"Karina."

"Karina...?" Jimin furrowed her brows, "Didn't you just add K and A? What the heck was that for anyway?"

"Oh, it was pure coincidence."

"Uhuh?"

"No, really. You know how much I hated you at the time, then I can't even remember why but... I addressed you so many names inside my thoughts."

"Okay...? What does Karina mean?"

"It never had any meaning actually." Minjeong chuckled, "I thought it just suited you, but now that you mentioned it... the name kind of sounded like your typical girl who'd party all night in clubs, get drunk, and be dragged by suspicious men."

"Did you really just attack me?"

"Nah, I totally saved your life... thrice," the shorter teased.

Jimin breathed out a long sigh as she shook off her girlfriend's hand and gazed at her lap. Promptly, releasing a small peal of laughter when recalling the mentioned memories.

"Then those six things I saw... were just all about me?"

"Ding ding ding!"

"Pfft, that's a bit strange.. but if it's you I don't mind." Jimin chortled, casually moving over to sit on her girlfriend's lap. "What's it for anyway?"

"Well, the plan was writing fifty things about you."

"Fifty?" Jimin raised her brows, "That's a lot..."

"Yeah, I already have thirty-four written inside my journal." Minjeong chuckled nervously, "I never really know anything that much about you, so it just so happens that I've been doing that for a while now." she explained bluntly.

"...huh, I'm speechless."

"Did I make you uncomfortable? I'm sorry, I'll stop."

Jimin shook her head as she wrapped her arms around the shorter's neck, "No, actually... I support what you're doing. There's nothing bad about writing things about me, who knows? It might actually come in handy." she assured with a smile whilst playing with the latter's hair.

Astonished, Minjeong watched her girlfriend who can't seem to remove that beautiful smile on her face.

"I'm glad you told me this, this is way better than finding out you liked someone else." Jimin said which earned a chuckle from her girlfriend, "I hate being lied about what I asked... oh hey, you can add that to your list."

"That, I'll do."

Jimin stood up with a giggle, reaching out her hand to offer her girlfriend. Minjeong got confused by this and tilted her head, the taller then explained that she's going to show her around the room as the probability of them hanging out in the place would happen again.

Thus, Minjeong took the hand and matched her girlfriend's pace as the latter showed her around the large room— The first door nearby was just a huge closet that contained Jimin's clothes, shoes, and accessories, not to mention all of them were almost worth millions of won.

While the second door next to it was the huge bedroom. The walls were colored white with a few blue colors, and the usual furniture you'd see in a bedroom... but expensive.

Though what caught Minjeong's whole attention was a particular brown stuffed bear that's laid down on the middle of the bed, she was quick to break away from her girlfriend's hand and approach it with surprise.

"Ain't this the one I gave you?"

"I named it MJ." Jimin smiled in delight, "When we weren't together yet... I hug it whenever I feel wiped out from practicing, reminds me of you always. Now that I have you, I can hug you whenever I want!"

The taller playfully launched herself into her girlfriend's arms, causing their balance to break, stumble and fall on the bed. Laughter then filled the room as both embraced each other cozily on the mattress.

With Jimin on top of her girlfriend, she was just about to lean in and plant a kiss. Well, not until a knock sounded on her bedroom door which forced her to instantly get up and fix her crinkly clothes.

Witnessing the reaction, Minjeong solely went along and sat up on the bed properly.

After one more knock, the door opened which revealed a tall man that Minjeong was well acquainted with.

"D-Dad?" Jimin displayed a stoic smile, "What are you doing here?"

Mr. Yu...

The man returned the smile and laid his back against the corridor, lingering his eyes around the room that stopped towards the shorter's way. Somehow, Minjeong felt an uneasy flip turn her stomach.

Totally forgot I stepped inside the lion's den.

"Kim Minjeong...?" A confused yet suspicious look appeared on the man's face, "I didn't expect to meet you here again." he turned his head to face his daughter. "What is she doing here? Aren't you supposed to be practicing right now too?"

Jimin hid her hands behind her back, clenching them to suppress the fear and nervousness residing within her eyes. This was noticed by Minjeong who sat in silence on the bed, she never showed any expressions like usual though was worried about the whole circumstance.

"We're really close to each other, Dad. She just happened to attend the party that's going on and visited," she explained calmly.

"Hmm, I guess time for friends is fine..."

Jimin acted out a chuckle as the older patted his daughter's shoulder before turning to approach Minjeong who's casually pretending to play with the bear on the bed.

"This is unexpected, were you here for my son? I heard stories from your father that you rarely liked parties."

Damn it, dad.

"Yes sir, I did ask Sicheng some erm... things."

"I see I see." The man patted the girl's back, "I hope you reconsider that contract, it'd be appreciated." he cleared his throat. "Anyway, would you mind giving the both of us some privacy? I need to talk to her."

Uncertain, Minjeong landed her eyes on her girlfriend. Jimin quickly noticed this and solely gave the latter a subtle nod, the latter swore that something bad was about to happen— she didn't want to leave.

But unfortunately at the moment, there's nothing she could do about it.

Minjeong had fully no idea what relationship Jimin had with her father, only a few glimpses which she knew were bad. Therefore, left with no other choice, she nodded her head and stood up from the bed.

She stole one last glance at her girlfriend before walking her way out of the room. When she made her way outside the hallway and closed the door, she couldn't help but release a big huff.

There's just something that didn't feel so good wavered inside her stomach and Minjeong hated it, but whatever it is... she'd be sure to approach Jimin and check her condition later.

Eventually, Minjeong returned to the party and was immediately met with two figures who had their arms rested on the railings by the veranda.

"Minjeong! Over here, come drink with us!"

The voice came from Sicheng who's waving his arm rapidly at the girl who stared at them through the open door that led outside the veranda.

Hearing the word drink resulted in the girl swallowing her spit bitterly as she approached the two figures and positioned herself at the very left.

"Want some?" the second figure offered a can of beer and the moment Minjeong raised her eyes to look at the person, it was none other than Kai.

Minjeong smiled apologetically, "I can't drink well, sorry."

"Aw, too bad." Kai opened the can he had in hand and took a sip, "Are you looking for Aeri and Ning?"

Win drank all of his beer and threw it into a trash bin, "I saw them making out by the pool."

Minjeong snickered, "Yeah, I'm good. I don't wanna be a damn third wheel."

"Well, what happened with Jimin? You two done talking?"

Win casually asked which had Kai raise a brow, not aware of Minjeong and his so-called girlfriend meeting.

Minjeong noticed this and turned her head to look at the students who were tossing water balloons at each other, trying to avoid Kai's gaze which failed and caused him to stare at the latter with utter suspicion.

"You two met?" he asked.

Minjeong portrayed her poker face, "I visited her room that's all, we chatted for a bit until Mr. Yu came."

"Dad is here?!" Win flinched, seemingly about to panic with the said information. "Holy shit, we're so dead by tomorrow once all of these people are gone!" he clenched onto his hair.

Kai nudged the guy beside him and laughed, "I'll defend you don't worry, Kihyun and the others asked for this."

"Oh..." Win sighed in relief, "I'd love that."

Kai rolled his eyes, "Well, what happened to Jimin?" he looked at the girl once again, there was a hint of worry in his pupils.

"Oh my god, that's a good question." Win commented with a gasp, one could tell he's probably drunk.

Minjeong could only smile sternly, "I don't know, I'm sorry."

"That's fine." Kai chuckled whilst taking another sip of his beer, "I'll just check up on her if anything bad happens and if I can't, I'll have you do it for me since you're the closest to her." he said monotonously and Minjeong found it quite odd.

Nevertheless, she shrugged that thought away and remained her eyes on the people having fun in front of her.

"Hey Minjeong, we're comrades... right?" Kai asked before watching the people in front of them.

Minjeong tucked one hand into her hoodie's pockets and unconsciously clenched them inside of it, "Yes..." she lied, feeling slightly guilty, and continued with her words. "I'll check on her whenever you're absent, don't worry."

Kai finished his can and smiled, "Thank you."

Feeling a strange tension, Win flickered his eyes back and forth at Kai and Minjeong. Even though he's drunk, he could still feel the things around him. Thus, he took the risk and spoke nonchalantly to break it.

"Damn bro, you're really in love with my sister huh?" he hooked his arm around Kai.

"So much that I'll give up my everything to her." Kai smiled at the thought, "How about you two? Do you guys have someone you like?"

Minjeong answered first to avoid suspicion, "I'm still questioning myself."

Win energetically raised his hand, "I love Minjeong!" he exclaimed with a cheeky smile.

"Wow, you're really drunk." Kai examined the guy beside him, "Do you know about this Minjeong?"

Minjeong laughed, "Definitely, for a long time. I rejected him countless times now."

Win stood up properly whilst patting his chest in determination, "And I won't give up! Well, maybe I would if she walks away with someone she's happy with." he rested his chin on his palm.

"Damn, love the determination buddy!" Kai patted his back, "But why don't you give up now? Doesn't it hurt?"

Minjeong turned her head to look at Win with great interest, "Yeah, why?"

"Hmm..." Win sluggishly looked up at the night sky, thinking. "Getting hurt when loving someone is normal duh! If you love someone, they could make you sad. They could even make you feel lonely sometimes. But, that someone can also make you happier than you'll ever be."

Minjeong raised a brow, "I make you happy? Bruh, I rarely even talk to you in real life aside from playing games with Ryujin and Sakura."

"Exactly!" Win rapidly nodded his head, "Playing video games with you every day is like a delicacy to me!"

Minjeong snickered at her drunken friend, "Just where did this liking thing start?"

"Ehhh, don't you remember?" Win furrowed his brows, "That alley!"

"Huh?"

"The first time I saw you was through the pictures Jimin had... Then the first time we met was back at that alley!"

Kai smiled in concern, "Hey, you look really unstable right now."

Win smiled and shook his head, "No, I need to tell her that I saved her!"

He approached Minjeong and drunkenly placed his hands on her shoulders, staring at the latter with great intent.

"How's the wound? It healed nicely right?"
